  1. Get rid of a few of those points in arsenal. putting points in the unload and a few other u can do without. I would only go up to tracer missle....thats the only point id use past the second row/

take these points and put them in warden and critcial effeciency. Healing crits a big. Alot of people dont realize what a big thing it is/ A normal heal of 2300 can crit for 4000+.

even in pvp,,,hybrid specs will mean heat is always an issue. Especially if your going to be spamming tracer missle. Id move a couple things around to make sure i have improved vents/

  2. Ive done HM BT now like 10-15 times and it seems to be something ill try to do daily. Being forced to go through all the cut scenes over and over is so brutal and boring at this point. Even with spacebar half of BT is getting through all that.

I generaly liked all the story involved when leveling up, but does it really make sense in Daily flashpoints? Or should there be an option to skip? Maybe leader could choose to skip all scenes (obv would not get social points or light/dark) if the party agrees. I never mind if someone wants to see all the scenes, espcially when they havent done the flashpoint. So for this,,all members must agree. Fair way to do it.

just a thought, the fact that people are going to do BT even hundreds of times, it just doesnt make sense to make the group have every cut scene every time they do it.....give the option to skip. Increase fun factor.

  3. it is one of the best set bonuses. I had it for quite some time now and it is just totally awesome for our healing capabilities. Shure the shorter cd on emergency scan is nice, but what really makes it great is the healing scan reduced cd..... .soo very good. Just look at the bonuses healing scan provides :

    Armor buff

    Hot

and the best one : reduced cost of Rapid scan

    very good bonus indeed

im dying to get it now. Forgot all about the reduced rapid scan.

  4. nobody has it? 3 seconds less on emergency is such a decrease. Healing scan cd also cut in half which is crazy. So your two fastest casts you will be able to cast way more often.

If someone does have the 4-piece maybe they could say something about how it effects heat management and rotations.

  5. I think there is a happy medium,,,if they just added a couple great craftable items for each class, that would be good enough. Make one or two items 126-130. Items that are a little above t1 but not as good as the steps above that. Right now craftable items are really only for people gearing up till 50. I dont get what they are thinking with this.
  6. Every crafting profession should have 1 or 2 purple items that are important to the game. The mats should be expensive and hard to get but each proffesion should be able to make something thats needed by anyone in-game (yes even end-game players).

Currently there is zero reason to craft anything. The t1 gear is better than anything that can be crafted. Commendations daily/ect can also get you items that are better than anything that can be crafted. What is bioware thinking?

This is a problem. There needs to be special items that people can save for or aspire to get. There is no reason to seek out this or that proffession at this point. Pretty bad i would say.

  7. didnt see another post you made,,,people telling you that you need all those abilities is just wrong especially for pve. For hardmode flashpoints 98% of your time is healing. Only exception is i generally will throw in a death from above on trash or on bosses with enrage timers. Even power shot i rarely use in flashpoints as healer. Someone telling you that you need missle blast/fusion/flamthrower/unload/rail shot is just wrong. Hell you should never use unload/rail as healer. Whats the point.

Operations you need attack abilities even less. Karagas palace i think the only thing i did was death from above. Zero point to keeping other attack skills in your bar.

Even for dailies i use those two attacks,,thats it. I use blizz.

I put thermal and concussion in bottom bar and just click if needed.

  8. If you want to go one bar you can. I do. I keep some attacks on the bottom bar but i dont use them often. I just do pve though. My only two attacks i keep in bar are Death from above and Powershot. I keep those in slot 1 and 2. Healing abilities i keep from 3-8..then leave shield..electricute for the last few. I also make sure my supercharge is easy access and next to my main spamming finger.

if you pvp alot this wouldnt work. But for pve if your focusing mostly on FP and operations this is fine.

    good luck

  9. I was against a dungeon finder until yesterday. What changed my mind was a group we had doing hardmode directive 7. We started and did the first boss and then a guy leaves. It took forever literally to replace this person. Leaving a group hurts the other players just tooo much. Dungeon finder would solve this.

After the first person left we took over an hour trying to replace them in gen chat. We found someone and then they didnt have the mission or something and left. We spent another 30min and just gave up,,,moved onto something else. Simply b/c someone left the group we spent an 1.5 hrs and still didnt get a group again. Dungeon finder would be an easy solution to this. One person (even if disconnected whatever) shouldnt have this kind of impact on groups.

  10. "patches dont fix anything" Really? The last patch was a pretty great one. My fps on ilum and fleet increased by like 30% and i have zero ability delay. Not to mention the 50 other bugs they fixed.

For the rest of your post,,so you arent even done leveling and you quit? Good job. You didnt even get to the good stuff. Im enjoying flashpoints and ive done one operation at karagas palace which was fun. The rest of your post is just bla bla bla.

Personally i think the game has serious upside. Im having more fun here than ive had in years raiding in WOW. bioware obviously is not Sony and its clear they will not be as unresponsive as Sony was with swg. Im praying BIoware stays true to its vision and NOT change certain things that will make it more like WOW. This is the only big thing im worried about.

quiters quit. Especially lame when they really didnt give it a try. Complete every flashpoint and raid and have a full set up artifact raiding gear then give your opinions. Giving up now is just sad and i feel srry for you.

    and over 15bux? really?

  11. People don't understand heat system is fundamentally flawed for a healer.

A sorcerer has the same regen regardless of its current force left, meaning he can spam heavy heals for a long period of time if need be and then go on less heavy heals after the storm and have 0 penalty.

A merc can't do that, you MUST space out your big heals regardless of the situation. See the core difference here, it's our ressource system that dictates our healing as opposed to what the situations requires, and we can't adapt to it because our ressource doesn't allow to, you have to space out your big heals or you'll overheat.

You have one pattern of healing as merc and that's it, which is 1 big heal, 1 small heal, 1 big heal, etc... you can't adapt to the situation. A sorc has no limitation of the sort, you can do 20 big heals if you need and then 20 small heals to regen.

Wrong. So wrong. Are we all playing the same game?

  12. if that's the case, i'd like to see some videos if you ever make one, as I've said from the beginning there could be something that I'm doing wrong, but the guides still don't help in heavy raid damage.

spamming healing scan is a quick way to overheat with a 1.3s cast time.

honestly I think alacrity should just assist in venting heat like in the beta @ one point. and it would fix everything I'm referring to.

it also doesn't matter what I think we all know bioware isn't going to cater to me, however if GZ posted here I would be curious to hear the metrics on the heals, if he says they are there then this thread would be over. And if bounty hunters receive a buff to heals anytime in the future then you'll know that I was correct.. they go strictly by the numbers when it comes to this sort of thing.

In a operation boss ill generally use supercharge/healing scan several times during high damage. Heat can certainly be a concern if you arent always aware of it. One mechanic i do is i never use rapid or healing scan to top off players. If a player is 85% health or more, I only use rapid shots, kolto missles. This makes a huge difference in overall heat management. If health goes under 85% or so thats when i start spaming rapid, healing emergency scan.

I rarely overheat even with all the supercharge/healing scan i do.

    good luck!

  13. I do dailies as bodyguard everyday on ilum. I group up for pois strat but thats it. I use blizz. The key to Blizz is getting him gear. Spend 200k and get best you can. Also watch the stats your building. Aim/endurance then tanking stats. They make craftable pistal thats easy to get...124 purple, maybe its 126.

Once geared i really just send him in,,make sure he collects the agro then heal him. I throw in death from above and an occassional power shot but thats it.

  14. We did 8man karrags palace with 2 bh heals today. No wipes. It could be your groups or maybe something you dont understand. Supercharg gas is key (spam healing scan once you activate). One thing i have noticed is good tanks ussually means ez heals. If damage gets too spread out because of squishy tanks, bh heals has a really hard time.

Also dps play a big factor,,,,ive noticed alot of dps simply keep attacking before the tank or give the tank zero time to get agro. This also spreads the damage out and makes it tough for bh/
