  1. Now this is obviously not true. I have been in battles with more than 16 people. I just get .5 fps.
  2. If you have been in a large scale battle(IE 40+ people), what has your fps been? Has anyone been in a large scale battle and maintained a good fps(60+)? And if so, what are your computer specs. I have noticed that the game runs fine on most computers until you get a lot of players in the area and want to see what level of computer can handle that.
  3. This sort of thing is why support for addons is important. There are a hundred little things the devs are inevitably going to forget about the mod creators can add in to the game.
  4. WoW has more end game raid content than SWTOR. The content is also much more challenging.
  5. People always say this and it shows most people clearly don't understand how game development works. Bioware can hire additional people to work on fixing bugs. Instead, they pay people to create new content instead.
  6. They need to optimize the game in environments with large numbers of players first. I know I drop to 1-5 fps if more than 10 players are nearby.
  7. Blizzard distinguished themselves in generally providing very little info on patches and when they would be released.
  8. People are complaining to Bioware in hopes that it is a software issue. If its a hardware issue, then thats pretty much a guaranteed unsub. Im not going to spend several hundred dollars just for one game.
  9. People who are currently happy with the game will be complaining to Bioware about the game changes the company is making to woo back all those customers that left.
  10. I agree. Often times in order for me to get from one area of the map to another, I have to go through one narrow pass(and it may take several minutes of traveling through this narrow pass). It makes the world feel small. I mean, did I really defeat all of the Republic forces on the planet in this tiny patch of land?
  11. Who cares if the game actually is open world if it feels open world?
  12. This will heavily discourage people from playing the game. Say I tell my friend about how great swtor is, he says he would like to play with me. I tell him he can't because my server is full. Customer lost.
  13. It can't. If the game could handle large scale battles they wouldn't have limited raids and warzones to 8 people.
  14. Here you go. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=168604 Now please make good on your promise.
  15. What exactly would a warzone need for you to describe it as "pug friendly"? I consider something pug friendly if it allows for individuals to make contributions without requiring communication with allies. I think you can achieve this on Alderaan and Void Star(you can cap nodes/harass enemies and contribute). No, you won't win by yourself, but it would be absurb if you could 1 v 8. Now, Huttball, I will agree with you on. Huttball isn't pug friendly. It requires communication to set up passes and provide an offense and defense. And god forbid you don't have a healer on your team. The team who happens to have a healer will win almost any pug v pug battle. If your allies don't cooperate, then you can't contribute to the battle. A premade with voice chat has an absurd advantage in huttball because they can plan and talk to each other.
  16. I think the real issue is that most players are lazy(biochems included). They don't want to have to buy and keep track of consumables. Biochems don't have to, so they use the awesome consumables while everyone else doesn't.
  17. I think it would be better to say that all other professions are useless. If you nerf biochem then all professions will just be equally useless.
  18. Which is why it is a bad idea to give people medals in the first place. You can't have a computer accurately calculate how effective a player is. People should be rewarded exclusive on how well the team does.
  19. Non biochems can buy the same med packs from vendors...
  20. Rakata medpacks heals for the exact same amount as the blue medpacks you can buy from vendors.
