  1. I've had my sub open since launch, just haven't played in maybe a month. Decided to give it a go after 1.2 and I was actually very pleased. I love that I can customize my UI now. All the performance problems with the engine seemed to be resolved. Combat seems to be more balanced as I can go into a WZ on my Shadow and not get rofflestomped anymore.
  2. The issue is that not everyone likes quest for hours on end to level. There should be more options for leveling through PvP. I think it would break it up nicely if I could spend a day leveling with PvP quests and the next day with story line quests.
  3. Do you guys think repeatable quests for PvP would be a good idea?
  4. But I've found like other players that I'm hitting a wall in my 30's. I could understand hitting a wall in my 40's but not 30's. I think one thing that would make it a little more bearable is if the WZ quests weren't daily and basically repeatable. I know WAR had a similar system to this and it just gives people another option of leveling. Is there a downside to this I'm not seeing? Personally, I would rather just get in a group and grind mobs all day long ala old school DAoC, but it seems everything is geared towards questing these days. Other than that I'm still enjoying the game regardless of my hate for questing.
  5. No I'm not. I assumed he meant mousing over the actual person... I honestly don't understand some things about WoW and the generation it spawned.
  6. Why even click on the target when you can click the group icon/window? I mean, did people stand still in WoW?
  7. I honestly don't care one way or the other. I know I'm not from this generation of MMO's. I think, some of us, just prefer things that are challenging like before WoW. It's a competitive sport to me. I remember a few years back when people in DAoC had honor and integrity on the battle field I **** you not. There was one guy on my server, a mid warrior named Akdave. 90% of enemy players would leave this guy alone in pvp because they knew he was a respectful soloer. Now it seems like people just look for any advantage they can find and it takes away from it. IMO.
  8. I guess I'm not really understanding it.
  9. So I am understanding it right, this thread is about simplifying gameplay?
  10. If I'm understanding right, that seems like it makes it way to easy. When I play a healer (cleric) I expect it to be a workout. I have to watch 7 peoples health, I have to cure them, sometimes I have to start healing them before they're taking damage. While this is going on I have to keep an eye on the MA (focus) to see if the need help with CC (stuns/debuffs). It's a really fast paced busy type of play and that's why I enjoyed it. The last thing I would want to do is simplify it.
  11. From my experience you need at least 4 gbs of ram preferably more.
  12. I wouldn't mind resizing and moving my qbs. I'm used to tiny qbs that I can stack.
  13. So this is how I would play a caster/healer in DAoC - http://i1082.photobucket.com/albums/j374/Furadi/zzzzzzheal.jpg The red arrow obviously points to the group window. If I'm healing I'm watching that for health and for the bars to change colors indicating different cures ore demezzes I might need. To heal I would just click the name in the group window and use the appropriate spell on the quick bar with my left hand. How much is this different from what you guys are talking about?
