  1. Hello, I think the tittle pretty much sums it up. With such a recycle "event", one must ask. Are really SWTOR dev resources stretched so thin, that this is all you can come up with ?
  2. This is the worst event this game has seen. Even the dumb Casino sink was better.... Do everything over again. Nope. Just nope. I already completed all characters story, many of them multiple times. I won't do that again.
  3. Well, everything is in the title. I think it would really be great to be able to pick which crew skill you want at character creation, rather than a default pre-set. In my humble opinion (I might of course be wrong), this should be rather simple to implement, and wouldn't hurt the game's economy.
  4. Against level sync here too. I want new content, I really enjoyed the new story. But if I go on a lvl 10 planet being 65, I don't want to be dismounted by lowbies mobs and loose time for not. If I go back to that lowbie planet, it's because I have something specific to do there, and want to be able to do exactly that without being distracted by useless stuff. And despite companion being op and such, I don't care: I still have to loose time fighting stuff I should not have to. And for god sake, soloing low World Boss was fun ! To those comparing this to "old" paper RPGs: I doubt that you would have much trouble soloing the level 5 dungeon boss when you're lvl 18 or 20 in DnD, and certainly a lvl 7 kobold would not even touch you unless it does a 20.... Why should it be different here ? It's a grind for power, and that power is taken back with level sync, so it's stupid.
  5. Please, reassure me: you actually don't expect the class to be balanced one day ? You do know that having a class that do slightly better than the others, and this class changes every few months, is a marketing strategy ? If no, let me explain this in two words: most players want to be as powerful as possible, hence, will switch to a class or another when this one is getting buffed to be superior to others. And to follow this idea, you'll need to stuff it. It takes time, and you continue playing on that game and not another.
  6. This was already asked in the past, and BioWare answer was a straight "no", because sex has too many influences on the story.
  7. As a sub who paid since day one with only a minor break to see what the preferred status feels like, there's one thing I would agree with: raise the credit cap. 350k for preferred isn't enough. Raise it to something closer to what the actual weekly pass costs, like 800k. I think, but I'm no expert, this would encourage this commerce a bit more, while still being too low to buy the real expansive stuff, for which they will need credit transfer.
  8. Totally agree, a cosmetic weapon slot would be great!
  9. Hello, A great addition to the list of personnel we have would be seated NPCs. We have plenty of stuff such as chair, couch, stools, and no option to seat the personnel we have there. It sometimes feels quite artificial that everyone is standing, and none sitting. I know some players already suggested tons of other stuff with personnel, like being able to give them emote to accomplish. I understand this might be rather difficult to accomplish. However, releasing personnel in seated position, or even a set composed of a chair / couch and a fixed NPC already seating on it shouldn't be too difficult. Giving us a set of those, that we could either get in packs, cartel market or cartel certificate would be great. Thanks for you time reading, and happy gaming !
  10. Hello, Since update 3.3, Tatooine has seen it's hook limit increase. I'm part of the people who are actually happy that the hook limit was increased, as it allowed me to further the customization of my Stronghold, and render it more lively, mostly by adding personnel. The hook limit was raised from 500 to 900. That's 1.8x more than previously. Tatooine is now, and by far, the biggest stronghold there is in term of hook limit. The increase of 400 hooks limit is almost equivalent to a full Nar Shadaa Stronghold (450 hooks max), and still bigger than Yavin IV, despite the fact that Yavin in term of surface is bigger, and allows for more visitors at once (60 for Yavin, and 50 for Tatooine). However, one could think that witch such a big increase (that's almost double), the devs would actually add some hook points, especially on the high ground where we lack some, but no. And here's the problem: a hook limit increase is a good thing, but a 400 increase without adding any new hooks is a lot, probably too much. What are we supposed to stuff our stronghold with ? Especially those green wall hook, are we supposed to stuff them with dumb trophies and rishi flags ? Seriously ? So please, either diminish the hook limit to something more decent, like 750 hooks like Yavin IV (and no, I'm not there yet), or add some large / centerpiece hook on the high ground of Tatooine.
  11. I would personally love a Ziost stronghold. On the more serious side, I would prefer them to increase the limit of strongholds a player can have. I love my Tatooine one, so there's not a chance I deactivate it. My capital plantet's ones both have some nice themes, so I'm left with Nar Shadaa.... And it's a shame to deactivate Nar Shadaa, is it only for the fact that all rooms are unlocked.
  12. If you have a screen-shot of the chat, actually BioWare do take action. This clearly violates the terms of service and is part of the very rare issues with chat that they take seriously. So yes, you can do something about it, but you have to join a screen-shot, do it immediately, join date and time of the offense, as well as the usual, server, character names, context, which instance you were in etc so they can actually look-up the logs. But you have to be very precise about it. Other stuff that they take action against are names. I recall some french guy on an English speaking server who thought it clever to name his character in french in an extremely offensive manner. He was forced to change name within 24 hours of the report.
  13. Ok thanks, I'll make sure to check friendly nametags are off.
  14. I got: CPU: i7-3720QM (quad cord at 2.6Ghz / Core) RAM: 16GB Bus: 2133Mhz Storage: SSD Graphic Card: nVidia GeForce GTX 680M Screen resolution: 1920:1080 Internet connection: 172Mb/s Down, 14Mb/s Up, ping 32ms (so no, it's not my connection either) While playing PvP, my RAM isn't overcharged, processor is at around 50%, and Graphic card too, with overall temperature not going above 50° As I said previously: it would be very strange that it's my machine. Previous to 3.0, I would be able to play PvP with high settings, shadows, and everything on without any problem. Outside of PvP, I can do flashpoints, operations, starfighter, planets, stronghold, fleet... without any FPS problem. It only happens in PvP
  15. Hi! Whenver entering a Warzone, my FR drops like hell, and it's unplayable. I know my computer isn't faulty, I've tried to change graphic settings and can usually play the game on very high / ultra without trouble. I haven't played much PvP since 3.0, I guess it must have something to do with it. Any advice on how to tweek settings to avoid this problem ? Thanks!
