  1. To be honest did you honestly think they were gonna give subscribers new content RIGHT AFTER a expansion, they even clarified that it was gonna be SUBSCRIBER REWARDS. Name one fraking MMO that gives new ops/dungeons, pvp maps or new content as a SUBSCRIBER REWARD, no seriously name one. The rewards were meh I'd give the QQer's that, and the delay for chapter 10 sucks even more, but you know what at least we're not playing WoW with the amount of time between MoP and WoD, then WoD and Legion. FF14 ARR is probably the only MMO on the market that actually puts out content at a steady pace.
  2. Hmmm last time I checked you get the expansions free for subbing in Swtor (the funny thing is you don't even have to BUY swtor, unlike other MMO's except GW2), $14.99 x 12 months = $179.88. While a typical MMO expansion is $40 (no idea where you're getting $20 from) with a $14.99 sub, that's $219.88 a year for a typical MMO when a expansion is released. I don't know where you learned how to do math.....but it does look like Swtor is actually the cheapest deal you can get for subbing in a MMO compared to any other MMOs that has a sub (lets be honest the free 2 play option blows with Swtor). The closes MMO that comes close to being the cheapest sub base would be FF14 ARR, since it costs around $12.99 a month, but if you buy the game (now) it's $20 for game, $40 for expansion so that will net you $215 for a year.
  3. Honestly the butthutt people are showing is getting beyond annoying, no where did they state they were going to give us NEW CONTENT, they said they were going to GIVE SUBSCRIBERS REWARDS for subbing. It's like people hear one thing then somehow it turns into something completely different /insertjackiechanface Yes the announcement was underwhelming but honestly it could have been a lot worse, if you expected something amazing like new content right after a FRAKING EXPANSION, then blame yourself for being so daft, not Bioware.
  4. Yea I ended up 2-12 the other day, the only 2 wins happened when I switched to my sage healer. The difference between Imps and Pubs is night and day, like literally watch a match and you can see why Imps dominate, they move as a group and call incs.
  5. Yea only happens if they're team is clueless and doesn't peel for them or guard them
  6. They won't admit it sadly, all they care about is playing fotm classes and wins.
  7. Just today (the past few hours), 0-8 as Pub, 2-1 as Imp. Sorry but the only time Pubs win on Harb is if you have Imp people queued up on their Pub alts. I don't know about you but that "win" ratio for Pub is kinda crappy.
  8. The sad thing is people will say "well just target the tank", you're not gonna do jack to a tank with a healer glued to him, "well target the healer", you're not gonna do jack **** to a healer when a tank is throwing out taunts and guard.
  9. Pubs still suck in none ranked, went 2-13 last night.....that's losing 85% of the matches I did yesterday. Today I'm 0-3 which is why even bother playing Pub atm when you lose literally majority of the time cause every scrub and their mom decided to roll a Imp cause they want that extra 20 people on that fleet population board. It's also getting to the point that every damn match vs Imps they are using stims out the arse, in fact I've yet to be in a match the past two weeks that the majority of Imps didn't have a stim buff, while I'm lucky if I have two people with stims on my team. BW really ****** up the population by letting people transfer over for only 90 CM coins. /end my salty rant
  10. BW really needs to look at their own leaderboards. I know a lot of people want more maps/modes in pvp but there needs some class tweeks before ANYTHING else, it's kinda ridiculous how crappy Slingers and Mercs have been in pvp compared to PT's and Sorcs the past few seasons. They need to go back to the paper beats rock system cause it's ridiculous how the top two classes can pretty much beat beat any class thrown at them. I know some people have this mentality of "it's a L2p issue" but it's not, take an equally geared/skilled Merc or Slinger vs a equally skilled/geared PT or Sorc, guaranteed 9 out of 10 times the PT's and Sorcs will come out on top.
  11. Not a bad theory but it's always gonna be which side has the most fotm re rollers, take a look at majority of the imp players, what are they? (PT's and Sorcs). It's the same thing in WoW, which faction has the most fotm class/race or now racial (that's why Alliance are dominating pvp atm)
  12. To put it simple, nerf Pt's and Sorcs. I know some people are gonna say it's a L2P issue (which I'm gonna bet those people are fotm re rollers playing PT's and Sorcs). Never have I seen total unbalance in terms of classes in pvp than in Swtor, except maybe when Frost Mages were ridiculous in WoW. How long have PT's and Sorcs been top dog in pvp? 3 or 4 seasons?. The sad thing is if they did care they wouldn't have had this drastic one sided affair for this long.
  13. That's actually a valid point and can be backed up by the leaderboards, which are plagued by Sorcs and PTs (although Sages look like they kept up with Sorc players this season). It also doesn't surprise me since most imps roll fotm classes.
  14. It wouldn't be hard or anything, I mean people can faceroll WoWs system. It would just teach the simple basics of pvp like focus fire a target, interrupt, stun, kill healer asap if there is no guard ect ect, hell they can just program a dummy to simulate all of those that I listed. If people can't pass something that easy, why even bother pvping? why bother hindering your team cause you don't care about learning basics like "don't stand in fire" in a pve scenario. If it alienates people from pvp then that's a plus (hopefully it will weed out the window lickers) cause if people can't take the time to learn basics (think like a tutorial you're first time playing swtor) then why bother pvp. I don't mind losing if people actually attempt at whats being said, but if people constantly ignore healers/marked targets even when they are marked or said in chat, that makes that person ignorant cause they can't follow a simple command.
  15. The amount of bads/window lickers/mouth breathers are at a all time high in this game. There needs to be some sort of requirement that players must pass (sort of like WoWs dungeon thing) before they can even do pvp. It's almost pointless to even mark targets in pvp now cause people will just "yolo/do w/e ever they want", I don't mind losing but if people are just gonna frak around and ignore my help trying to help the team achieve victory, please get the frak out of pvp and go back playing a single player game. If you don't want to take the effort to learn how to pvp or follow a simple "kill this guy first command", you're ruining the enjoyment of pvp which is at a all time low as a pub player, I know that can happen on imp side but as a pub player I just wanna scream at the daft teammates around me. If somehow you're new to swtor or MMO pvp in general (cause lets face it the pvp meta has been the same in every MMO the last 11 years) there's pvp guides on this forum, there's youtube, there's dulfy guides there's in game help from other players, there's literally no reason why you should give no effort in pvp. I don't consider myself to be an amazing pvper, more like average if not slightly below average but I do know the basics of pvp so no I'm not gonna pretend I'm a god tier pvper.
