  1. Another Agent mission with invisible rifle in cutscenes when playing as a merc: [The Scorpio Sanctions] on Belsavis. Specifically, the prison lab cutscene and the Cabal/Scorpio scene (Which is also in a lab, kinda? Anywhere with labs and fighting on that chain!).
  2. Playing the Agent Origin Story as a Merc - in [Thieves and Liars] on Taris, at Ki Sazen's base there were a couple of cutscenes where I had an invisible rifle. All of the others so far have correctly displayed a pistol instead.
  3. ****************************** BEGIN ENCRYPTED TRANSMISSION ****************************************** Many thanks Ms. Woods, I look forward to further communication from Czerka, and am impressed that Mr. Blys himself will be reviewing my application. 4. ********************************** BEGIN ENCRYPTED TRANSMISSION **************************************** W/R/T JOB POSTING FOR "Security Officer" Czerka Corp. CZ-198 Please find below my responses to your initial questionnaire: 1. Please tell us a little about yourself. Why do you want to be a part of the Czerka family? Having worked for both Imperial Intelligence and the SIS, and finding both of them frankly lacking in entreprenurial skills, I have found my interest drawn away from the military and more toward the commercial arena. I read a profile of Rasmus Blys in CQ while waiting at AestheTec for my quarterly appearance refresh, and I found his and Czerka's interests aligned quite neatly with my own. I would be proud to work among such titans of industry. 2. At Czerka, we pride ourselves on our accomplishments. Please name three of your accomplishments that you are most proud of. (Please do not include family milestones such as marriages or the birth of your children.) As many of my achievements in my previous roles remain classified, I beg your patience with the level of allusion below. Should you require additional clarification or further details I can furnish them to a Czerka representative with the correct clearance level. Participated in a [REDACTED] on [REDACTED] leading to the unfortunate destruction of [REDACTED] and the dissolution of [REDACTED] but preservation of self and crew. Revealed the duplicity of [REDACTED] and defeated him, with collateral damages estimated in the low [REDACTED]. Proved leadership skills by assembling a crew including a gun-for-hire, a scientist, an archaeologist, a former diplomatic envoy, an assassin droid, a second generation Imperial Agent and a factotum / bucket of bolts that is beneath mention (except as a status symbol). All members of my team are unflinchingly loyal and each of them may be found to have some use within Czerka. 3. How did you go about achieving the accomplishments above. Would you say you would do "whatever it takes" for success? I would rather say that failure is not an option. I have deep reserves of determination, combined with an instinctive ability to use the right tool for the task. My skills of persuasion are far higher in person than in a job application, and these have furnished me with opportunities that I have not been afraid to embrace. I am an expert interrogator, a crack shot, handy with a blade, and have (with my colleague Dr Lokin) developed an extremely effective new form of corrosive grenade (patent pending). 4. Would you say you have a strong moral compass? Do you think this could get in the way of your job, should you be asked to do something...questionable? I feel that excessive consideration of morality often leads to missed opportunities and regret. My morals are as flexible as the wrist on my throwing arm. 5. You are about to enjoy our wide variety of complimentary cocktails and snacks, when you notice that your esteemed colleague's newest experiment is likely to break out of their confines while you are gone. How would you handle this situation? I would query the esteem attributed to a colleague with such lax security considerations. In order to teach this colleague a lesson, I would leave him in the laboratory with his experiment, short out the automatic doors, slice the alarm system and let nature take its course. I would, however, leave a holocam running in the room so that no valuable research from the interaction would be lost. Should you require any further information or wish to discuss the role further, you can reach me through the holofrequency noted in my resumé (attached). For the sake of both of our security, I would ask that you use the third encryption key I have provided to you for all such communications. Thank you for your consideration, Djuna Malaprop. 5. Yeah, I know about what happens later in the storyline - I was just baffled at the lack of XP. I really enjoyed the whole encounter, and wasn't expecting a reward beyond some XP. No biggie anyway, only flagged it as a "just in case" thing.
  6. Hey there, I did this mission today on my trooper, got the mail from Sgt. Jaxo, used the attached item, went to Coruscant, found the apartment.... Thing is...there were no rewards, not even a single point of XP...which felt a bit off. I didn't check the mission rewards in the log after I got the mission, so if this is me being a muppet and there are none, feel free to close the thread! Just a bit Cheers. (ps - if it helps, the mission complete window was blank except for the name of the mission)
  7. There was another thread about this...and because I can be hellaciously bad at jumping, it made me slightly nervous about the Arcanum. Since then I've done it twice, once with a friend, and again last night, solo. There was one part that I found tricky, not in a dying sense, but in a timing sense. We ended up laughing ourselves silly as I kept missing the mark, but once I got over laughing I made it across okay. (For those familiar, it's the last jump in the all-around-the-room place, you just fall on to the floor of the room, so it's no biggie). Last night I was joking about using Fraps to record my sure-to-be-a-failure solo run. I fell to my doom all of once. I was a bit disappointed. I had planned on editing it into an epic fail video with a House of Pain soundtrack for the amusement of my guildies. Seriously, I am not a good jumper. Here are some tips: For smaller hops, walk and jump. There is one spot in there that you can overshoot if you run up to it (that's where I went wrong last night). For wider gaps use Rocket Boost (if you have it) for a bit of extra insurance...you don't *need* it and if the animation puts you off knowing when to jump it can be counter-productive. I didn't use it at all last night for that reason. Apart from that, the best advice I can give is to persevere, and try to laugh instead of getting frustrated - it helps, honestly. I still have a few more toons to run through it, and I'm a LOT more confident now.
  8. Oh noes Please may we have the good doctor's chortle reinstated asap? Did those other mean and nasty Hutts insist on a laryngectomy when they heard of his actions on Makeb? Is there a way to reverse the procedure? Should we all chip in some creds for the creation and application of synthetic vocal chords in order that we might once more enjoy the rumbling belly-laugh of that eminent scientist? Pretty please?
  9. The missions are for skill level 401-450 - so you need to do a mission in the 48-50 bracket that's yellow or green to hit 401 and make them visible. Worked like that for me anyway.
  10. Found this in the Help Center: http://www.swtor.com/support/helpcenter/6776 "Do I need to be a subscriber to receive my Cartel Coins when the Free-to-Play option becomes available? The Cartel Coins that are visible in your Ledger now will be granted to you when the Free-to-Play option becomes available as long as you have active game time on your account at that time. This game time could be from an ongoing subscription, from a Game Time card, part of the 30 days free that come with the purchase of Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ or have been awarded to your account as part of a Customer Service action." That seems to be a little bit less ambiguous. Not much joy there for the OP, however.
  11. Yep, if you abandon the acquisitions mission and retake it (in Nar Shaddaa), you'll get all the items you already collected back in your inventory. I had to do that yesterday for the Rakata Eating Utensils. I dunno if you'll get to keep the parts of the tuning apparatus though, I already had the whole thing. You must have a ton of tokens of enrichment from all those boxes though - silver lining?
  12. I was kind of hoping they'd add the Cathar - it's a nice reminder of KOTOR (Juhani). I'd love to see the Voss playable at some stage too. I know that they're "differently colored humanoids" as well, but they're interesting, and unique to SWTOR.
  13. I'm happy as long as there are options on the table for those who want to move. I don't think LC is all that dead in comparison to some other servers, but it will become that way fairly quickly if transfers are offered from it. I think the best option is the one that has been presented most frequently in the thread: Offer the choice between a RP-PVE server and a PvP server as destinations, and allow the individual player / guild to make the choice for themselves. I do realize that this may cause issues for players from other servers who have only been offered a single destination option, but most fair-minded players out there will recognize that because of the ruleset, there is a need for "special" treatment for the RP-PvP community in this case.
  14. *cough* It's actually TL;DR *cough* You were saying?
