You can unlock the mastered status with all the free ships, you just need to earn it. When you buy the cartel ships you're buying two things, the ability to not have to earn the mastered status and the ability to have a different style ship.

Umm I'm not entirely sure what you're saying but I'll take a guess. I believe you mean you wish to know what ship killed you. If this is so there is an option to target the last person that hit you, at the top right of your screen will be a picture of them. If you mean solely the leader board alone you aren't taking into consideration you can change ship mid match.

You have to take into consideration that multiple matches are going at the same time, time of day, match making statistic, and drop outs are variables of your question. It would be difficult to say more beyond the population has went up since the content (at least temporary), so it's likely just many matches going off at once.

I personally prefer the current system, it allows for a wider variety of events. Without having a deadline they are able to design larger events which would have been scrapped if they were on a tight schedule.

Strafing seems like it does nothing, but it does do a lot. It can used while moving and while at a complete stop. But doesn't truly become that useful unless you're complete stopped. S+W: you go straight up slowly S+A: you move to the left slowly S+D: you move to the right slowly S+S: you go straight down slowly This is extremely useful for killing off the people who hide near walls, such as under the objectives.

That is PVE this is PVP. You can have matches in warzones where there is a team with 4 healers vs a team with all DPS. PVE is totally unrelated in this topic. You forget that this is a game. This isn't ranked matches so forcing people to play a role they do not want even if its the logical thing to do is silly. Anyways if somebody goes with 8 gunships it's nearly impossible for them to win. I rather have them playing what they want. Imagine a person who always play a gunship, playing a scout? He'll likely be crashing into walls and feeding the enemy.

SWG had a huge advantage of having the help from Lucas Arts in the creation of their expansion. Who passed on assets from their flight sims. SWTOR did everything from the ground up, with little to no experience in this type of game play. It's unrealistic to think they'll be at the same level of performance.

Unless you get one of the ship replica, you won't get much for them.

There is one glaring issue with this. People would just sit in front of the turrets to farm the achievement. Thus the enemy gets free points.

Nopes. I've heard of people using racing wheels to play swtor though, so I bet they'll figure it out eventually.

Hit escape and there will be an option to edit the UI. Open the interface and in the drop down menu switch it to the space interface. Once you have that selected you will be able to edit it to how you see fit.
