That's exactly what I did. I went 3/3 Inner Strength and 2/2 Mental Longevity. After that I went and worked on the Seer tree. As others have said, make sure you have the right companion for the job while leveling. Qyzen Fess is great for solo leveling, just remember to heal him. Zenith looks great for those groups were you'll have a tank and want more DPS. I to plan on leveling as a sage all the way to 50, and from what I saw in beta, it should be a lot easier the previous MMO's as a healing spec.

Really the only two things I want are: 1) Proper raid frames that give me the information that I want in a clear and concise manner. Grid was very, very good for this. It allowed me to customize how the information was presented to me. Debufffs were clearly shown, and I could filter out the ones I could do nothing about, or show them if it was something that couldn't be cleansed (TOC:HM) and I had to heal through it. I don't need to see what buffs each player has because it doesn't effect how I'm healing them. 2) A proper mouseover macro system. It's much easier as a healer to be able to just bind keys/mouse buttons to what I want to cast and cast it. Clique was a great addon for this. Sure, I guess I could just click, then select whatever heal I want, but come on, have MMO's not progressed past that? Call me lazy if you want, but it's how I feel about the issue.

Trying to see what's up with SR on twitter and I keep getting Over Capacity screen. First time I've seen that, but then again, I'm really new to twitter...

Just going to play devils advocate here. I read that as "Up to 5 days of early access" to mean I, and everyone else that pre-orders will get to play up to 5 days early as long as our servers don't blow their cookies, we have no major development bugs/glitches and we don't have to roll back the servers. First I heard about the first come first served was when a guildie told me a few weeks ago. Sure, it's my own fault that I didn't bother following this site like a hawk and dig threw the posts to find the ones from SR explaining this. Also, I guess it is my own fault that I don't subscribe to twitter, and his feed in particular, to find out how this whole release was being handled. Trust me, I was in the camp of "Shut the hell up ya cry babies", but a few people have made very well thought out posts regarding this that have led me to believe that BW could have handled this release a whole lot better then they did.

I think people underestimate the geek factor and the devotion of the typical Star Wars fan. These people can make a hardened jihadist looking like a crying school girl. Come Dec. 20th, the login servers are going to get hammered regardless of EGA. And I'm not talking about 12:01, I'm talking all day continuously. Don't think the majority of non-preorders won't be trying to get in that day? Then add in us pre-orderers that still want to login and play, and you've got a recipe for destruction.

I'm in the same boat. My own fault as I wasn't following the pre-order stuff as close as I should have. I was under the impression that it would be order the game early and you would get early access. I waited until I could get into beta and give the game a spin to see if it was something I would enjoy, as so many of the MMO's released in the last 5 years have been such a disappointment. If they are this worried about overloading the servers with so few people getting in on the first day, I'm very worried come the 20th. The servers are going to get beat like redheaded stepchildren on that day. More so then they are in the next week. Sharding is a mostly just for pealing off players into a new instance when the current instance gets overloaded. It really helps alleviate the problem of too many players, too few spawns. If you were part of the BC release it was a complete nightmare in HFP until people leveled threw it. Blizzards answer for Wrath was to give us two starter zones, same for cata. It does make sense, but it really should be a 24hr operation. The invites should be going out every hour on the hour. The knocking off at 3pm is pretty weird IMHO.

Very well written. I don't really care about when I start, but the point I quoted above is what is up setting. In my case, my guild, as small as it is, consists of people I've played WoW and other games with for well over 7 years. Not having us all start at the same time, as a guild, is what's going to be so hard. But, we shall wait and see what happens. Maybe we'll all be in by tomorrow and kicking some sith ***.

Very well said. Judging by all the crying, moaning and ************ threads already, they were 100% right not to say when EGA would start for people. There only mistake in my opinion so far was to say people would get in based on when they ordered. They shouldn't have even said that as people are holding they're breath while throwing a temper tantrum.
