Phenom II here, it runs just fine. I am baffled as to why people immediately jump on the processor as being your problem of "poor performance". It could be a RAM issue, slow HDD issue, poor graphics card issue, poor health of your OS, poor ISP connection.

What processor/video card should I use?
Diremede replied to Beakertanks's topic in General Discussion
Look at Friendlyhobo's post. Buy an i5 sandy, its the best bang for your buck. It has more than enough performance to run this game and costs less. In most tests the new generation i7's barely performed better than the i5 but cost twice as much or more. If you really want performance out of this game don't waste your money on a high end processor. RAM and Video is where you gain the most performance from your machine, that is where you want to invest. -

i7 the best? Your joking right? I guess it does have the highest price. -
People to complain with........

Currently there are only 4 and we can't move them. Yes I saw where you guys are working on allowing us to move them, but I need more than 4. My companion takes up 1, then my abilities take up the other three and I have no more room for other stuff such as speeder bike, stims, mission items should I need to use them frequently, etc. Give us at least 6 to work with.

Maybe it's just me, but did they change the sound effects for certain blaster abilities. I swear mine sound different.

How about we just get rid of mailboxes altogether.
Diremede replied to Chevex's topic in Suggestion Box
Agreed, Ditch the mailboxes. If someone sends you a package have the package delivered to your magical galactic storage account that you can somehow magically get to all of your stuff no matter what planet you are on -
I dare anyone to say they have "no permormance issues"
Diremede replied to jameshazey's topic in General Discussion
I have no performance issues, there I said it. -
Agreed, Bowdar sucks. I tried getting him some better gear, he still sucks. He doesn't attack as well as he should and he is slow to aggro other opponents when Corso is always trying to kick their butts. Corso is better.

Why on earth would you want to invert the mouse?

You think there is loot drama now? Just wait....
Diremede replied to KetMalice's topic in General Discussion
Ya I don't get the problem here. If both players are BH's and it is an item for a BH, then why should they not both be rolling need here? It's irrelevant how they intend to use the item. -
They should allow for color crystals to simply be just that, color.

Yuck! Capes look bad. Looks like I will be gimped at level 50 cause I'm not wearing that crap in public.

Eve does not have a great space combat system. I've been playing it for years, I like the game, but would not call it's space combat great.

This must be a Troll

This is really easy to figure out if you have tool tips on. You just hover over the item and read and it tells you what to do to mod it. I know reading is hard.

This sir, is the interwebs, you will not find "mature" people here.

Unless all items of say level 25 or higher are completely dependent on the player base making and providing them, like EVE or similar games, the "economy" of this game isn't ever really going to amount to much unless you are a high level character and farm boe items that you sell at the AH and that people are dumb enough to buy. It is very easy to acquire gear in this game simply by doing missions. There is little use in this game even having and AH, sad really.

As stated, the cone direction is very unreliable but I think that has more to do with the stupid camera and targeting options. The UI needs more work to make this function better.

I notice I will use cover in a group with jedi, but even then it's rare.

Not sure what your problem is there chief. I've dumped all kinds of grey quests.

I have no idea why people want to stare at bubbles on their screens. They clearly played games in the past that had chat bubbles and now can't live without them.

Sounds like you should go back to WoW.

Customer Service? I was unaware this game had customer service. I had an issue with my account and filed a ticket. I was sent a reply about 5 hours later that they couldn't handle my issue through these channels and I would have to call them by phone, they listed a number. I called the number only to be told that due to high call volumes they can't take my call, please try back later. TRY BACK LATER? Really? This is the best you have. Even UO back in 1997 had a call center that would handle your call. Sure you might be on hold for an hour and half and I was prepared to wait that long, but you don't even have that. Sad, sad, sad. So I tried back later for 2 days, and got the same old message. So I submitted another ticket, got the same response, submitted another one, got the same response. Finally after submitting 21 tickets they fixed my account 2 days later. Ya its pretty bad.

TOR represents what is wrong with the gaming industry
Diremede replied to Stezzastez's topic in General Discussion
Every single game that ANYBODY, even Blizzard, puts out on the market has a few glitches and bugs that are found after release or where even known about at the time of release. You will be hard pressed to find many games in this day and age that haven't been patched within the first 2 weeks to 1 month after release PC, Xbox, PS3 what have you. It's just how these things are. With most games I usually wait until they are out for at least 2 months to allow for 2 patches before I will buy it and play it. With MMO's you would be waiting an eternity for patches to fix every bug and balance game play.
