Ya I picked up the shadow of revan prelude on my ship first.

I'm trying to finish up my last character and can't get past Forged Alliance: Part 1 Korriban. It's setting the difficulty to Tactical instead of Solo mode. I've reset it the mission and picked it back up from the droid in front of the instance. I've reset Forged Alliance mission and started from the start. Nothing I do seems to get me the solo mode. Any ideas how I could get that? I know most people will say just group up for it. But right now finding people to do a 55 Tactical is kind of a pain. And it's on a pub toon and all my friends are over imp side. I can probably get someone to help me later this week but I was hoping to take advantage of the double xp this weekend and just solo to 60 real quick.

We are looking for 1 more healer and one DPS, or Tank. Our group is a pretty laid back and casual group. We are working on SM content, with a little HM practice right now. After we gear our group we'll be working on HM progression. We try to meet up twice a week at 8ish server time. The days change each week based on everyone availability. At the end of each raid we discuss when the next best day is and meet up then. Everyone is in a different guild so you won't need to leave your friends to join. Just commit to the time slots and save your lockout for our group. We have a TS server and a website and phone app to communicate with each other. Lag? I think this might be your IP. I've been playing the game since beta and haven't experienced this. I get the occasional lag spikes. Although slightly annoying not a big deal since it doesn't happen that often. I guess I got a ton of lag during the Ilum days. But other then that it hasn't been a issue. Even on fleet I rarely get lag. If you want to quit and play another game and complain that it's laggy, because you have a slow IP be my guest.

I've seen a lot of people complaining about the new Elite War Hero gear. This is just some of my thoughts on it. At the start of the game when Champion and Battle Master gear were in random boxes it took me so long to get them. That and you actually needed to be Valor 60 to wear Battle Master. On one hand it was a cool accomplishment. On the other it was very difficult to get. I think I had 5 head pieces by the time I finally got a full set because of the randomness of the boxes. Then War Hero set comes in and is way better then Battle Master and easier to get. I was disappointed that it would be so much easier to get. I mean I worked so hard to get my nice shiny Battle Master set just to have it become the inferior set. Honestly though this is just the way MMO's work. Or at least this one. They have to introduce more gear to keep the carrot in front of you. The difference between War Hero and Elite War Hero is so small though that the gear won't matter as much anymore. It'll be a nice accomplishment when you get a full set of Elite War Hero but it won't be the, "smash your face in" like before. I think war zones will be a lot more competitive now with War Her being so much easier to get. Now it's based on skill. If you are good it'll be because you have some skill now. Not because your gear is so much better then everyone.

I'm in full war hero mid/maxed. I noticed more damage with the custom bracers and belt. There isn't any diminishing returns on exp. but I think after 1200-1250 switching for power is better. I did put in a exp. crystal on my gun rather then power, but I think I might swap it out and see if I notice a difference.

you can only add one augment slot to your gear not two.

I like to give my vote to the person with the most deaths as well. It mean's one of 2 things. 1. They didn't give up. Like in a loosing civil war. I hate it when people give up early and just sit on the node. 2. Probably under geared and need help.

A couple of my all time favorite sayings: 1. I CAN'T CARRY YOU ALL (love people who actually thing there one toon carry's the team.) 2. The other day when a 14k sentential asked. What the hell don't we have any heals? I'm sorry but until you get some gear you will die a lot..... a lot.

Ya I totally agree. I've been wanting to do this from the start. Then I could start a underground betting ring where you would bet on the matches. It could be the Vegas of swtor!

Nope you get to play wz's with them but you won't see any of there inc warnings or anything else said by them.

I have a fully augmented war hero and have another set for my companion. I know how long it takes to get. I agree it takes way to long for new people to get it. And I destroy people until they do. When you compare it to black hole gear it takes way longer to get. I got my whole set of black hole in a month. I could probably do it faster if I did more pve. I would like to see the next tier to be a little easier to get. I like destroying newbs as much as the next guy (num, num num!) but I would like to have a more competitive environment.

I'm a Vangaurd tank and this is my experience. Post 1.2 I ran shield spec. I was 70 valor in full supercomando BM gear (the tank set). I ran with my Sage Healer friend. Together if I shielded him and used taunts we could defend a node all day. It was fun but it's true you do not do any dps. I was lucky to just get the 75k medal. After 1.2 I caved and decided to do DPS. So I grinded out a new set of BM gear, the Combat Tech set. It took me a little under 2 weeks to get a entire set. I also changed my spec to mostly Assault. With this I lost my guard ability but my DPS went up a ton. I still don't hit the top of the charts but I get 200k most matches and 300k when I do really well. There is a huge diffrence between champ gear and BM. I used the champ gear I got for one of my companions until I had the bm. BM is drasticly better! I'm also the main tank for our guild. PvE and PvP tatics are very diffrent. each require skill, but are played completly diffrently. I still have a hard time one on one but I can make a very big impact in a wz. But I notice things are easier after I switched to dps. I'm hoping for a duel-spec system. It would be nice to have one spec for PvE and another for PvP. Until then I'll have to eat the cost of re-specing every time I have to do a ops. It's not ideal but it's what I have to do for now.
