  1. Update on the Guild: - We're stable at 100+ Active Accounts (Active=played within last 30 days) - We are still running unscheduled PvP and HM 55 FP's most nights of the week - Just completed week 4 of scheduled SM Ops and have beaten both S&V and TFB! HM OPs will start soon! - We could still use a few more regular raiders to make sure we always have 8 for Saturdays and to start a 2nd Ops night during the week for those that can't run on the weekends. We also have plenty of guild crafters available to help get our raiders augmented at very low cost. This is a great time to join The BBC - contact an officer in game, via our website or on Facebook! Our Facebook Fanpage is also open to non-guild members: http://www.Facebook.com/BBCGuild
  2. Well contrary to what someone said earlier, you DO have to go to Tattoine if you want the full set of gear. Certain pieces drop on certain planets. I do believe there are 2 other areas outside of Outlawn's Den that you can farm them in, though. I've always done Outlaws Den. (mainly early in the day). In probably 6 hours total of farming over the weekend, I can count on one hand the number of other players I saw in there. I may use it for an upcoming guild event, but without some sort of reward (i.e. VALOR), and perhaps some quests to go with it, there really isn't much point. Slap diminishing returns on killing the same opponent and enforce a 'no farming' policy and it could be interesting. But I don't see that happening..
  3. Some ideas: Politely set a limit on how much longer you can participate. (i.e. Hey - I have a few more tries left in me, then I'll have to go). Also..consider talking to your guild leader about recruiting more players in during the times that you play. Add players to your friends list that you enjoy running FP's with and hit them up directly when you want to run Flashpoints. Hope this helps.

  5. Absolutely no need to do so. They put a product on sale to gain new customers. With the exception of recent purchasers (commonly a 30 day window), businesses don't run around refunding Anyone Who Ever Bought Something when it goes on sale. Something better than a title? Sure! But I don't feel entitled to a refund (yes, that's what the Cartel Coin grant is) for a product I puchased last spring. I more than got my money's worth from it.
  6. "Appreciation" of "Recent Purchase" = Compensation to those who JUST bought it, set at 30 day window, the most common window in the business world to offer credit/refund for a price drop. Yet people keep trying to turn this into "Y U LOVE THEM MORE THAN ME???", "OMGWTF Y U SLAP ME IN THE FACE?", "I FEEL LIKE I JUST GOT WHIPPED WITH A WIRE COAT HANGER!" Get a grip. It's a sales promotion. Happens all the time. Has nothing to do with loyalty rewards, no matter how hard a few people are trying to twist it into that so they can get a freebie.
  7. How about 6 months of gameplay, a number of unique in-game items and 500 Cartel Coin bonus a month, just for being a subscriber? Oh wait..
  8. I'd feel even more special if I they added another zero and gave me a lifetime free sub. After all, it doesn't *cost* them anything.
