  1. You still dont get it... Read all three lines of what expertise alters. Increases damage Reduces damage Increases healing So unlike damage healing is not mitigated at all. This is why they reduced the amount of healing. It is still more of a bonus than a dps is getting from damage even after the patch.
  2. Try to get them to use their kb early so you can leap back up before they get through the ramps. Leap while they are on a flame vent to suicide kill them. Also force choke them when they are on a flame vent to kill them as well. Positioning can cancel out about 50% of knockbacks. A slow on them will allow you to leap back up before they can cap.
  3. I havent completely finished my class story yet but I hope the Dread Masters are used more in the future. What did you think when your first ran into them?
  4. We had a bot in our last Huttball match. He was somehow the closest person to the carrier who died. So anyway he has the ball now and the bot takes about 2 minutes to go from our pit to the top lip of our pit in the middle. Our whole team is there with him so they can’t kill him. This bot had the Huttball for a good 5-6 minutes and didn’t even pass the podium in the middle where the Huttball spawns. We were already winning so I wasn’t too pissed but it was still annoying. In a Voidstar match we had a stealthed bot the whole game, which is even more useless because no one tries to kill him. He sat there stealthed and watched them plant a bomb while everyone was stuck in the spawn room. That was pretty aggravating...
  5. Positioning does help prevent you getting knocked off a lot less often. Sometimes you will get knocked off, it happens to everyone. Put your back against a beam, another object, or line yourself up with platform you are on, so you land on it again. Slow the person while you are on them. This should allow your charge to come off cooldown so you can start bashing them again. If you are getting hosed while you are on the ground use your abilities to minimize the damage. You have 4-5 to choose from so something should be available. Do not forget about the health bonuses laying around either. I eat these things like candy.
  6. Have you tried swaping out phantom for dominate? It may boost your damage some.
  7. I am interested in knowing what causes an interception as well.
  8. I second this motion! It is a pain in the you know what to reform the group after every WZ.
  9. I would also drop the talents in Unbound and Enraged charge. 1 rage every 15 seconds is not worth 2 talent points imo. Also not a lot of situations have arisen for me where Unbound would have done anything meaningful. I would go with narrowed hatred first unless you are pretty much capped and then go for malice. Quick recovery is debatable. If you find yourseld using it a lot feel free but Im not really hitting it very often so I use those points for payback.
  10. If you are getting cc'd in a 1v1 situation to death then you are either: not using your defensive cooldowns correctly not high enough level to obtain said cooldowns or not as good as the player that killed you If you are getting cc'd in a 1v2 situation to death then you are either: not using your defensive cooldowns correctly to escape the situation not high enough level to obtain said cooldowns or not as good as the players that killed you because you failed to escape. If you are getting cc'd in a 1v3 situation to death then you are dumb and deserved to die.
  11. Use force cloak as you charge into a group. This cuts down on the damage you will be taking. It should be ready for you every other pull. Have vette attack the stronger mob in large groups until you can get Quinn. After you get Quinn things get easier. Make sure you put him on medwatch too. The higher you get the easier it becomes.
  12. Marauders take awhile to come into their own. Until you get your top level talents you are pretty gimped. The big defensive cooldowns you also get in the later levels. But once you have all your tools you can really become a pain to kill. I play carnage spec and really enjoy it. It is more like a dance than the typical button mashing.
  13. In Return of the Jedi, while fighting the Rancor, Luke throws a rock at the door switch dropping the door on the Rancor. So there is one example of rock throwing in the movies.
