When I first hit 50 and got to Ilum, I didn't understand the concept of PVP areas so I happily rolled into that zone and went about flipping our base like that was part of some type of quest that I could complete and get money for. I was pretty surprised when, after flipping our base and the area closest to our base, a bunch of red players showed up, circled up on me, and murdered me pretty quickly. I was so confused. Why are these mobs so difficult to kill?? Why do they move around?? Oh... They're jerks that wanna kill me.

As far as the quality of PVP'ers go, it's met my expectations. What irritates the hell out of me though are the amount of ragequitters. I have never seen the amount of ragequitting that I have on this server. At least 2-3 people will quit before the match even starts, and half the team will quit if we lose a node/door fairly quickly. I'd say that's my biggest disappointment with the server.

Jesus, you people will complain about anything. Personally I think the animation looks cool as hell, and I hope they never change it. If an ability animation change causes you to stop playing a class completely, I really don't know what to say to you other than stop being so damn picky.

It's been stated in a few other threads that GG is moving. Guerrilla too I believe. But we'll let them give the official word.

Only one incident I can think of comes up here, and that was a few days ago when there was a supposed "server development" night where people could basically form kickball pugs and que for ranked. Apparently the memo didn't get out to everyone and GG qued. Eh... oh well. However, you do know that they hosted a few ranked kickball matches themselves a few nights ago, right? It was quite a bit of fun actually, I wish they'd give us lowly scrubs a chance to play with the big boys more often tbh. Shout out to GG for inviting me to that btw. As stated before, you wanna report them for stuff go ahead, but for the love of chocolate chips and gravy boats can we return this thread to it's original purpose?

I'm sure you've been told this already but you're clicking a couple abilities in the middle of battle. Keybind anything and everything that you would ever need to hit while on the move/in the middle of a fight. I wrote a blog post on keybinding abilities a while ago. I would never recommend trying to RP in the fleet cantina for this reason. Nar shadda tends to offer better opportunities (and better people) to RP with. You can also pay attention to the un-official ebon hawk website for announcements of community events and such.

Nah, you can still get in there. Still aren't able to see the capping beam, still aren't able to see the player name, when you select them the targeting reticle doesn't show up. I'm done complaining about it. It's gotten to the point where I will stand inside the bunker when known corner cappers are in the warzone and I will sit there just to ruin their fun. That is until they get the rest of their premade to murder me and they cap the node while I'm trying to run back.

That's unfortunate. Well... Guess we just have to show 'em who's boss then eh?

I kinda have to agree with Jerc here. Although I don't really think win-trading is the proper way of getting a good name on this server, I also understand the fact that they want to come here and be competitive as quickly as possible. A few matches to get some extra coms, I don't have a problem with for these guys. If they do it constantly to get to the point where they are min/maxed faster than any other ranked team on this server then that's what I have a problem with. For the most part, this guild has seemed to be friendly in warzones and have a decent attitude, saying gg after matches and all that.

As the leader of AB PVP, I'll join if there needs to be some sort of summit. However, I think the toughest thing about creating ranked here is schedules. There are a ton of talented players but not everyone keeps the same hours. This is the toughest part of leading/fielding a ranked team. I think the best course of action to accommodate for this is to hold ranked matches during the weekend, maybe around noon EST. The only problem with holding them on the weekends is half the team will probably be hung over. Kidding... Sorta lol. Anyway, as Kloma said, we're trying to field a team. We really are. Maybe what we need to do is 'schedule' a few matches against similarly geared/talented groups to start building that team cohesion that Sindol mentioned.

More booze is always needed. I tend to PVP better after a few drinks. XD

You're probably right, but I throw out my AOE taunt whenever it's off cooldown. The single-target taunt would not have made much of a difference at all IMO. However this isn't about my performance in that warzone. The real point is that this is pretty much the experience of anyone pugging on the rep-side. It happens a lot.

I can't tell you how many times I'd be standing at mid with a Guerrilla premade about to score, furiously spam-clicking the area that the ball spawns in. Like my pimp hand, I keep my clicking finger strong. And without me being stunned or controlled in any way, one of them walks right up and grabs it. As for the rest of this thread..... /popcorn
