  1. While your statement is mostly true, it doesn't account for the "pet" training droid. Description is as OP has listed; yet it does not even remotely behave that way. An error on their part, or a last minute coding change to the droid.
  2. I didn't read the whole thread, but to answer the OP: I'm sorry, but that did not happen to me. So this isn't the case with all orders. I preordered from Origin on 11/10 and got an actual preorder code in my email the same day. I also entered it on the website the same day and when I looked at my account yesterday, I am showing that correct date for early access. Now, that being said, I do not reflect any orders on my pending or past order history on the website. That part is confuzzling, I will admit.
  3. If you believe this, then you lack foresight. I truly and honestly am not trying to put you down nor anyone else who believes the same, and I will actually apologize in advance if it comes off that way. Your statement would be true IF AND ONLY IF they knew FOR SURE that they could deliver without a single hiccup the days we would hypothetically be given as our start day. But some part of you (collective "you" that is) has got to know that this isn't possible. There are way too many variables involved here for them to predict with any level of certainty. So unfortunately for those of us who still aren't online, leaving us "in the dark" so to speak is still better for them, because to be quite honest; there is likely a very much smaller number of people complaining and raising an uproar than there would be were they to give us more information in advance that they might end up having to back out on.
  4. OP you should know better than to use logic on these forums. It will fall on deaf ears, unfortunately. /sadface
  5. Oh for crying out loud, caveat emptor. While I'm sure it's frustrating not knowing when you will have access, being frustrated does not make it false advertising. Since you want to turn this into a legal thing, feel free; as their wording will protect them. "Up to" 5 days. Whether you like it or not, whether you think it's fair or not; you should never assume anything when it comes to advertising.
  6. You're right! When it was gone...I kept looking to that corner of my screen...*sniff*
  7. And it's been said that their preorders spiked enormously in July. So all is not hopeless. However, I am not counting on anything. And I am patient, I can wait. Nov. 11th here.
  8. They are supposed to start billing for the remainder of the balance beginning on the 16th, so you are correct about that. As far as it not showing up in your pending orders, I don't know why it does not. I have however asked Origin about that and was told they could see my order based off the order number I gave them from my confirmation email.
  9. While I can appreciate the level of anticipation (I preordered in Nov. so I can feel the pain), they would tick someone off regardless. And to be honest; I'd rather they be overly cautious then not enough so. Think we should all just wait and see how it pans out.
  10. You can "preorder" one now, yes. If you go to your account there should be a link towards the bottom directing you to a preorder page.
  11. Last I read via twitter updates was that the product codes aren't going to begin to be delivered in your email until the 16th. So the only code you conceivably have entered at the moment is the preorder code. Sounds like what you are seeing is correct.
