  1. I would support new challenging solo conent that had raid type difficulty...

See, I don't even know what this means. Part of the raid difficulty is organizing 8/16 other people and you just can't replicate that in solo content, which is why they should never dumb down ops like that.

  2. I am very angry with some people and their maths - they destroy crafting and I need to add some suggestions...pick one and add it in game.

    1) Since we got a house and its accessible by stronghold boards, give us personal vendors so we can create a room inside our house for selling our goods, or at least to be conquest vendors... for conquest stuff. This will also promote housing, it will increase traffic inside homes and also sales for decos..

    2) or FIX GTN so if we add a dark project (for example), NOT to be able sell it under a certain price!

the today market have as it follows...

    3x Rakata mats = 297.000 credits

    6x Alien data cubes = 357000 credits

    3x self perpetuating cell = 93.000 credits

    6x biometric crystals = 78.000 credits

plus the invasion force that it comes about 40.000k or we can easily farm

the costs above, are from the cheapest I could get from server Tomb of fredom Naad.

overall = 825600 credits to buy the materials for a dark project. (plus the 40.000 but I didnt added them)

BUT SOME PEOPLE SELL dark projects for 399.000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It destroyes the makert, there is no point to craft them and sell...

Swtor market is a mess, you cant even call it a market and you cannot promote crafting with systems and people like this.

You have to bring us a solution for the market! Either give us special vendors for the conquests, so someone must visit our homes and buy them from our vendors... or add a kind of a minimum price for these items!

    Do something....

or you could give guild conquest vendors... inside guild strongholds. So you minimize the vendorism in guilds instead of indeviduals... And others can visit guild strongholds and puchase the stuff.

You don't seem to understand how a free market works.

  3. Logically I think one makes the other redundant. I feel that Field Respec is the more flexible of the two and achieves the same results. I didn't imply that they are mutually exclusive. I simply stated that I find the current tool to be a superior system to a blatant ripoff of Blizzard's IP.

You would be correct. I do not heal. Ever. I do not enjoy it. Which is partly why I did make statements explaining that I felt it could have some benefit to other players, but just wouldn't be necessary for me. I can see your point here and would be more than happy to see a feature that provides what you need to overcome this, but since I mostly just switch between tank and dps, it's a feature that I myself do not need and can get by without.

I've always imagined dual-spec working in this game like an addon to field respec. You use the normal field respec ability but then you do a separate action to apply a template which fills in your talent points and populates your action bars.

Sorry if I came off a bit...curt. Dual-spec would help me a lot and I genuinely don't understand people arguing against it...at least as I describe it above.

  4. I prefer the Field Respec option that we currently have over the dual-spec feature WoW had.

I'm not a fan of recycling features from other games just because it worked in the other game for some people. I understand many people were very excited to get dual spec in WoW and it was a great feature, but it still had limitations that we currently do not have in this game because we have a different tool that functions in a way that allows us to quickly and easily reset all of our skill points and redistribute them however we see fit for any of the 3 trees instead of only be able to switch back and forth between 2 of them.

The equipment manager idea would be a nice quality of life addition to SWTOR that I wouldn't mind having though. I tend to find that the equipment managers in other games have led to me forgetting to update the equipment set after getting an upgrade, which can be just as equally frustrating as having to search your inventory for pieces of a second or third set of armor. However, I'm willing to concede that this is probably just my problem and not likely to be the norm for everyone or anyone else.

Why do people consistently argue this? What in the world makes you think "field respec" and "dual-spec" are mutually exclusive? No one anywhere has argued that "field respec" should be removed for "dual-spec".

As for the toolbar idea, I'm not sure it's really needed. When I use my field respec it vacates a few buttons from my toolbars and when I choose new skills I just have to place them in the vacant slots. Your idea here would work best when linked to the dual spec in the same way WoW implemented the features.

Bottom line though, I think the dual spec idea is a step-backwards from what we have right now with the Field Respec. I wouldn't mind the other two features, but I think they would be less effective for myself than they could potentially be for others.

You haven't had to switch from healer to DPS before, have you? while it may only vacate a few item slots, it invalidates the whole bar layout you had. You may still have those base heal abilities, but you certainly don't want them in prominent positions anymore.

  5. Nice attempt at a sidestep, there. Pattern still dictates that "lore" outfits are the "top-shelf" outfits that go for millions on any GTN on any server, at best. Prove me wrong. Thus, I have an actual tab on what the "top-shelf" outfits are, and what needs to be excluded to appease you.

I don't know about your server, but on mine your "pattern" is non-existent. From recent packs, Xoxaan's set, Ajunta Pall's, and Malak's Shadow set go for very cheap whereas the Reaver set or the Temple Guardian set or the Ceremonial Mystic's set goes for quite a lot more. This "pattern" is either cherry-picked data to attempt to support your point or, probably more likely, no data at all and rather just wild speculation based on a few GTN searches.

Ratajack, forget the 350k mark. Since then, I've noticed the real pattern as to what is "top-shelf". If a piece of armor is on the GTN for 350,001, it may exceed my per-determined threshold. But if there are 500 other copies of that same piece on sale for 10,000 credits, then that 350,001 doesn't mean it's highly-desired, anymore.

Yes, Republic SpecForce has pointed out its attempt at a uniform code, but I've pointed out the problems with their attempt. Sure they have an official color and armor type, but that's not quite what I'm aiming for, here. Yet you're telling me to be content with "good enough".

    Op: I want ravioli.

    Nay1: Here's spaghetti, instead.

Op: But, I asked for ravioli.

Nay1: And this is an acceptable alternative. It's noodles.

Op: Maybe so, but it's not ravioli.

Nay2: We have ravioli! It has tomato/meat sauce! And the noodles are long and swirly or straight.

Op: Umm, that sounds like spaghetti.

Nay1: Here you go, shooting down perfectly acceptable alternatives. You're so greedy.

Op: Does ravioli just not exist yet?

Nay1: Sure it does, Nay2 has a perfect example of your ravioli. Accept it or go home.

I don't reject it for no reason, Republic SpecForce's "spaghetti" is not the "ravioli" I'm asking for. I even list out legitimate reasons, but you continue your onslaught anyways.

I have my idea, and I've even fixed it based upon all the input people have provided. However, I'm not giving up enough ground so that the "ravioli" cannot be recognized as such, anymore. I'm sorry if my adamant nature offends you. Your alternatives, your "spaghetti", isn't good enough, so I'm sorry if I'm not going to be a flip-flop about it.

I even mentioned they design an entirely new line of outfits to be used exclusively as guild uniforms. This blows the entire initial idea right out of the water; along with your addiction to "highly-desired" outfits. If you're really not here just to cause trouble, why don't you support and build on that concept, instead?

You really don't seem to understand the difference between being able to do something and actually doing it. Just because someone made spaghetti, farfalle, penne, or fusilli doesn't mean they are unable to make ravioli. Have you considered that perhaps this idea you're personally so fond of is unappealing to the vast majority of people that play this game and is why they have never bothered to do such a thing? Something tells me that concept hasn't crossed your mind because your "pattern" has been to be really self-involved. Its what you want, right?

You have consistently ignored the fact that ANYONE who forms a guild can impose a guild uniform and kick out anyone who doesn't comply. The ability is there, the four tools needed to accomplish this already exist:

    1. The ability to invite people to a guild
    2. The ability to communicate with the people you ginvite to tell them of your policy
    3. The ability to see what people are wearing
    4. The ability to remove someone from your guild who doesn't comply

That is literally all you need to implement your uniform idea, but you insist on the developers spending their time on something specific to you and your desires. Your self-centered mentality even goes further, you go on to say:

I even mentioned they design an entirely new line of outfits to be used exclusively as guild uniforms.

So not only do you think that BW should spend time developing you a guild uniform mechanism, but now you think that they should also make you specific outfits for use as guild uniforms. How many man hours should be spent appeasing you? (Cue the "lots of people I talk to in-game want this!" argument with no proof...certainly none in this thread.)

  6. K so the legacy cargo storage was a nice addition that tbh you should have added AGES ago but well...

now there are a few things about the lcs that I would like to see added.

    1. upgradable to at least 12 bays (I got all 5 bays already and they are filled to the brim with mats. its simply not enough with 5 bays)

Ok, that's an insane amount of mats. That's 39,600 individual items. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but maybe start crafting things instead of hoarding?

  7. Yet no one has come forward with an example of an all-class guild that has done so; perhaps it is not as possible as you like to claim.

Just because no one has done it doesn't mean its impossible. You can absolutely do it right now. Why do you think you couldn't? You've chosen not to do it, that's an entirely different thing.

Don't ask me, I'm trying to appease Ratajack and his utter fixation on the "highly-desired/highly-expensive" outfits. But since he's also obsessed with Revan's stupid outfit, perhaps when I say "highly-desired", I really mean "iconic".

Nooooooo...don't put this back on him, you said:

How doesn't one figure out? It shouldn't be rocket science to go onto the GTN and see what the highest-priced armor sets are.

implying very strongly that anyone with half a brain could figure it out, and yet when I press you on it you have no made it Rattajack's problem. You're the one that made this claim, so why can't you answer these simple questions I posed to the solution you provided as so simply its worth scoffing at someone for not understanding.

  8. 4. More space in Cargo Holds...

Why only allow a player to purchase 4 cargo holds and maintain 5 cargo holds per character? We in Utopian believe that a player should be able to purchase upwards of 10 cargo holds with a varying scale of price for purchase.

With this, we in Utopian believe that a player should also be able to view a condensed view of all items in their cargo hold when compacting. If a player chooses compact, or sort, etc. They shouldn't simply have the items sorted in the individual cargo hold, but in all cargo holds should be condensed and all open spots should appear on the bottom.

Also, make an option to sort by type of gear and name of gear and combined these similar or name matches together in one cargo hold. How is a player supposed to know whether they necessarily have whole sets of pieces or gear if they need to search through 50 trillion items to find possibly a glove or belt, etc. in order to complete sets.

Legacy storage is coming in a few weeks so, problem solved.

    5. In cargo holds, place a tab for credit deposits. I understand that BioWare has established an Escro-Account for Preferred and F2P people; why can't subscribers have something similar. Why must their characters carry all their credits? Allow them to deposit a certain amount in their cargo holds as a type of bank. Allow, i.e. Subscribers to deposit upwards of 2,000,000 credits in account in their cargo hold, Preferred can deposit upwards of 200,000; and F2P when they receive a cargo hold deposit upwards of 75,000 in credits: without any fees to access or use the funds or pull funds from the account.

Yes, this creates another option for repairs. Thus not always requiring a guild to repair their equipment, but doesn't always require a person to have immediate funds on them. They can, out in the world, simply repair if necessary without using the funds they may only to move a character from one part of the map to another via taxi points, etc.

I...don't understand this request. Why? Are you afraid you'll lose your money? There isn't even a way (that I'm aware of) to accidentally throw money away. This request makes no sense at all, there is no benefit to it in the least.

  9. You might know that there is a difference in the 3 tanking classes.

#1 Sins have the best mitgation in most fights. Only fights that need a high defense rating might damage them more than a juggernaut or a powertech. Furthermore sins have a hybrid spec, which offers them 30% dmg reduction against aoe's. That talent is overpowered for most bosses at Palace NM and is also overpowered for Brontes Nm. In addition to that Sins have phasewalk which not only allows them to move quickly but also can be used to neglect bossmechanics. For example at tyrans nm when you got the simplification, the sin just port down to the holocron without taking fall dmg.

#2 The other tanks don't have as much usability as the assasin. Juggernaut has intercede the powertech has his oil slick. Movement also is slower than the assasins phasewalk, force jump costs 1 gcd , the powertech has to use hydraulic override.

#3 The setbonus of the juggernaut tank is a joke especially the 4p setbonus. It increases the shield generated by sonic barrier by 20%. A full 186 bis Juggernaut absorbs 2.3k all 12 seconds due to sonic wall. Thats less than 200dtps. Without the 4p bonus it would be around 2.1k. So the bonus translates into less than 19dtps. While A sin gets 5% more shieldchance + overall dmg reduction increased by 2% ( even elemental + Internal ). Not to mention the uselessnes of the Juggernaut tank 2p setbonus... overall 3 seconds of more def cd's.

#4 Adjust the tank talents and their setbonus so that it matters at least a little. Make them comparable and competable to each other, but dont make them the same.

#5 I dont want a overpowered Def cd, like enrage defense. I mean who would implement another def cd to a tank who already has 4 def cd's while his passive mitgation, his useability and movement abilities are bad?

I think that sins were shafted for quite some time and now they happen to be on the upswing. It happens in an MMO with the constant balancing, but my favorite tank is my sin so I'm glad we're on an upswing. I only really want to touch #4 right now though. Maybe this opinion will be hated, but as a long-time former WoW player, I like the way they do set bonuses here. Instead of trying to come up with new ones for every tier ala WoW, they made ones that work and let them be interchangeable between tiers. This is far superior to me. You don't get tiers that have garbage bonuses and you don't end up in 2:2 limbo where you are only 1/2 way through building your new set.

From BW's perspective its obviously more cost effective to find bonuses that work and keep them as opposed to people trying to find new and inventive ways to implement set bonuses and then test all the potential balance issues introduced as a result.

For talents, I think that they should take a page out of WoW's book and trim down the tree to some degree. Not to the level of current-WoW (I think that's boring...you can't make something both meaningful and not meaningful at the same time) but trim the trees down to the stuff that matters and make the boring talents inherent in the spec.

  10. ... but every other armor worth wearing, as well.

Why do you have such a problem with "highly affordable/not-do-desired" outfits as well? Don't you realize the CM contains junkie outfits as well? Outfits that no one cares for. The CM contains more than just "highly-desired" outfits. In fact, "highly-desired" outfits are the MINORITY of the outfits the CM holds.

Today on the news, local government discovered a brown recluse in the forest east of the city. They wanted to make sure to remove the threat so no one would be hurt by the creature ... so they nuked the entire state.

Well, since you keep ignoring me, it's only fair game to ignore you back. Try posting a point that hasn't already been disproved. If I haven't answered this question about deciding which is "top shelf" or not, then yes continue to ask. But stop repeating the same tired points about "highly desired" outfits, since I've repeated a million times that they can be excluded from the uniform code.

I wouldn't think the question should be that hard to comprehend, though. How does BW decide which sets are "highly desired"? How doesn't one figure out? It shouldn't be rocket science to go onto the GTN and see what the highest-priced armor sets are. Or, if they want to figure out these values before they are released to the public, it shouldn't be that hard to figure out which sets are based off of iconic figures in the Star Wars franchise. (After all, they made them that way in the first place.)

Well firstly, the insulting is really helpful to your arguments, I'm sure that will help your point.

On to the point. You seem to think that everyone thinks the exact same way as you which is a pretty limited. What's your threshold for "highly desired"? 100,000 credits? 1,000,000? If something isn't on the GTN (potentially because no one has any for sale) does that automatically make it undesired? You're suggesting BW create a team to monitor the GTN and change what is excluded from your proposed system (that isn't necessary but we've covered that) as the market fluctuates...that doesn't seem cost effective from BW's perspective at all. What happens if someone spends a whole lot of time designing the perfect guild uniform out of GTN trash and then suddenly the whole server sees this uniform and starts trying to duplicate it and the GTN prices sky rocket? Does that guild then lose the ability to use that armor set?

This whole proposal is so ridiculously niche and rife with problems, potential market exploitation, and unnecessary costs for BW I'm not sure why anyone's still talking about it.

Everyone who is able to, should absolutely post any ideas that they think will improve the game and anyone who disagrees should also make their point known. I don't think anyone should be silenced...but I think there's a time when good sense should prevail and one admits their idea might not have been well thought out or implementable.

  11. Except I continually state that I'm not after the "highly desired" items and outfits; I've even suggested they be restricted from being set as uniform pieces.

If you want to pick up on this false rhetoric too, I'll start reporting your posts as problematic as well.

Ever heard of Collections? That allows one to claim free gear for themselves. I don't see you objecting to that.

So you're just going to report all posts that disagree with you now, eh? Good debate strategy, silence the people pointing out the issues.

As has been mentioned again and again and again to the point of ridiculousness, you can already do this, it just doesn't give it to you for free (whether its highly desired or not). If a guild wants to do this right now, at this very moment, they can impose these rules and make it a condition of guild membership. There's no need for BW to spend money on a system that is ripe for exploitation of the market.

  12. Uh... Darth Vader didn't have to use the Force to deflect the bolts. Darth Vader's gloves were said to be indestructable.

Yeesh...necro'ing a month and a half dead thread. Although at least its just some trivia about Vader as opposed to more whining about wanting an "I WIN" button.

  13. I will re-iterate, I have no issue in agreeing that 2K is essentially trivial, my issue is that a player can compell you to spend 2K regardless of how you feel. Is like having people forcing you to buy their cokes or they will throw mud all over you, and folks telling you its only a measly 75 cents, so its perfectly fine.

You're using a false analogy to make your point seem more valid. To be more accurate its like someone forcing you to buy their cokes for a mealy $.75 IF you chose to enter their store and IF you go to a place that was known to likely cause soda craving or a random small inconvenience and CHOOSING to buy the soda instead of suffering the random small inconvenience.

Soo...not at all like your analogy.

  14. Did you see how long FFXIV was down before the relauch? That is the kind of time scale we're talking for a relaunch. I'd love to see it, because The Repopulation is apparently using a finished version of the Hero Engine and is all the better for it, but we know that this game is pulling in a few hundred million in revenue, and the gains to be seen by starting from scratch quite likely do not outweigh a continued revenue stream from the game as is.

It is not an easy thing to do, and I'm at a loss as to how you think it would be a quick change.

What're you taking about? Clearly, as I'm sure the OP will confirm, its simply as easy as changing

    #include <HeroEngine.h>

    to

    #include <UnrealEngine.h>

Source: I saw C code once...

  15. How does BW decide which sets are "highly desired" and therefore to be restricted from a guild uniform system. It is far easier to simply restrict ALL CM gear and dyes from any guild uniform system.

That also has the added advantage that no one can claim a given set is "highly desired" and should be, in their opinion, restricted or is not "highly desired" and should not, in their opinion, be restricted.

As for your "dirt-cheap Czerka bracers and Czerka gloves and Czerka belts and Czerka headwear and Czerka pants and Czerka skirts and Czerka shoes and Czerka color crystals and Czerka weapons", why would you need all of those? Are you telling me that you are incapable of finding bracers, gloves, belts, etc. to use in conjunction with the Czerka shirt in order to achieve "visual conformity"?

Can you not add dyes to that shirt, or the other corporate shirts in order to provide for customization and creativity? You have just as much customization and creativity available with the corporate shirts as you do with ANY chest piece or any other piece of gear. If you want to claim there is no room for customization or creativity with the corporate shirts, then I challenge you to show me how there is customization available for any other chest piece or any piece of gear that is not available for those corporate shirts.

Also, are you now attempting to include color crystals and weapons in your guild uniforms?

Of course he is, because what's a highly desirable armor set without a highly desirable color crystal and weapon? Give everyone the Black Nebula Blaster and the Cathar Honor Sword!

The OP is so deep in his own lie its ridiculous. The motivation is clear to anyone: OP wants things for free.

  16. I'll be honest, I have my suspicions. But, I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt.

Do you have 'proof,' or was this a drive-by mudsling?

In another thread I looked at last night he claimed to be using a tablet. If that's the case, then his tablet might be the only one in existence to not have the "pinch zoom" feature. I mean, if you think about it, its pretty clear. If he couldn't read the normal text size of this website (the size it uses for the forums) then how could he have ever setup an account in the first place? How does he login to post things? The website doesn't cater to him and make things all caps. I could have almost bought it if it was just the text size, but asking for all caps decreases readability, and when he was originally posting he was only asking for all caps, not an increase in text size. The three pixel height difference between capital and lower case letters couldn't viably increase readability.

  17. I can't decipher it the I can't decipher it the print is too small can you please make the print bigger stop

Then I will be able to answer you stop I am freezing my sentences with the word stop at the end it to show the truth stop in the sentence the word stop is like a. . Kind of like a hell of a telegram is praised stop

I can't believe people are still falling for this...

  18. One of the longest grinds in the game is getting to Valor 100. Wouldn't it be cool to have a set of gear that people could wear to show this achievement. Sure the title 'Elite Warlord' is nice but a set of gear or even a special helm would be nice.

I think something cosmetic would be awesome! Some really cool customizable gear/weapon shells is a great idea. I think I'm like valor 20 or something so I'd never get it but I think it would be an awesome thing to recognize the people who did.

  19. Wanting better endgame for solo players with some form of progression is NOT entitlement. There is those regurgitated buzz words again; "handouts", "entitlement", etc. You constantly and erroneously equate the wish for better progression of character for those of us that prefer solo play as some sort of crazy unwarranted request and you talk down to anyone that doesn't play the same way you do. It's almost like you believe that a raider's time is the only one that has any value.

We are not out to ruin your fun or limit your progress but you seem hell bent on doing that to us. I guess you're content with seeing bored non-raiders leave the game so long as you get to keep your toys to yourself. Great Attitude.

I've provided multiple avenues for character progression that don't include more gear and you simply ignore them...you refuse to acknowledge the argument because it doesn't fit your world view. You see progression as more stats and when presented with an idea that is contrary to that you cover your ears and scream and pretend you didn't hear it. Its sad that you are so stuck in that mindset.

You also refuse to respond to my question: if your view of "progression" is "more stat", what do you do if they allow you to craft BiS gear after a week when you're done crafting? Do you quit the game because you're done? Do you complain for more "stat"? What do you do? What is the end goal in your scenario? Why can't you do whatever it is you'd do once you get BiS without BiS? Why are you so hung up on wanting what other people have? Is that how you act in the real world?

  20. I'm done trying to argue with you. Clearly you're too narrow minded to understand a view point other than yours. You incorrectly view any request for alternative advancement as asking for "Handouts" or as some sort of "Entitlement ************" and insist on thoughtlessly parroting the same straw man robotic buzz words that have been used over and over again by some of those in the hard core raider crowd. You refuse to understand that there are many of us who crave something different from the same ole, same ole archaic raid progression model that is more inclusive than raids and more fun and interesting than dalies.

You're not poking any holes in an argument when you fail to understand the view point; alternatives. Not free, not handouts, not "gimme free stuff", just something different to parallel the tradition raid paradigm.

From my perspective you're the one who is narrow minded. You are stuck in this idea of higher gear stats as progression, but to what end? Raiders get better gear to complete fights and prepare for the next content...you want better gear to...what? Sit around fleet? You're the one who refuses to see character progression as achievements or PVP valor rank or GSF or reputation grinding. You're the one who's stuck into thinking that you want better gear.

Basically your arguments in this thread boil down to two things:

    1.
    2. "Crafters don't have enough to do!" To this the response is "wait for GSH". Once that drops you can craft a ton of end tables and lamps and posters for walls and the problem is solved.
    3. "I believe I deserve BiS gear for 'character progression'!" This is the entitled attitude. This is the narrow minded view point. You don't need the gear, you want it because someone else has it and you thought "ME TOO!". There is nothing you need it for but you refuse to accept the other options available as character progression. You refuse to accept anything other than higher stats as character progression.

That's really it, its not a strawman because these are, in fact, your arguments. Those are the only two possible mindsets in feeling like you want BiS gear without putting in the effort. The first I can see the point of view, but its being resolved in GSH. The second is just entitlement, pure and simple.

Also, you still refuse to say what you'd do if you did get BiS gear. Log off and delete the game because then, according to your narrow minded view point, there is no more progression and you're done. If you have something you'd do after you got BiS gear...just do that now and stop asking for handouts.

  21. You are either intentionally twisting my words or you aren't understanding. I want better support like the OP for crafters who don't raid where they can provide better gear for themselves and others without the tedious credit grind. I would love this, I would use this and would be very happy with that. I also want to see the acquisition of endgame mats tied to a new option that supports solo players via scalable content (i.e. scales to group size) or some other measure that is fun, engaging, and keeps level 55s who don't raid busy with some kind of progression.

Better than what? You claim I'm here to be a jerk but I disagree, I'm simply poking holes in your argument and you're unhappy because you're not rebutting it, you just keep saying "I want better stuff without putting in the same effort as other people!". You don't need it. You saw it was available to raiders and you thought to yourself "I don't want to put in the same effort as raiders but I want the same gear...no...I DESERVE the same gear!". You don't even know why you want it other than because someone else has it.

I can't understand your point of view because I can't bend my mind to believe that you deserve something for less effort than other people have expended. You can already make gear that will allow you to easily complete any of the solo content available. Why isn't that enough? Why do you think that because someone else has something you also deserve it? What would you do if you had it? What would you do for "progression" then? Just do that now instead of asking for handouts.

  22. No. I want more options to continue progressing my characters without having to participate in activities I don't particularly enjoy. I want it to take time and effort but of a different sort that is both engaging and fun. It's not a question of entitlement but of entertainment.

Right, so you aren't really asking for more things for crafters, you're using that as a thin veil for saying "I want the things that I haven't put the time or effort into". That argument has fallen apart on you leaving the smelly entitlement husk behind.

If you want that gear, then put in the effort. It should be as simple as that but you want everything handed to you without putting in the effort. So then we go to "you don't need that gear" because if you're not raiding...you just don't, you want it, and those are vastly different. Now you say "I want to progress my character!" while we all infer the "without putting in effort" prologue. So you can do achievements, or any number of things that don't require you to have the highest end PVE gear, but you're not happy with that either. So we come to an impasse. We tell you the things you can do and you kick your feet and scream because you want the things that other people have but don't want to put in the same effort.

Edit: what happens if they give you what you want? You claim now that it's for "character progression" but if they give you this you'll be decked out in BiS in a week. Then what? You're back here complaining? Neat.

    End thread.
