I'm also in the application process of this guild and I have to say that the people are SO much fun. I've been looking for a community like this to join for a long time. If you're looking for a community based guild with mature, funny, and loyal members then look no further. I'm glad I found these guys.

I know exactly what you mean about immersion breaking. I think everyone will probably agree though that Shoulder Cannon needs to be changed somehow. You want immersion breaking? My BH is female and I wear clothing, not bulky armor. Where is this giant "Cannon" coming from? it just appears 6 inches off my character's shoulder. That IMO is WORSE than a magically appearing missile launcher. They need to change it. Someone suggested making it a little droid that follows you instead of a shoulder mounted predator cannon. I suggested making it Boba Fett knee dart launchers. Anything would be better than how it is now.

It's almost identical. The little launcher looks a little different (worse imo) but overall its the same.

I know what they were going for but its idiotic. This isn't predators online, its Star Wars. These devs need to learn what the word "immersion" means. You cant make something like this for 1/4 of the people in the game and ASSUME that everyone is going to be wearing bulky armor for it to make sense, ESPECIALLY now with adaptive gear. Poor planning.

I'm going by the dev's definition of perks. To THEM (and me) character perks are unlocks that only unlock for that character. I'm done debating the sematics of it with you.

I dont consider them perks because they AREN'T perks. Go log in and look. its a tab called "Perks". Very clearly labeled. But you insist that other legacy unlocks are perks. Does that mean that anything in skills is considered inventory? You make no sense.

Log in and click the character perks tab. anything in THAT tab is a perk. That is what the OP meant when they said "Perks". Twisting words doesn't make you right.

Name a single perk that unlocks account wide. I challenge you.

None, they're an idiotic money sink that costs WAY too much. I did fine before them, I'll do fine without them... When/if I ever resub. 1.3 is a joke.

I'm a casual player and my concern is that everything in the new Legacy Character Perks tab is 100% useless to me. I don't have billions of credits, I think my main is down to 30,000. I understand that some crafters are already billionaires, but for people like me who don't get much time per week to play (and don't want to spend that little amount of time we do have to play crafting or playing the GTN) the rewards for this perk system seem foolish. At what point will I ever have a level 10 character with 40,000 credits to spend on the privilege of paying yet more money to buy speeder training? Its insane! By the time I could afford to buy 90% of these perks I wouldn't need them anymore. I was under the impression that these would work across all legacy characters. That would have actually made sense considering people like myself could settle in and unlock these things at a casual pace over the course of many years (making future plays through more entertaining). I have been a LONG TIME defender of this game. Up until now I have scoffed at naysayers and told many a whiner to go back to WOW. I feel that I have been made a fool. The devs have really let me down on this one. I'm taking a long break from this game now to consider my loyalty to this franchise. I'm sure I'll come back, but it'll probably never be the same. Devs: Please consider changing this system to be for all legacy characters, As-is its silly. Thanks and best of luck to you all.

You pay $15 a month for access to the game, not to be a game developer. And need I remind you that you got a free month? Stop whining.

I feel I should mention that at some point early on they changed the message on the legacy name window to make it more clear. When some people chose their name it didn't list any information whatsoever on the window. Now, myself I messed up on my legacy name because I tried to choose one with a capital letter in the middle of the name like MacGregor (as an example) and it let me take it, only it came out Macgregor. Not very aesthetically pleasing IMO. So yes, some people perfectly well understood what the legacy system was and got screwed anyway.
