  1. Both the antecedent and the consequent are true, yet this implication is completely false. (Just to stick to in-game counterexamples, the legacy bank has a cap beyond the limits of 32-bit arithmetic.)
  2. You can get them back from the NPC, however the NPC is bugged (at least for me). On the first interaction they will just give you an empty temporary bar slot, and only the 2nd time will they actually give the abilities.
  3. Except that you can obtain them spending quite literally 0 credits in the process.
  4. This is not fixed with 7.0.1. Kai just swallowed 3000 fragments and 1500000 credits without giving anything.
  5. I haven't personally experienced any duplicates, but that does not mean they don't happen. Anyway, I still think it's important to explain precisely how duplicate protection works (should work), because I'd bet a larger amount of credits on that a majority of these reports are complaining about this erratic behavior and not an actual bug.
  6. This. The new weekly format pretty much implies that you either do an op in one go or leave it unfinished. While I do agree that weeklies should only be granted on full clears, this is a bad solution. Maybe the lockout system could be tweaked so that it allows for a boss to be killed multiple times a week but only be looted once?
  7. My experience is that the RNG protection is working, for a special definintion of working. (This... bug? feature? was also present before 7.0.) The thing is, all SoW setpieces have two variants in the game. One that was sold by vendors (the unmodded one) and one that used to drop from content (the modded one). The game considers these to be completely separate items (to the extent that unmodded items didn't count for the achievements for a very, very long time.) The bad news is, you cannot tell by looking at a piece whether it's the modded or the unmodded one (again: it only matters how you obtained it, not whether it has any mods in it at the moment). Duplicate protection only considers the modded (i.e. random drop) variants of these items. If you get something from Kai, store it and you should not get it again. Yes, this means you might have to rebuy large chunks of your sets, depending on how much of your collections you got from the gear vendors in 6.x.
  8. Our newly forming late-night team is currently looking for 2 Tanks. Our goal is to progressively clear the harder content in the game, with a special focus on the new raid. NiM experience is nice, but not mandatory. Raid times will be 21:30 to 24:00 GMT (22:30 to 01:00 CET) on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Monday. (We might go for 3 or 4 days, we'll see. Feel free to contact me even if some of these days are not OK for you.) The exact days may be up to change. We'll trial on the harder HMs for practice and team cohesion and hopefully quickly get into NiMs. Discord will be used for organization and voice chat. Please contact me on Discord (Ne'laa#6950) for any further information.
  9. Bump as my last team just fell apart. (Not available on Wednesday and Saturday.)
  10. This doesn't look like cheating, but essentially the same as the acid bug already mentioned. The guy probably scored before and the engine thinks he's still in the endzone, so whenever he picks up the ball, it auto-scores. I vaguely remember having seen this one before. Very unlikely to be a speed/teleport hack, as the character in question does not move at all. The speedhacks I've seen don't look like this, they actually involve the character moving, although very fast. As usual, most hacking accusations can be explained by simple game mechanics/bugs. This seems to be no exception.
  11. Do you mean you can't afford another Dxun salerun?
  12. How about... just no. Chat is fine as it is. You can turn it off.
  13. Long-term player with pre-Gods HM/NiM and lots of PvP experience looking for a raid team to clean up some old ops achievements and Gods/Dxun HM/NiM. Prefer tanking but can do other roles if necessary. I'm available most (but not all) evenings and pretty much every late night (CEST time). Can join a guild but a Discord-only team would be preferable. Feel free to contact me at Ne'laa hashmark 6950 on Discord.
  14. Are you seriously bragging about clearing a fight where you literally cannot die as you are healed up every time your health drops too low? Newer flashpoints are so easy they are soloable in MM and easily doable naked with a level 1 companion in SM. And some people keep complaining that it's still too hard. Apparently any content where it is possible to die is too hard.
  15. I agree, these fights are definitely a step up in difficulty and seriously need to be toned down. But fear not, I've assembled a detailed video guide to show you how to gear and prepare for successfully completing this challenging content: My advice for beating the flashpoint is that you should have something slotted in your mainhand (otherwise you will not be able to attack) and not have your companion dismissed during fights (as they do not help you when not present). Also, keyboard keys to which abilities are bound need to be depressed repeatedly during the fights. If there's anything else I can help you with, feel free to ask. (Mistakes and outright ignorances might have been made during the production of the recordings.)
  16. I've stopped playing PvP for a good while now so I'm afraid not.
  17. I said I would permanently leave with cross-faction, and I plan to keep to that. In fact I haven't logged in since they announced their plans to do it, only grabbed a week referral sub to experience firsthand what they've unleashed. Matches are still completely imbalanced, arenas with 2 healers, premades farming pugs and the usual all-around cluelessness. I did not feel PvP now is even the tiniest bit more balanced; in fact, if I had not known matchmaking was implemented, I wouldn't have thought of it. The Huttball changes are awful. The 45s timer makes it nearly impossible to carry your team if you happen to be the only person caring. All the more reasons to just sit through the whole thing in stealth. Changing everything to purple and yellow is stupid, could've stayed green and red, it wasn't faction-specific to begin with. Now it's only harder to tell apart who has what. The fun of PvP ruined, gained nothing in return. At least the trolls got their way. Bye SW:TOR.
  18. This is one of the things that really piss me off in warzones. When people don't even understand they were let win, because the other team just did not care, and consider it some amazing accomplishment on their part. You're very wrong to think they aren't good players and that they don't know all that. Being good does not equal to playing objectives, and if they cared, they could win. You're just deluding yourself.
  19. It's technically impossible to have anyone incapacitated for more than ~50% of the fight, even if all the mezzing is done perfectly. With that said, it's still pretty hard to heal against mez-spamming comps.
  20. Pubbies are revealing the Great Imperial Conspiracy. How cute.
  21. I would be pretty happy if companions didn't randomly stop attacking something they've been explicitly told to attack.
  22. Grab aggro on everything and run around objects to line-of-sight the GEMINIs. You have all the time in the world, there's no enrage. EDIT: Just finished this fight in story mode, if done correctly, your healing companion can survive facetanking the GEMINI clones long enough. Is it lvl 50?
  23. A bit less damage with buffed self-healing. As FotM as before.
  24. I hope you guys know this whole FP is soloable... on Master Mode.
