  1. Some people are really great at PvE but suck at PvP (like me); it would be a little unfair if the outcome of a Light Side/Dark Side choice in a group was dependent not on the random roll of the dice but in who can beat to a pulp who the fastest.
  2. I'd say no, if just because using a touch-screen to do space combat would be a massive pain.
  3. It's an ability that is actually called Leap of Faith and has the effect of instantly pulling a friendly target to your location.
  4. The biggest problem with this suggestion would be needing to have entirely separate storylines implemented for every class that revolves around their defection to the other side. For example:
  5. I find it really cumbersome to constantly open and close the GTN and my Crew Skill window to try and see if a schematic that's listed at a great price on the GTN is one that I've already learned or not. Is there any way for a schematic to be listed as "Already Learned" on the tooltip menu so we can know at a glance if we already have it or not?
  6. Jedi as a whole need way, way less chest pieces that have hoods on them. I really, really miss looking at my hair.
  7. BUMPing in the hopes of getting more people to support this idea.
  8. I really, really wanted to shove my lightsaber into his face to shut him up when I was finishing up Act 1 on my Jedi Knight. Dramatic as hell moments leading up to the final battle of the act, and he doesn't shut up in the least about dusting my bedroom or eating healthy while away... It was silly at first, but it really, really, gets annoying after a while.
  9. While I like Flashpoints as they are, I do think it would be kinda cool if there were a couple like The Esseles/Black Talon that were heavy on the story aspect and were designed around interacting with your companion characters, perhaps as a way of making sure their gear was up to date or as an alternate means of increasing their affection with you (without having to constantly buy them gifts or risk dieing in story missions and quests because they're not your tank or healer companion).
  10. That, or someone's a fan of the Phantasy Star games.
  11. This, or just give Republic players access to the hoodless robes already available to Imperial players. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=208957
  12. Isn't this exactly why Orange-quality gear was created? So you could wear something you liked the look of regardless of what level you were, by updating the mods in it?
  13. I completely agree with this. I ran into this exact problem on Tatooine a while back, where a whole guild full of Imperial players decided to go hunting Republic players by flagging them for PvP by getting caught in their AoE abilities.' It was quite a while and several repair bills before they were finally driven away by the NPCs guarding the speeder NPC before I was able to unflag for PvP and go back to what I was trying to do.
  14. I'd just be happy if you could change the lighting in your room in the Defender to something other than neon yellow... something preferably easier on the eyes.
  15. I would like this as well. Sometimes, the look of the hilt doesn't match up to the look of the icon for the weapon, making it hard to tell if I'll like the look of one of the hilts before buying it. I've had instances where there were two lightsabers with the exact same icon that had vastly different models in game, so looking at the icons is not a viable option.
  16. I agree with this, with an adjustment: Red, Yellow, Green, and Blue should be the most common colors. In addition to all 4 colors being available through Artifice, Red would be available on all sabers that have a Dark Side requirement, Green and Blue would be on all sabers that have a Light Side requirement, and Yellow would be on all sabers that don't have a Light or Dark Side requirement. Orange, Purple, Cyan, and Pink should be available at every level of Artifice, and only from Artifice, as you level the profession. Black, White, and all of the two-tone colors (like Black-Red and Black-Blue) should only be available from Artifice, and at the highest crafting skill level.
  17. Just as the title says. When players were shown preview images of Jedi Knights, only one of them ever had a hood (the second-stage Jedi Sentinel in the Jedi Knight progression video). Guardians and Sentinels were almost always shown wearing robes that had the hood pulled back, and for the longest time, that's what we expected when we finally went to try and get those pieces of gear. However, from the moment you leave Tython till you finish Act 3, near every single piece of gear, fully modable or not, has a hood on it. The only one I could ever find was the Aspiring Knight's Vest, a level 11 fully modable piece of Medium Armor. While the reason for this change is something that doesn't really matter at this point (since this is what we're stuck with), I would like to request to the developers that more of the hoodless chest piece armor, that are already available in game to players on the Imperial side, be added to the Republic side so that Jedi Knight players can enjoy them as well (and taking modable gear from Troopers and Smugglers should not be an answer).
  18. This idea is totally cool. I'm all for this! Would love to have both my Sage and my Guardian fight together as a kick-*** Jedi duo.
  19. I'm very glad I didn't make it to this so quickly. It sounds like a horror story to solo and I'm glad it's getting attention.
  20. Uh crap... seriously? Are we seriously gonna bring this same "the devs favor X faction!!1!" bullsh~t into SWTOR?
  21. And people think Synthweaving is a waste of time. The Jedi Initiate's gear looks pretty kick-***, it's fully modable, and dirt cheap to make.
  22. I hated that so much about other games. There were armor sets that I really liked the look of, but once something came out that had better stats, I had to shelf the armor I liked in order to get the most up-to-date stuff. SWTOR's answer is by far my favorite.
  23. Mustn't cry... mustn't cry... There is no emotion, there is peace...
  24. http://www.torhead.com/item/7CuT6Xg http://www.torhead.com/item/afIDQrg http://www.torhead.com/item/cp0158B Any insight on if these chest pieces have hoods up on them or not?
