sorc dps is still viable in ranked. It honestly doesn't seem much different from 4.0, other than perhaps a bit less survivability due to the nerfs. I think they're where they should be, strong, but not stupidly op

why are ppl posting 5k dps, he literally said not to post if it's a record that will be broken. Most classes hit 5k records in 4.0.....

I'm east coast and play harb. That coupled with ****** Internet, I usually play at 140-250 ping. While it does screw me over every once in awhile with big spikes, it isn't something that deters me from ranked or anything. A bad pvper is a bad pvper, no matter what their ping is. So I say come to harb, it's lit, we even get ranked pops

I hate to tell you but you're gonna hate playing pub side, there are a lot of bad players. I'd honestly reccomend just getting a level 60 token of the GTN or cartel store and rolling a imp character if you don't wanna level. But as for people who might do fours, people in guilds such as Lukewarm Tauntauns, Sick Twisted Individuals, Caprica's Objective Academy, Flappy Flamingos, Visual AIDS, and The Mafia (I'm probably forgetting a few) are the people that you want to whisper. Because of this long last season, Overwatch, and other reasons, a lot of the good pvpers left. That being said, there are still some who will q 4s if you can get teams together. All the good pvpers are imp side tho a lot of us have pub characters as well. Do you have any imp side?

okay I'm not really sure what they've said about 8v8 except no *** u, but here's what I think you need to get across to Musco: many of the 4s players have left the game they are not going to come back, they are bored of fours The only way to get them back: 8v8 ranked-->something that's "new" and exciting. sooooo Bioware wants to make money, keeping the pvpers happy and subbed does make them a (small) amount of money. Here's what I don't understand. They got rid of 8v8 to get us to do arenas, yes I understand But shouldn't we have a say in what we do? Like give us the option, arena or 8v8 (I'm saying keep them both). Right now, the only way to do 4s is to go on fleet and spam/whisper queue for fours. So it's not like there's enough participation where you can just q and know you'll get a pop. So with 8v8 it would be the same-->spam/whisper q 8v8. If there aren't enough people interested, see if people are down for fours. I just don't understand Bioware's stupidity. it would make them money and keep the players happy. so pls see if you can get this into musco's thick skull, that is if you can pull him away from overwatch lmao anyway, thanks for doing this!

I play a madness sorc and hatred sin so I'll tell you what I'm running. For sorc, I run 2889 power, 1470 crit, and 411 alacrity. I believe that alacrity is pretty useless unless you're healing so I try to keep it on the lower side. That being said, I ran a high alac (1.3k) build in regs and could pull some pretty crazy numbers, but having that much in solos is pointless because you lose a lot of burst and there's not nearly as much cleave. So yeah, it depends what you're doing but if you're running solos as a sorc, I suggest you run what I have 'cause it will give you the most burst. As for sin, run whatever krea suggests on his guide, his is actually really good. And I know nothing about warrior so on that note I'm out. Hope this was helpful

DPS sorcs are fine they don't need a nerf. Sorc healing does. Juggs don't need a nerf, they're honestly not hard to kill if you can focus and eat through their dcds. The main problem is that there are certain classes that need a buff because they can't do ranked (I'm thinking operative and merc healing, actually just mercs in general). But yeah, don't think that's gonna happen anytime soon 'cause Bioware is currently pretending like the PVP community does not exist.

I hope you know some of the best players on harb are Aussie and APAC so your wining is invalid.

play hatred, it's more popular in ranked right now bc it has more survivability thanks to the self-heals. Also learn your class before you queue ranked and learn your role in ranked. As a sin you should be using your taunts to protect your teamates, as well as knockback, stun, etc. Try to start the match by running in and sapping one of the players your team isn't going to be focusing first. Also learn when to use deflection and shroud. Shroud is good for stopping tech and force attacks while deflection is ranged and melee. So you never want to pop shroud when you have a mara on you. And never pop the two at once. Also your best friend will be phasewalk-->force cloak-->heal to full with seethe. Then you can run back and help your team mates out in combat. But yeah, as a ranked player I can tell you that there is nothing more annoying than having a player come in who doesn't know what they're doing and throwing the match for you. So if you're receiving these comments that's probably why. The season should last 3 months so you have plenty of time, go play regs, duel people, and learn your class and once you've mastered it then come back to solos. But until then please stay out of ranked:D
