Thanks Owen. I was wondering if and how @altenok managed to rectify this but I suppose I'll have to try calling them since emailing won't do.

Not really, I actually don't have any clue whatsoever. The game worked just fine earlier today but as of a couple of hours ago I cannot login due to the above mentioned by @altenokserver error. Is there anything I can do apart from emailing support?

Communication is indeed nice but she didn’t even say thanks for the suggestions and then ignore them as per usual. She actually called his suggestion a no-brainer and got credit from the community for it. On the bright side of things, it was subtle and so on, this game does not lack in writing talent. Merely in the proper utilisation of it.

And we will thank them for it cause they grace us with their attention in the form of well-written replies that seem to be very successful in making people missing the point. More power to the writers!

OK so @JakRoanin said that he wants more references to the origin stories even in the form of mails. He also said that he wants interaction with his companions and even offers companion related story suggestions that actually make a lot of sense. Then @CaitlinSullivan replies only to say that: I) Thanks for your ideas and opinions but there's no need to offer suggestions as they have thought of everything but they are very cognizant. II) Mails are very expensive to implement and require tons of writers, editors, developers, the Pope of Rome, et cetera. III) If something requires resources (please see point II), it has to be generic and not class related, ergo don't you dare expect expensive origin story related mails that only touch a portion of the audience. IV) You can kiss your killable companions goodbye, you won't see them again as the fact of their killability partially informs their decisions. V) They do not have an infinite amount of resources because they are not the Rakata Empire and one needs billions to implement things that used to be this game's standards therefore enjoy your KotOR scenes and aliens. VI) There's no need to worry, the origin stories are not forgotten and won't be because they still mean a lot to us, like the dead still live if we keep remembering them. And then you guys thank Caitlin as she took the time to offer wonderful glimpses behind the curtain and so on. Brilliant.

Indeed, the minimum requirements belong to history atm. People who were playing on low or medium settings till 7.3 cannot play the game as far as I understand and this has to become official in order for people to not feel misled or even cheated. @JackieKo it's also something that potential new players need to be aware of, if any.

This was a solution for those of us who could not get past the initial loading screen, it was not supposed to remedy in-game problems, merely to allow us to actually be in-game. Good luck with your issue sir.

I see. Then that's why my solution won't work for you. The thing is that 7.4 is way more demanding graphicwise therefore I cannot keep playing at very high settings anymore and that is why I couldn't get past the initial loading screen. Deleting the aforementioned files reseted my pre 7.4 settings and I did login but even so I had to go from very high to high which is no big deal in my case as tbh it looks better now with high than before with very high. What I am saying and I really hope I'm wrong and our Broadsword friends can find another solution for you is that one can go from very high to high but there's not many places left to go when one is already at low.

As @TrixxieTrissmentioned yesterday, it would help if you could share some info regarding your computer's specifications. Or even the graphic settings that you were playing with before 7.4.

Delete everything game-related to force the computer to autorun the game with specs that make it playable, if merely deleting client_settings.ini didn't work for you.
