KBN, what is the definitive proof that the relic only absorbs 1300 once in six seconds? It seems way under powered / irrelevant if that is all it can do. I am considering the relic's usefulness from a PvP perspective only. I have read all the posts, but now that the god mode is shut off I want to 100% understand the mechanic. It would be too nice of BW to explain these things and alleviate any doubt as to how they work, it seems.

A little clarification here... Incon's full team was queued around 9 pm, sat in queue waiting for over an hour for the big talkers but they declined to get a team together so we pulled in all interested parties for some kickball. After chopping up the teams, the group you faced was the team that happened to hit the button first. Also, after that match, both kickball teams queued up and popped against each other twice more before we called it a night. We were kinda hoping you'd stick around for at least one more, if you queued again and didn't pop, I blame Bioware... Either way its good to see a new team out, shoot me a message in game or on enjin and we can swap voice server details to help coordinate future matches. Incon is always in Ranked queue on Mon / Wed nights from 9(ish) to midnight EST, see you there!

OP, the sky isn't falling. PvP is just slightly slower to pop than in the past. There have been quality premades on both sides and I have won solo matches on all of my toons over the weekend. I disagree with someone else's estimate that 80% of the serious PvP population left also.

Well, as you can gather, Wed night 7/3 was the best night of the recent push to get ranked matches on TEH. Shout outs to all the guilds and fill-ins that gave it a run. With the holiday weekend, I expect it will be hit or miss, but if you find yourself in a mumble full of good players over the weekend, don't be scared to post here and ask around, maybe we can pickup some matches on Sat or Sun. If not, better be ready for Monday!

Just an update, Monday night saw some action vs JEDI, and then SC got into the game and stayed queuing till after midnight! Alot of really great matches, big props to the teams for coming correct. SC isn't sure about this Wednesday, Incon will def be around, we will be hoping for some more teams to come around and keep the ranked snowball rolling down the hill. If you are a guild officer / pvp organizer and want to coordinate queuing on ranked nights, please send me an ingame on (Richgoose - Pub) or (Poorgoose - Imp) or hit me on enjin, we can swap voice server info, which really facilitates getting teams in queue. seems like that is a resource for aggregating solo players / small groups into 8-man teams, a needed resource to be sure but not a substitute for what I am trying to accomplish.

A little more than communications have taken place; over the past few weeks there have been ACTUAL RANKED MATCHES happening on TEH. Inconceivable's core group has taken the desire to play ranked matches and turned it into a great effort to be present every Monday and Wednesday night between 9 pm - 12 am EST. Our approach has been "if you build it, they will come"; we have been rewarded with several nights of long waits followed by premade queueing for reg WZ's, some matches against GG as an "opponent of last resort", and finally have popped some decent matches against SC. Much appreciation goes out to Ralgus for grabbing the ball and doing the work to field some teams the past few nights. With server transfers draining some of the top talent off of the server, it is do or die time for PVP on this server. There are surely a healthy amount of PVP'ers still present, we just need a twofold approach to strengthening the community. The first part needs to happen in-guild, organizing players and stand in's to be prepared for ranked nights. The second part needs to happen here, coordination between guilds to assure you have someone to pop against when you are able to get your 8 to the queue. My intention is for this thread to foster that inter-guild communication, and inspire those who desire to do ranked to make the effort and field a team. Please leave the trolling and back and forth shots in the hate thread. Guilds actively fielding ranked teams: Inconceivable Silent Council Pax Imperius JEDI Project Mayhem Guilds that may or may not be able to field ranked teams in the near future: The Core The Azure Blades (Lacking #'s for a team, very potent fill-in's) Council of Draay / OoI Nemesis Guilds that have proved nothing : Fully Buffed Republic The Watchmen (transferred?) These lists are short and surely incomplete, so guild leaders / pvp officers let me know where your group stands and I will update as needed. Like I said, the times we have been running are mon & wed, 9pm - 12am, if there is another window for ranked action on TEH, lets discuss it and get the ball rolling!

^^This. Whenever I browse the forums I try to keep in mind that most of the negativity comes from people who wil always be crying about something; most of us are busy queuing up and enjoying the FUN game. Props to OP for a ray of sunshine in this dismal place
