  1. I just love how the fanboys are in here jumping all over those with legit complaints. God forbid you give a suggestion to improve quality of life.
  2. I'd like to see an end to light or dark side gear period. It is a stupid, stupid idea. Alignment should not be tied to gear in any way. It should only affect story.
  3. Dark side corruption isn't necessarily a good thing. Sith with it look HORRIBLE. They turn all pepto pink.
  4. The OP's post is idiotic. You don't have an issue so it doesn't exist? Give me a bloody break. Some people's complaints are legit ones, stop being a blind fanboy and trying to pretend problems don't exist. Some of these bugs are hardly "little." That said, ToR isn't bad....it's got issues and I think it needed more time in beta, but it could be worse. Customer service needs vast improvement though.
  5. It's a bloody hideous UI. And there is no excuse for it really. Like I've said before, Rift didn't launch with addons and their UI is a million times better than ToR's. You'd think Bioware would learn from their competition. Ugh...
  6. Probably not. If they fix some of the issues though, I might consider coming back. My main issues: Bad customer service Horrible UI and no addons to help fix it. No macro support Way too linear questing and not enough class quests Alignment system is terrible (alignment should NOT be tied with gear in any way.)
  7. God, this crap again. Macros don't play the game for you. You still need to actually think. And it's not a matter of absolutely needing them to play. It's a matter of efficiency. And yes, I do want a 3rd party UI because the default UI is a bloody abomination. Either fix the base UI or allow addons so we can fix it ourselves. There is really no excuse for this terrible UI. Rift launched without addons and their default UI is 1000x better.
  8. This. ToR's UI is so terrible it's not even funny. I mean come on....Rift didn't have addons at launch either and its base UI is 1000x better than ToR's. There is really no excuse.
  9. H.Rag pre-nerf was equal to Sunwell difficulty.
  10. Random question.....I thought there were supposed to be 3 raids available at launch. But I only see info on Eternity Vault. So there's just EV? What happened to the other ones? BS. Anyone who has done heroic rag will disagree with you. And if you haven't done it (pre-nerf) then you can't bloody talk. Unless you are talking about normal modes in WoW. Because yes, those are certainly faceroll.
  11. Instead of running around ************ at people for their use of questionable language maybe the GMs can better use their time by answering tickets like these.
  12. I pretty much agree with most of what OP says. I'm going to hang on for a bit longer, but I might go on a "vacation" for a while until some of these issues are fixed.
  13. I really don't understand mmo players and their need to have only ONE mmo. You can play both you know. -_- GW2 is a different type of MMO and caters to a different niche than ToR.
  14. If it seems like it has a good, solid plot? Sure. GW2 shares lore in common with GW1 and not much else....so unless it's the lore you absolutely hated then I can't really see a reason to not give it a shot. But to each his own I suppose.
  15. Why be so narrowminded? As I already explained it's a totally different game. Unless there are things about the actual game you dislike. For instance there is no holy trinity in GW2, some people love playing healers so I imagine they would not want to play GW2. That's a legit reason probably. But just blindly hating or dismissing something because "it's a sequel" or it's "F2P" seems rather ridiculous.
  16. It's B2P, not F2P. And I really wish people would stop with the nonsensical comments like this.
  17. Because it's set in the same world setting/lore as GW1 only a few hundred years later. GW1 is a coop rpg and not an MMO at all. GW2 is an true MMO with a fully persistent world. However, they are changing things up quite a bit....it's not your traditional mmo, so if that's the type of mmo you like you won't like GW2. I am GREATLY looking forward to it as a breath of fresh air in this stale genre. But I do plan on keeping one subscription mmo along side it. Just haven't decided which sub mmo to choose....
  18. Uh, I did Wintergrasp before cap, Tol Barad and AV and I can run things just fine. My computer isn't that great either. Maybe your friend's pc isn't as good as he thinks it is.
  19. See this was the case for me before I started playing the game. Personal stories? Great! I was very excited and planned on rolling multiple alts. After leveling one character I have totally changed my mind. Maybe, *maybe* I'll level one more character jedi side. But that's it. And this is coming from someone who IS an altoholic. The class stories are great. That's what keeps me playing. But they make up a minority of the questing and the side quests are boring. The questing is super linear and there are no multiple zones for leveling. Bioware needs to add more leveling zones and more class quests.
  20. Adding story fluff doesn't break the paradigm of MMO design. ToR is still a traditional mmo like WoW and Rift.
  21. No you aren't right. You are being overly dramatic. These things will not hurt ToR.
  22. Totally agree. The romance options are severely lacking. Imho most of the companions should be romanceable (obviously droids and really, really alien looking ones would not be). Huge shame this isn't the case.
  23. Romance options in general are kind of lacking. They need to offer the ability to romance almost all companions (obviously there are a few that are too weird for that like the droids or the really, really alien looking ones like Broonmark) regardless of gender or light/dark side. For instance my Sith Warrior prefers Jaesa to Vette, but I can only court her if I'm dark side. I don't play dark side, I play neutral to light side. But a light side Jaesa is not romancable (at least I don't think it's possible). Why are there such restrictions? It's disappointing not to have more choices.
  24. THIS. This is such a huge issue with me. For a game emphasizing story it's doing a really poor job of it. I don't know what kind of crack they were smoking when they decided to tie gear with alignment. Alignment should in NO WAY be tied to gear. The only thing it should affect is your character's story and how npcs interact with you due to the decisions you make. It's incredibly counterproductive with the current system. It just encourages people to either blindly hit blue or red. And saying "but you can play the way you want and do diplomacy to grind out points later on" is a complete **** way of justifying this horrible system. So don't even try to bring that up.
