You realize people have been saying this since the game was released, right? I mean, I remember reading sentences just like that over 2 years ago. There is literally no reason to be optimistic about PvP in this game. You only play swtor PvP if you find it fun as is; y'all should know better by now, honestly.

Honestly, I think your solution would have to include 1600+ as well, just because most people will accept the fact that they won't be in the top 3 and won't bother attempting to do so. If you open it up to a slightly broader base of players, then you might have something going for it. You can be 99.99% sure that this will happen.

I didn't miss the point. I don't necessarily agree with you on it, but that doesn't even matter. Their Dev team is literally not going to put that much effort into it. They wouldn't do it for 1600+, let alone for less than 100 players. If you think otherwise, then you haven't been around since release. If you have been, then you're overly optimistic.

This Dev team is not going to "waste" the resources to make unique armor sets to keep 96 people happy. You'd have better luck asking them to make sets for 1600+, but you're not going to get them to do that either. I came back to this game after not playing it for 2 years, and the Dev team is acting the same way they were back when I quit. PvP in this game is an afterthought, nothing more. It doesn't matter how much fun you or anyone else finds it to be, because their Dev team legitimately does not care.

Hey all. I haven't played this game since a couple months after its release, when Battlemaster gear was in gamble boxes, they pulled back ranked PvP the night before it was suppose to be released and The Fat Man was a server. I'm obviously a bit out of touch. I would appreciate if some of you folks could give me a quick update as to what the scene looks like: What's the best PvP server nowadays? What's class balance looking like? How's the ranked scene? Are games popping often? How's the population look? I'd also appreciate if you guys could tell me how each class is doing PvP wise. The only class I never touched were ops/scoundrels, since they were nerfed due to the fact that "people were leaving the game due to groups of operatives 1-shotting them". I'm not looking to roll the FoTM, but I would like to know what's in a good place and what is not. Thanks!

Good luck guys, I've given up on this thread. After listening to that recent interview, where the guy said that classes are mostly balanced and PvP is in a good state, there's no way mercs are ever going to get the real changes they need to be viable. This dev team is completely incompetent.
