I think Ortolan doesnt require us to travel to their home world. Some of them live on Hoth. And size isnt a factor since they have Treek and that one Jawa companion, right? They could be light side like the ones who work in the power plants on Hoth or dark side since we met that one 'evil' one in the Binoculars quest line. Max Rebo could be my companion and talk about playing music all the time ha j/k But seriously, I'd love to have an Ortolan as a companion.

You should encounter the same bug on the Republic side (Esseles) as well. It only happens on certain computers. I have two computers in my house. My fiance started playing the game and uses my older computer. It doesnt crash to desktop. New computer with PCIe Nvidia card - crash. Older computer with AGP ATI card - no crash.

Relics are a confusing thing to research with topics referring to bugs and such. I currently have one Ark SA relic and one Dread Guard C Nova relic. I wanted to replace my Nova Dread Guard relic. I still have my matrix cube in inventory of course, but I doubt that is any better than my Nova ha. So, I just want to know if it would be a good idea to equip two Ark Serendipitous Assault relics at the same time? The tool tips lead me to say no since it shares it shares the effect, however I wanted to ask on the forums just to make sure. Now, if they do go well together... is it a bug or working as intended. Thanks for any info.

I would love new class stories to be released... even if it's just one small story. It would give me reason to take multiple same faction characters through Makeb and whatever other planet quests are in the works. I dont need to have new quests if that's the issue... just make the conversation be different and unique. And please let my companions talk to me again... either that or have them at least say they hate me and will be taking several months off lol.

Yeah, I'm quite happy to see the cooldown drop from 30 to 25 minutes. Same thing with the fleet pass... now when I log off to go to sleep and come back the next morning, the fleet pass is a lot closer to being ready. Time to look into those legacy unlocks now as well...

Sounds like good suggestions to me. Simple, yet effective. However, when it comes to defense we do have our deflect ability and that other one for 3 seconds of "invulnerability" and our battle readiness to increase health in an emergency. So, I'd prefer #1 and #3 more if we had to make a choice.

It depends if you want to spoil things a bit and read about your companions that you will meet. Each companion has his/her own skills when it comes to crafting and you can can use that to make a decision.

BW probably doesnt want people to repeat it. It gives off 2 mass manipulation for completing it (at level 55). So glad I never beat the Terror boss at lvl 50 ha. Otherwise people would get 2 mm's every week.

I just do a flashpoint while leveling to get credits or planet comms. They have those daily missions at the priority mission terminal and they weekly searching for allies. However, if you want to play solo, that sounds like a nice alternative. The thing is, they wouldnt stay 'daily' very long as you would out level them? Unless they make the daily area instanced and level with you?

I always support this ideas when they pop up. I will also add that the Flashpoint courier should also have a different color icon above their head.

I agree. 15 seconds is not enough. Who even meditates for 15 seconds at a time? Or after a long fight, I'm going to sit in my chair to rest... by the time it takes for me to sit and stand back up, I've only sat there for 10 seconds. I dont see the point of sitting in the first place ha.

I have found green enhancements, mods and armorings. I have yet to find any blue or purples. However, the only searching I have done is for the quest. Either way, if we find mods and armorings, then it hurts Cybertech as well.

I'm still hoping for the option to play as a new body type like the tall female Voss. It would be taller than Body Type 3 and thinner. I assume male toons might like the option to play as a tall thin version of themselves as well? Since the body type already exists in game, it shouldnt be too hard to implement. Obviously a height/weight slider bar would be cool as well, but that would be more work.

I see your point. However previewing a weapon, is more so just a nice feature so I can see what the weapon looks like. For example, I could preview a cannon on my Jedi Consular. I see that I like it's looks so I buy it and send it to my commando so he can use it. However, if I preview a color dye on a lore item and it changes the colors to a way that I like, there is no possible character to send that item to since no one can dye it. False hope.

It's time like this when I wish the forum had a poll feature.

Whenever someone posts a suggestion thread about Pod racing or Swoop racing, I will agree that they should be added to the game. I would love that as a daily or even make them like warzones. Complete 4 races daily and a win counts as two.

Another story from the same day for me. This time I queued for a flashpoint on my Jugg tank. I got tossed into Mando SM already in progress and not that far along. That always scares me. The group is attacking the trash so I join in. I keep tanking the trash here and there until we get to the boss with the dogs. The entire way there I didn't get a single heal from the healer. That was fishy. I attack the boss and away we go. My health is dropping. There are no heals. I type in chat "heals?" and I get a couple of weak heals thrown at me. Thankfully we survive, although one dps might have died. The sniper DPS (who didn't die for sure) then inspected the healer and found that she wasnt using her healing canister. She was still in dps mode. I asked "are you specced heals" and she says "no." We asked why she queued as heals then. Answer "because it made me". I inform her that the game lets you queue as both because she can heals or dps. Answer "sweet". I don't think she understood what I meant. Sniper calls her a noob and finally gets her to switch to healing canister and we are on our way. We get to the Republic boarding party. I say to kill the Knight first. Sniper or someone else put's a mark on them for me. I attack and tank the other 3 bosses, slowly watching my health go down and down with no heals. At this point I wasn't going to beg for heals in the chat. After I die, the other 3 bosses find a new body to fire at - the "healer". She dies. Then the other dps dies, while the Sniper dps lives on and survives for us to win. I type something like "tanking works best when they are healed" Sniper says "healers work best when they are not dpsing" He starts a vote kick, and the healer is voted out. "have fun in hell" she types before she is officially booted out. New healer phases in and the rest goes down without a problem.

I queued for a FP on my commando healer. We got Cademimu SM. People didnt seem to care about keeping threat off me as we rolled through it. People generally seemed to know where to go. However the tank stepped into the orange cirle and got trapped in the orange box. I thought that might be a bad sign, however we kept going alright and got the boss killed since it was SM. It wasnt until we got to the giant lift that takes you down towards the boss when I got worried again. Both the tank and a dps walked off the ledge. "Oops" the tank says. I made a mental note to remind them off the fire before the boss fight began. "Stay out the fire" or something like that. Fight begins, they seem to be staying in the center and dont move much away from the one rocket coming down. I'm tossing heals but the tank is getting pounded because he got too close to the fire. "Move" I type into the chat. And the tank dies from the fire. "damn" the tank says. So we keep going as I heal both dps, they seem to be following my lead when I move. However the one dps is still dangerously close to the fire. And the boss does a knockback pushing him into the fire to his death. Now it's me on the other dps, he seems to know what he is doing, taking damage like a tank and I'm healing him well. However bad luck strikes me and he gets knocked into the fire and takes a lot of damage and I'm unable to heal him from the boss. Now it's just me with about 20k of health to go on the boss. About what seems like an eternity later, I kill the boss. I was very impressed with myself! lol I revive the dps that died last and I go to click on the terminal to end the FP. "help" the tank says. After the tank get's revived from the dps, they all tell him that was pretty impressive and such. "wow, you took out 22k of his health!" the tank says. It was certainly an experience to remember.

So, I have been wondering what is everyone's preferred voice chat program? Teamspeak? Vent? Mumble? At first I was against downloading any of them. I have since given in and installed both Teamspeak and Mumble. I still dont have my microphone plugged in, but at least I can hear people explain the boss tactics in new lvl 55 ops that I'm not familiar with. However, one group insisted on having vent for EV HM. I refused to download it and didnt join them obviously. Another person wanted vent for TC HM. I tried to tell them that melee dps (me) have it pretty simple and I've killed him before without voice, but other tank was stubborn and said no anyway. I swear since I gave in and downloaded both TS and Mumble, I find more people using Vent. Ugh. Obviously I could download all 3, but I'm just trying to have less apps installed on my SSD than I need. I will uninstall whichever one you guys say is the least popular haha.

Maybe the balance issue will get brought up by these new advanced class leaders BW is trying to create? Oh, that would be nice.

We can just be annoyed with BW for allowing the color to be previewed and not actually changed. They like giving us false hope, right? Turning off the preview for restricted items is the way to go... or of course don't restrict anything.

I forgot about this thread. It still is a wonderful idea. Guilds could even use them as a meeting place?
