  1. Amazing, you have an entire day's worth of experience, everything you say is valid. Maybe you should file a ticket in game to tell the devs how much you like the game
  2. 350 xp over 6 minutes is worthless. Space combat is great at lower levels for xp, but the xp does not scale. A level 40 space mission played the first time yields just as much xp as a level 15, but at level 40, it's not worth the time.
  3. It's same with pvp armor, I assumed it was so you couldn't take the mods out and just throw them into oranges, but I don't know for sure.
  4. The spoiler is for what planet the class chain ends on, doesn't give anything away except that
  5. So you're saying you got picked off by a 20, so? Do you expect expertise to make you immortal? Would you have won if you were at 40%? I'm more concerned about who put you down to 20%, since they made a larger contribution.
  6. If you have 10% expertise and getting killed by greys...you're bad. Simple as that. Since hitting 50 I have never lost a 1v1 fight against a non 50. I have more skills, full talent tree, better consumeables, and expertise to top it all off. Even if I didn't use my skills, and was having a auto attack 1 v 1 against a 10 I would still win. Gear stat increases are applied after bolster, so better gear=better stats. Do you really think it's possible for a lvl 10's gear to complete with a 50s, let alone expertise?
  7. I don't know what you guys are talking about, we got the speeder emote fix! This is the one we've been waiting for. To quote: This about sums it up, remember when we were all asking for this fix? Thank god we got it.
  8. Have you looked at the patch notes? Interns. Christmas was on a Sunday this year...a SUNDAY. Most companies didn't even give Monday off, and they didn't just release a game. The SWTOR team didn't take 2 weeks off...they took a month off. From the moment the last beta ended up till now they have had no real improvements to this game, just focusing on the stupidest and most minor of bugs to fix. God, people who think that Bioware deserves a month off for Christmas need to understand life out of high school is different. They had roughly a million people playing, yes that warrents some overtime. They got greedy over Christmas sales and released the game early, with no support (oh, I forgot our oh-so-useful CS droids that auto close all tickets).
  9. more like you lose 100-200 hp for a .1% chance to hit 2-3k higher, should mention that the 1-200 hp is permanent while the .1% is activated. Epic relics are terrible atm.
  10. Wait...wha...huh? You could use the "common sense" check for your math. Do you think 8 hours is 25% of a week? let me help you out. 4% != 4, it = .04, and the monthly sub fee has no relation to time lost. 4% of a month is how much is being lost to maintenance, and it's normal for a mmo to have weekly downtime. What's truely astounding is you managed to figure out the correct answer, 4%, then made up some weird math to get something incredibly wrong
  11. Bioware did not give TOR as a favor, they did not spend the last few years making this game as a gift to the world. They SOLD us this game, we all had to pay for it, and during the most important month of the game, they say "nah, F U guys, we're taking a break". Checking Dev tracker there is only 2-3 posts per day, how can we have community managers who aren't talking to the community? Bioware employees don't need to be rocked to sleep. They know they are ignoring the community and they don't care.
  12. What an idiotic comment. EGA was not a gift, it was part of pre-order. What the guy said is correct, you can't have a major release then take the next 3 weeks off, which is basically what they did. They left the interns so we could get critical bug fixes like baby names in credits and emotes on speeders though. They chose the release date, if they planned on taking a month off for Christmas they should have released it Jan 20th.
  13. You're referring to the "warning" that came nearly a week after the bans? That 100% of the community read because they check the forums? You also mention this stand bioware took. The stand they took against something that wasn't against the EULA. Even if the people who got banned were getting rich (note: plenty of other ways to make money more efficiently) why would that be a bannable offense? Bioware put the chest in a place anyone could go to, didn't put a guard there, and instead of fixing this "serious" issue, they just started throwing out bans. No mention of ilum chests 1.0.2, if it's not serious enough to correct then why are they banning?
