  1. I really want to make a character based another character in the game. It's all possible, but when I tried to claim the name, someone else had already taken it. I friended the person several months later and their character is only level 26 so I have reason to believe the character/account is inactive. I sent in a ticket to see if I could claim the name for a name change, but the response was an automated response for requests for the things you pay for in the Cartel Market. I feel my request was mostly ignored, but more importantly, I feel like especially with inactive accounts should relinquish the rights to a toon name if the account is inactive
  2. I was playing SWTOR and I was reminiscing about the days of SWG and I realized what I missed. I missed having to have cities taken over by a faction and NPC's of the faction patrolled the cities. I was just thinking about having the next planet having multiple cities that pending a score system or, like Battlefront, having locations of key points to take over/destroy. I liked the Illum's idea at first, but nothing really compelled me to do it so there could be a weekly quest to take over (x) amount of republic/imperial bases or defend your faction's base from (x) number of enemies. To add to the intensity, there could be callable NPC reinforcements. IDK kinda of a random thought. Ideas?
  3. Here's a new idea to build on the Legacy system. It should be when your character finished his/her chapter 3 or hit lvl 50, their ship becomes available for all toons of the server. I like the Bounty Hunter ship as much as the next guy, but I love the Imperial Agent's the most, and I'm sad that i can't use that ship since my main is a bounty hunter. I want that to be available.
  4. While having a limit to even out the playing field among the more active players vs the more casual, it isn't fair to the people who put in more time to try and regain the gear they worked for probably months to get good, and need to get new gear because of new gear becoming available.
  5. Also if anyone doesn't know what the Wilhelm Scream is, it's this. if you didn't watch the video, essentially it's the scream when some people fell to their deaths.
  6. How about no. It's already released, and the anger is flowing through you. Your path to the dark side is almost complete.
  7. It's finally occured to me, that the popular Wilhelm Scream that is so featured on Star Wars isn't used on Star Wars: The Old Republic. I feel like when a NPC is knocked off, it should do a chance at doing the legendary Wilhelm Scream. Or have a particular NPC somewhere when he's knocked off to do the scream. While I am aware the Wilhem Scream isn't from Star Wars, I personally put those two together all the time.
  8. I haven't thought it out much, but my guild thought, what if for end game duties, there were class quests you could do related to your class. Imp Agents could do assassinations on planets. Bounty Hunters could do PvP and get money from player bounties. Sith/Jedi could have quests like Skyrim that has a generated quests to do. As previously stated, haven't thought it out. Looking to hear ideas on this. I know SWG had the player bounties and that was fun to do. Planets are large enough for players to go hiding if they're paying attention.
  9. The only cure I even read about in the Star Wars Killik Crisis, they is no cure except for isolation from the Hive. Even then they only have a countermeasure to prevent joining. Not undo them.
  10. No, though good story. Also there was no joining in Ender's Game. in the Star Wars: Killik Crisis brought a lot of the info to light.
  11. I just did the Hive Mind on Alderaan where you save the man's daughter from the Killik's. I'm a big Star Wars fan and been reading the series and I know this. No Joiner joined Killiks on their own will. While in the joining they loose their opinion and act according to the hive. When the alignment choice came up, Leaving her was the Light option and the Dark option was to force her to leave. I believe this quest should be tweaked to 1. Allow "person" to stay. Neutral. 2. Convince "person' to leave peacefully Light Side. 3. Leave with you or die. Dark Side.
  12. I've been fairly satisfied with the crafting game with SWTOR so far, but since the 1.2 Legacy, I feel like I get nothing reverse engineered. Example, i've crafted over 15 Might Armor 14(green) with a 20% schematic, with maybe 4 extras made from the chance crafts. I have yet to reverse engineer it. My Idea is this. By default, green rare equipment reverse engineer at 20%, with every time you reverse engineer the specific item, your chance goes up by 2%. To reverse engineer a blue rare item, it would start at 15% then go up by 1.5%. The higher level gear's percentages could be tweaked since that's end game gear. I.e. 15% at 1% per RE. Am I the only one with this terrible luck?
  13. I'm a Bounty Hunter in the making and one thing I've noticed is the lag of bounties. I think when someone kills you from PvP, You should be given to option to place a bounty on them. You can only place a bounty every half an hour or every hour. The Bounty Hunter can then either have an ability to check players for bountys, or go to a mission terminal that gives you a player and what planet they're on(or last on if they've logged). Bounty Hunter's who do this could be neutral during these times and visit Republic planets to hunt Republic targets.
  14. I'd say just post about it, what can be done, what is the purpose of it being done, how it can be done. It would be nice to be able to have more interaction on the ship. Probably would be nice to have a prefences setting that makes you take off when board or wait for you to set destination before take off.
  15. hmmm...on the note of being refurbished, that also brings up one idea. Maybe also having the option to have more customization of the interior would be nice, or the outside's paint job. The interior could have table's, beds, whatever furniture Bioware would allow. Oh also on the face about snub fighters, since it's a 1 man vehicle, you jump in and it immediatly goes to the galaxy map and you go. Simple, you could still customize the exterior.
