  1. What I like is the people that say "ZOMG THERES NO INCENTIVE TO PLAY THIS GAME LIEK THERE IS IN OTHERES". Well if you need incentives to keep you playing a game then why in the hell are you playing it? You're obviously not having fun so just stop. It would be idiotic to do anything else.
  2. My last guild in WoW required you to give your first name. It was actually quite nice calling someone by their actual name rather than some abbreviation of their fantasy name. Not a big deal but I can see why some wouldn't want to give up their personal info.
  3. I bet the guy would stand in fire tbqh. So no dps is not the sole thing that makes a person good. I can't count the number of times I've hear... damn if only I woulda stayed alive, woulda topped the charts. Yeah well maybe you should learn to stay alive then.
  4. Can't we all just be excited for what looks to be an awesome patch that's coming out soon?
  5. Well the idea is much akin to rifting in Aion. I find that it's a great idea to just have some spontaneous and random world pvp and actually get something going between factions. It seems like the game could use some non-scripted competition. It also gives a lot of people who might be bored at level 50 something to do. Finding the shuttle to the other factions areas and then going and taking out quest hubs and being a little disruptive would be an excellent and fun time dump.
  6. Vocal minority as almost all the players having fun with the game are in the game having fun. Go figure? There are some issues but nothing is exactly of the 'gamebreaking' variety.
  7. Space slug, I've been seeing the population around primetime anything between 175-225 Imp side. ~60 people per planet. Game is far from dead.
  8. So just doin some daydreaming today while leveling an alt and was thinking that it's a bit weak that we can't get into the other factions areas/planets. Thought hmmm, I wonder what it would be like to have a shuttle spawn at random times in zones that could transport you to a zone that is owned by another faction and you would be able to go raid enemy quest hubs and get some ganking going. Imo it's kind of an idea worth discussion as I'd like to see what other people think. Thoughts?
  9. Vanilla WoW wasn't that good at all. At the time BC came out I had 150 DAYS played on my character. I am willing to bet over half of that time was spent jumping between the pillars on the IF bridge. Sure I had a good time raiding from what I remember but that's all pure nostalgia. Looking back if I had that same game today I wouldn't have given it more than 2 weeks on my harddrive. Oh and who are you to say what 'endgame' is to some people OP? I believe it's whatever you make out of it when you get there. If you want to raid or pvp you raid and pvp or if you want to level more characters and experience their class stories then you do just that. Your opinion is not something that everyone else shares.
  10. Copying WoW or listening to its player base? I would guess the latter rather than the former. Some people are kinda dumb.
  11. WoW raids don't scale with tanks... fail to see how this is a step back as some say or even that it's a problem. There are naturally less tanks anyways so why should guilds be forced to get 4 consistent tanks rather than 2? It's difficult to even get 2 that are dedicated most of the time.
  12. The problem with Assassins is that compared to almost every other class you have to try about 10x harder to be good at than other classes. Don't get me wrong I've had great success with my Assassin at level 50. Constantly topping total damage done and medals in warzones and getting good reviews from people that I ran with for heroics. Just to give an example on my Assassin I have both of my bottom bars keybound, with all the spells that I use whereas on my Merc I have about half as many keybinds. It's absolutely insane how focused and respsonsive you have to be as an Assassin and while it was fun to begin with it just became monotonous. Sure you have a ton of tools but it doesn't make you better than other classes it just means that if you know exactly when to use those tools you can be just as good as any other class. If you want to roll a stealth rogue type class you may as well just play and operative at this point .
  13. Because being able to effectively "rent" items is great for the game right? This is something that you scew up on once and every single time after that you make sure you're buying the right thing if you're not stupid.
  14. I think what you fail to realize that people have also played MMO's before at various levels and we don't need you or "pro" gamers to tell us if the combat system is unresponsive.
