  1. So run in with zero rage only to make someone use their knockback? How does that make sense? Basically your running in to someone, all the while they are unloading on you because you cant do anything but run towards them, then they knock you back, root you, and by the time you can actually use charge, you're half dead or worse. Yep, you are the typical Marauder that gets obliterated in every Warzone.

Well considering that you are the only Marauder who doesnt have any issues with being knocked around in Warzones, please allow the other 99.9% of the rest of the community read my post without having to hear your elitist attitude. You will argue for the sake of arguing. I can easily tell thats they type of person you are, so just stay out of my thread please.
  3. Any attack can proc blood frenzy. Nothing guarantee's it. I will say that 90% of the time, Battering Assault proc's blood frenzy. If it doesnt? Then Gore usually finishes the job. If it STILL hasnt proc'd? Then I simply use Ravage first. I have never, not once, not had Blood Frenzy active after doing any one of those three things. Not once.
  4. No, I do not. I use BA to gain rage, then I use gore to increase armor pen, then I use Force Scream(If Blood Frenzy has activated) followed by Ravage. I can get off a full Ravage and a Force scream and Gore runs out JUST after the last hit from Ravage goes off. Those two abilities will do a MINIMUM 7k damage, and a maximum of 12K+ if I use my adrenal, relic and Bloodthirst. Using Massacre over Ravage while gore is up is foolish considering the target is rooted for the duration. If they happen to interrupt Ravage then by all means, pop off Massacre, but never in place of Ravage while gore is up.
  5. Also, like I said before. Operatives and Assassin's can remove themselves from combat for 10 seconds. Knockback CD is 20-25 seconds. They now take zero damage while getting back to their target, or in a safe place. We can vanish for 4 seconds and remain in combat. Assassin's can also use Force Pull, to pull the target to them as soon as they are knocked back. Closing the gap the moment it was created, basically nullifying the knock back to begin with. They can also use Creeping Terror, stunning the target for 2 seconds, as well as Death Field which not only deals damage and has a 30 meter range, but also heals the Assassin for 1% of the damage it deals. Please tell me how Deadly Sabre competes with that?
  6. There is no right time to use it. If you run in and then get knocked back, sweet! Now I charge! Oh crap, his friend is there, boom knocked back again, now what? Nothing, you die. We have exactly 1 ranged ability and thats deadly throw, which hits for like 1k crit if im lucky, on a 12 second cooldown. You mean to tell me that Assassin and Operatives only have 1 ranged ability and its on a 12 second cooldown and hits like a feather? I think not.
  7. No I gore, Ravage, if Ravage gets interrupted, I Force scream, then I use Battering Assault again, and yes, Gore is back up again.

  9. The only thing they can do against ravage to not be hit by it is force camo, otherwise they are going to have to sit there and take it(Carnage Tree roots the target during Ravage). If they break it, now comes Force Choke, which they cannot break, followed by another Gore and Force Scream, and if they try and run I root them with Deadly Throw(another spec'd talent). Also lets not forget that I can use Frenzy and unload up to 8+ Massacre's, all hitting like a truck with Gore up, all within a matter of seconds(.5 second GCD), it can literally be spammed.
  10. Here is the difference- Those classes also have ranged abilities that they can use while they are knocked back. We do not. We have an extreme disadvantage once we are knocked back because all we can do is slowly run back to that person, all the while being pummled by them(and their knockback CD is becoming available again, especially if their knockback is coupled with the stun they can spec into). You are comparing apples and oranges here. A Marauder knocked back and stunned is a fish out of water. An Operative can stun the enemy and an assassin can do the same thing from range. We cannot. We need to be in range to use our stun(Force Choke). Plus an Operative and an Assassin can remove themselves from combat and go into stealth. While we can also do this, ours is for a very short time and we stay in combat while doing so.
  11. I have yet to see an Annihilation Marauder outperform me in a WZ. The only time is if he has his own healer with him. I also tear them down before their DoTs can even do much to me. If you DoT me for 3-5k over 10 seconds, i'll do the same amount in 2 seconds. My Gore+Scream is guaranteed 3500+ crit followed by a Ravage that you cant run from which crits for 1800+/2200+/3k+ per hit(thats first hit/second hit/third hit), followd by a force choke, then its Deadly Throw for the win. Annihilation spec is the spec people go for because its safe. It makes them feel good to know they are getting healed a little. I would rather have them dead before any heals are needed, and thats usually what happens.
  12. In a perfect world, yes. You also dont get knock backed in that world as well, but this is not that world. Players are smart, especially once they get to about valor rank 40. I RARELY get anything else off after charging someone before im CC'd or knocked back. Maybe its me, maybe im just that unlucky, but more and more players are ready for it. Which is why we dont need damage immunity, we need immunity to knockbacks and pulls for a brief period. How is if fair for someone to be able to just walk away from your smash area as a Rage Marauder or Jugg? You just spent 7-10 seconds setting that up, and now you just wasted it because they can simply just walk away from it.
  13. Surge past 75% is useless. I wouldn't say stack surge. Also you're talking about these fights against certain classes like that ever happens that way. There is hardly any 1v1 in this game. In a perfect world, yes, thing can happen that way. But you dont think people know that your setting them up for a big smash? Any good player will range you or stun you so that your smash either doesnt hit them, or the timer of the 100% crit is over. If this game were about 1v1 Marauder's would be the best in the entire game, period. But as it stands, we are one of, if not the worst Warzone class because of the huge difference between using your talents and abilities on 1 person, vs using them on multiple people, sometimes at the same time. And you are not, by any means 2 shotting anyone at level 50. Not even the fresh 50 wearing all greens. Its not happening.
  14. You would rather have an ability that puts distance between you and your target? Are you serious? What we need is more abilities to stay ON our target. And I also call BS on you getting BOTH bleeds off. You have time to force charge someone, then use a global cooldown, and strike them 3 times to get 3 stacks of Deadly Sabre before they realize they have a Marauder on them and they should knock you back? Either your fighting people who are complete idiots or you're lying. Any good Sorc will knock you back the second you charge them. There is no way your charging, putting down all your bleeds, and attacking through 3 GC's before they realize you're there and knock you back.
  15. And exactly how many dots can you get off before your knocked back? Don't forget that anyone who can knock you back can also heal themselves, so while your trying to get back to them, they are full health again. You are talking about a completely different issue with Marauders in general when it comes to being knocked back off a ledge or something.   16. Massacre hits 2 times. I have crit 2500x2 on Massacre plus the Ataru form strike for almost 2k. Not sure where you see this as weak compared to Annihilate especially considering you can spam it because of the low rage cost. If you pop berserk and have full rage you can burn someone from full HP to 0 within seconds using nothing but Massacre.
  17. Not entirely true. If you use Gore and get knocked back, use force camouflage and scream when in range, since blood frenzy will probably be up from the Battering Assault you do before Gore. Most of the time they will knock you back after using Battering assault, in which case that's fine because force camo and your right back on them with 8 Rage, Gore then go to town. I do a ton of damage as carnage, but it's the 1 spec of the 3 that takes the most patience and skill to play because of everything we have to do in order to achieve great results. Stick with it, im telling you when the stars align and you pop a force scream for 5500, you're gonna feel pretty good
  18. Ok, so I've been trying to figure out the best solution to the issue of being knocked around and pulled around like a rag doll in War zones. Those of you who play this class know exactly what i'm talking about. While I agree to a point that a force push would be nice or our own knock-back, it doesn't really fit our class play style. However, keeping the play style of staying on our foes as much as possible here is my solution. New Skill: Hard as Nails- The Marauder becomes hard as nails, making him immune to knock-backs or pull's. This ability is an instant cast, and last for 5 seconds. The cool down on this ability is 20 seconds. May be used while incompacitated. If not a new skill, then maybe add this ability to the end of our Force Charge, meaning you charge in, and for the next 4-5 seconds you cannot be knocked back or pulled. Anything to avoid what is currently happening to us in Warzones, specifically Huttball. The part some might disagree on is the may be used while incompacitated. This is tricky, but necessary because a lot of times you charge someone and immediately get choked, or stunned and they wait until that's almost over before they push or knock you back. This would allow us to use this while being stunned so that we can avoid the evident knock-back coming our way. I am currently a Rank 51 Valor Marauder in full Champion gear, and I think our class holds it's own, but the knock-backs and pull's make us completely useless in a lot of instances in War zones. I also feel that no other class suffers from this more then we do because of our lack of ranged abilities. Once we are knocked away, if we have used our charge, we are at a complete disadvantage that no other class faces. I am all about balance in this game, and I think this would round things out a bit from a Marauder standpoint. Your thoughts?
