  1. XOR - can you email me a few PVP logs so we can try taking a look? I'll do some PVP as well, but several cases will help us test out this theory. My email is feedback@askmrrobot.com.
  2. XOR, nice link to taugrim, he's one of my favorite PVP sources Hmmm, so the safe login doesn't have a zone attached, but you're not suggesting that it does. So let me rephrase and see if I understand: Your idea is to look for <safe login> <bolster> death, then rezone in would look like : <safe login><bolster> repeat. repeat, repeat... until we see <safe login> and no bolster. Is that correct? Now it makes sense why you said there appears to be a bolster event in level 50 only warzones.
  3. I've had a few people say that level 25 mod schematics drop in HM / NiM KP. Does anyone have a screenshot of that so I can add it to the list?
  4. Regarding MOX: We don't plan on building a live raid meter in the near future, perhaps further out. We're happy to integrate with any of the tools though Mox made a fantastic parser and you should continue to use it. We look at it like this: MOX is like Recount in WoW (live-raid performance assessment), and we're like WoL (post-raid performance assessment / theorycrafting). There is a place for both. Unfortunately, any solution for SWTOR requires every raid member to participate. Mox requires everyone to download and set up the program, Ask Mr. Robot requires everyone to upload a log. XORDYH - Funny you mention world bosses. I just finished confirming all world boss names (if we spell it wrong, it won't work, ha!). I believe we'll have an update later today with those bosses included Regarding PVP... What is 'bolster' for? Is it unique to PVP? "Safe Immunity" won't work, since you get that every time you zone into an instance (PVP or PVE). I'll do a few PVP rounds today and see if I can isolate some of the events and put some logic around them. I think the harder part will be when to consider the warzone over. I also want to spend more time on this, because I feel like you'd want to see different stats on PVP reports... for example you care more about damage mitigation a lot, and threat doesn't matter at all.
  5. Fried Citizen: good idea! I'll add that to the list... maybe search by instance per server (to keep the results in the hundreds, instead of thousands).
  6. Glad you like it! We're actually working on a way to show DoT uptime, that was one of our favorite stats in WoL. As for the privacy, the way to do it is not enter a guild name. Then the only way someone can see it is if you share the link with them. I can add that tip in my OP
  7. We released an update tonight: Added a guild-search feature, now you can look up logs from any guild. Improved smart-merging logic to handle edge cases Added the ability to edit or delete your log Added 'ownership' to logs: if you upload it, you can edit or delete it, even for non-logged in users (as long as you use the same browser / computer, Mr. Robot will remember you) Added the ability to remove someone's log from a group log, in case it messed things up Added a new stat, "Active" - it shows the time you were alive Made a video tour These features are not applied to logs uploaded before April 29, but they are automatically applied to all future logs.
  8. Hey everyone, you may have seen my other post looking for answers. I have most of them so I wanted to share the results. Click here for the Infographic! Crafted Gear List: Campaign (BoE): Synthweaving, Armormech, Armstech, Artifice Weapons & Relics Black Hole (BoE): Biochem, Cybertech Rakata (BoP): Synthweaving, Armormech, Artifice Relics Exotech (BoP): Synthweaving, Armormech Energized (BoP): Synthweaving, Armormech Tionese (BoP): Biochem, Cybertech Columi (BoE): Biochem, Cybertech Battlemaster (BoE): Synthweaving, Armormech War Hero (BoE): Synthweaving, Armormech Crafted Modifications List: Level 26: Armstech, Artifice, Cybertech Mods, Cybertech Armorings Level 25: Cybertech Mods Level 24: Cybertech Mods, Cybertech Armorings Level 23: Armstech, Artifice, Cybertech Mods, Cybertech Armorings Extraction costs for level 23, 24, 25, and 26 Mods: Level 23: Rating 51: 23,821cr Level 23: Rating 52: 25,574cr Level 24: Rating 56: 33,422cr Level 25: Rating 58: 37,874cr Level 26: Raiting 61: ~45k (need screenshot) - These can be RE'd to lean a pattern, the other levels cannot. I have collected screenshots to backup the data in the infographic, which you can see at the bottom of this post. Special thanks to the help I got on reddit, Dulfy (Iwipe), and Icid, djAlleyKat, James Cloutier, and Pangwl for providing many of the screenshots. If you can provide proof of anything marked with a ??? on the infographic, I have a few tauntaun fawns I'll give to those who can get screenshots of sources. First come, first serve!
  9. Alright, I'm closing in on the final information. Here's what is left... you know the drills, post a screenshot. Level 26 Barrel / Hilt - can someone see if this is RE'able from a black hole / campaign level weapon? Level 24 Barrel / Hilt - Does this pattern also drop in KP? Level 24 Armoring - Does this pattern drop in KP? Level 26 Armoring - I've seen a report this drops from Explosive conflict (not in an item, but the armoring drops). I've heard this is RE'able. Can anyone confirm? Level 23 Everything (barrel / hilt / mods / enhancements / armorings) - Still need a source... I'm suspicious if these are even craftable Level 25 Mod - Still need a source Level 26 extraction cost - anyone know the exact extraction cost?
  10. I've been compiling this information and almost have it all done and ready to share. In the meantime, here's what we know: Level 26 mods from Campaign and BH gear can be RE'd to learn the pattern Level 24 mods cannot be RE'd, but the patterns drop from any mob in KP Level 23 and 25's may be craftable, but we have yet to find a source, so I'm suspicious of the craftability of these. Here's a thread where I started gathering some of the info, it has some screenshots for proof as well.
  11. Hey, I'm one of the people behind Ask Mr. Robot. A lot of you know that we aggressively weed out items that don't exist in the game so we have the most accurate database. In this case, we took out the armorings you referenced, but it turns out a few people have access to them with old gear that is also no longer available. We'll get those added back in right away, and put a 'no longer obtainable' tag on it, like this.
  12. Hey, I've been compiling this info and have a few answers for you. The BH implants and ears can be RE'd to learn a pattern. The crafted item is BoE. All of the campaign gear can be RE'd to learn a pattern. The crafted item is BoE. The level 26 mods and enhancements from this gear can be RE'd to learn a pattern. The level 26 armorings from the gear cannot. Side note: The level 25 mods from Rakata level gear cannot be RE'd to learn a pattern, nor can the level 24 mods. The level 24 mod patterns are drops in KP.
  13. Do you have a screenshot to prove that the belt/bracer can be RE'd to learn a pattern? Just a screenshot of the tooltip would be enough. I'm one of the people behind Ask Mr. Robot, and this has been on our 'suspicious' list for a while. We've seen people say they can be crafted, but we still have yet to see proof of that (which is why they aren't in our database). But, if it can be done, and we see a screenshot, Mr. Robot will add them in lickety split! Side note, as far as we know, the Black hole ear / implants are the only BH gear that can be RE'd for a pattern. Whereas all of the campaign gear can be RE'd to learn a pattern.
  14. Yeah, once you start recording data, you can uncover bugs. Either you're on the worst luck ever streak... or something is bugged.
  15. Grats on the speed, it is definitely fun to be able to see those improvements. I don't know how many times we've white boarded about database indexing to make sure AMR is fast. I've learned more about indexing than I ever thought I would
  16. If you want to see how bad your luck really is, you can check out the RE luck calculator here: http://blog.askmrrobot.com/2012/04/swtor-re-luck-caculator/ It calculates the probability of getting a pattern given a specific number of tries. For example, with a 20% chance to RE and 14 tries, you have a 95% chance to get the pattern. That's still a 5% chance to NOT get the pattern, which isn't really that crazy. It sucks, yes, but totally out of the ordinary, no.
  17. RE: Mox raid parser. Ginnai is very responsive, you should send him a message and ask if he accesses memory. Let's say he isn't accessing memory (because as far as I know, he doesn't)... could this guy have an unrelated virus on his computer that is trying to gather his login information? Did Bioware call out that it was the Mox Parser? If not, I would hold of making that assumption until someone knows the final answer. I'd hate to see people stop using Mox when it has nothing to do with his raid meter!
  18. Moziv... I'm suspicious of the level 25's right now. So our database shows that some of them are craftable, and I thought maybe if you pulled it out of the right item, it would work. But it looks like a couple people have tried, and it is not the case. So then the question is... WHERE do you learn the 25 (and 23) craftable mod patterns? I haven't seen anyone claim they are drops... unless it's maybe in nightmare modes? And what about 23's... why has no one found a source for those (that I know of, anyway)?
  19. Baba, there are a couple of things to check. 1. Did you go to 'my documents' then 'star wars - the old republic' ? This is a different folder than where the game is installed. 2. Silly question, but when you checked 'enable combat logging' - did you click 'apply' so that it saved?
  20. The Hazmat and Denova gear are *theorized* to drop from NiM mode EC. We're leaving them in for a little longer until some guilds have cleared NiM and can confirm / deny their existence. I'll know more after that point. Good question
  21. DJAlleycat, thank you. Hmmm, so where do the patterns for 23's and 25's come from?! Moziv, we have a screenshot confirming what you just said, but if you already have one and want to share it, having several examples can't hurt! Does anyone have a screenshot of a 23 or 25 being sold on the GTN where the tooltip says 'made by ____.' ? I'm curious now... to make sure that the data we see is right, and they can in fact be crafted.
  22. Upon more digging... I have another theory. Take a look at these level 25 mods. You'll notice at the bottom, there are two level 25's listed at a different rating, 56, instead of 58. One of them can be crafted, as well as ripped from 2 different items. So here's a list of all of the level 25 mods that can be crafted. Does anyone have access to any of the items one of these can be ripped from? If so, do you have a chance to RE the mod it to learn a pattern? The items that have these mods are: Early Retirement Neo Crusader's Notch Cutter The Debilitator The Linecutter Quickshot Davik Kang's Sidearm Fury-7 Prototype Blaster The Stalwart Arm Terentatek's Bane Stonewall This test can also be done with the level 23 mods... the higher rated ones come from weapons. The others can come from columni or tionese gear. Take a look at the list please. If you have any of the items they can be ripped from, let me know if the mod can be RE'd for a pattern (with a screenshot of the tooltip). This would be AWESOME to know.
  23. One more to add to the list.. while I'm at it, I want to collect as much info as possible to add to our database. Does anyone know the cost to extract each of the mods/enhancements/armorings/barrels/hilts from the various end-game sets? Rakata, Campaign, Black Hole, War Hero, BattleMaster? And does the cost differ by slot (is it more expensive to remove it from the chest than the legs, for example?) I'm looking for exact costs (screenshots would be awesome).
  24. I added an update to the OP. There are few last specific questions, and I have a few spare tauntauns for anyone with the screenshots / proof I need! Update on 4/25: We're getting closer. If anyone can answer the following questions with a screenshot as proof, I have a couple tauntaun fawns I can give out. Remember, you don't have to actually RE the mod, we just needs a screenshot of the tooltip when you mouse over it. Level 25 Crafted Mods: We show that several level 25 mods can be crafted. I'm hoping someone can verify ONE of these. Click on any of the mods and you'll see where they can be ripped from - it looks like they are all weapons. Level 23 Crafted Mods: We show level 23 crafted mods with 51 and 52 ratings. Does anyone have a source for these... a pattern or an RE? Level 23 Armoring: The armorings from the commendation vendor also seem to be crafted. Is this true? Can anyone get a screenshot of the RE tooltip from one of these mods? Level 23 Barrels / Hilts: Does anyone know if these can be RE'd or if they are from a pattern? I just need ONE confirmed. Barrels / Hilts. Am I missing any other questions?
  25. There is an option to turn on tooltips for your companion's gear That companion has to be summoned for it to work, but as long as he/she is out, it's a nice feature. Open your preferences menu. Go to the "User Interface" tab. About half way down there will be a 'tooltip' section. Check the box that says "Enable Companion Tooltips." Viola!
