I'm looking for honest suggestions here. My server has 2-3 people on fleet at peak hours. All of my friends quit, I went from running a 16man raiding guild to having a guild with nobody that has logged in for a week... and this happened in less than a month. I could server transfer and try making new friends, but I am very attached to my characters as they are. The whole point of Legacy as Bioware stated was to build a family and build a story... and now I have to change all my character names? I took 4 days off of work at launch to make sure I leveled fast enough to get my Legacy name, "Venom", and now I get screwed into having to change it? I'd like to give the game another shot, but I am so down and out about being forced to transfer and being forced to change my Legacy name that I worked so hard for and have grown so attached to... I really just don't know why I should resub.

To make me unsub and play Diablo 3. I have no idea what Bioware was thinking. The ONLY logical explanation I've come to is that they are using balancing to force class population equilibrium. I was really looking forward to 1.2, and infact, almost everything else looks great. The profession changes especially have me very excited. So let's make this simple, you need to revert all heat changes made for Merc/Commando healing. The class already plays very sluggish, very slow paced. You have to constantly be managing your output versus heat buildup, which I think makes for interesting gameplay. However, it was already on the crucible of being fun versus being an absolute pain in the ***, and these changes push it over. We needed FIXES, we needed kolto missile buffs and we needed kolto shell fixed so that it doesn't generate threat. To add heat costs to everything ONTOP of lowering healing output across the board OPTOP of nerfing our heat reduction ability ONTOP of nerfing our raid damage reduction buff... not only is it terrible and the complete opposite of the BUFFS needed to compete with other healers, but it makes no SENSE. Unless, of course, they are nerfing BH to the ground to force class population dispersion... it really is the only way they could nerf BH so hard while buffing Ops. If you HAVE to keep all the other changes you MUST revert the heat cost increases or I will be playing Diablo 3 in May not SWTOR, a feeling which the VAST majority of Merc/Commandos share... see reddit:

Very happy, I have nobody to blame but myself for not pre-ordering earlier. The system was very clearly defined when I ordered in November, I understand it's "up to 5 days" not "5 days". I will be very happy if I get in on Friday, but I wont be pissed off if it's saturday. How the children here started complaining 7 days early I have no idea.

There was a problem in beta with texture resolutions being backwards, it's possible you played with low rez in beta and now you're on medium-high.

There wasn't server lag there was you have a piece of crap computer lag. And WoW's launch was terrible because they DIDN'T have a staggered release. I know you kids were not around back then, but trust me- staggered release is the way to go.
