  1. they are simply taking away Dark Charge from Deception Assassins. BW is modifying the Induction talent to require Surging Charge to be active so the buff procs. So they are taking away all our survivability, and not compensating us for it AT ALL. No DPS buff, no defense buff, NOTHING. and that's the major problem.
  2. Agreed. It's horrible what they are doing to Assassins now. If they go through with it, I'm out of here too, I already have my doubts about certain things ingame, but this just tops everything.
  3. I'm simply just going to reply to you with this thread http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=264578 stop ruining your own class.
  4. I agree with OP , this nerf has to stop and jelly Darkness Assassins have to stop trying to ruin their own class just because of difference. Deception NEEDS Dark Charge to survive in PvP, I've already explained why in other threads. If BW takes that away, I'm out of here.
  5. I for one like the PvP gear (it's not like OMGVTFBBQMINDBLOWING or anything, it's just okay), but I agree that the PvE gear, looks pretty bad... I'd also like options to choose from, that'd be the best, though the pictures OP linked are pretty dull, we should have more like dark, demonic stuff.
  6. I can agree with this. I'd be okay with dropping Dark Charge if we'd have more armor and/or defense, since we ARE a melee class, thus we require more survivability if we lose Dark Charge now. And regarding your Conc Op vs. Dec Assa differences, I've explained the majority of it in one of my earlier comments here, but I can unfold it more and go on about it (I have both a Dec Assa and a Conc Operative.)
  7. why would you worry about that? Deception does get oneshot killed in PvP without Dark Charge, but that shouldn't be an issue in PvE as you don't tank at all. If you get aggro and get hit by a mob, that's the tanks fault, not yours/your gears fault. If your worrying about soloing, don't you'll be perfectly fine with Xalek/Khem Vhal or Talos.
  8. Yes, that's exactly why we NEED dark charge. It compensates the fact that we use light armor.
  9. You can exchange WZ commendtions for mercenary comms at the PvP vendor called Jensen on the Fleet (combat sector ofc) ypu get 10 merc for every 30 WZ commendation that u exchange. But dont forget, both merc and WZ commendations cap out at 1000. Yes, centurion AND champion gear is equippable by anyone at lvl 50. The only gear that has a Valor requirement is Battlemaster gear, which is the highest tier PvP gear
  10. Ah, now it's clear to me SOMEBODY has some issues... No, I dont't use a shield generator, I use a focus. And I still roll dark charge. The reason is *drumroll* no survivability at all in surging or lightning. You probably have a messed up vision about how u imagine the assassin to be. Explain it, rather than avoiding it and saying everybodu's wrong. At the moment it seema as if you want to make assassins exactly the same as Conc Operatives... Why? Why would u want to duplicate a class in the game?? No, the concept behind assassins isn't the "stealthy, sneaky predator who lurks invisibly, deals big burst damage, and should be stomped on and squished as soon as he pops out" What the assassin really is is an agile warrior. It's a fast paced gamestyle, who don't depend on stealth (and at the moment you can't even depend on stealth as, it isn't as useful as u think, if we'd be hanging out in stealth as much as YOU think, we would be constantly at the bottom of the stats in WZs, since the only class that utilizes stealth and depends on it is the operative. Guess why? It's because they are very squishy, BUT they do significantly more damage than we do, especially in burst damage, this way it's balanced out. And do you know what makes up for our default lower PvP damage? Yup. Survivability. How do we achieve this? Dark Charge. Take away dark charge, you take away survivability too. What do you get? No survivability, probably no utility, and lower damage than the operative. And guess what? The operatives have been QQing about their bad utility in WZ for quite a time now. Imagine the operative with even lower damage. Yup, that's what deception assassins are gonna be. And w t f are u talking about assassins usefulness?? Assassins are one of the most useful classes in WZs atm. Especially Huttball. Now this would ruin it, as it'd be prettymuch operative nr. 2 (the only thing they can do is pick off stray targets around the WZ who aren't near a group. Don't even get me started on operatives playing the objective, just imagine an operative who's trying to cap a huttball.)
