At the moment however, it's a lot more than a movie costs. People typically don't buy games they've been told suck by giant review websites.

I asked people to rate it how they feel. But I am sure a lot of people feel great about it, and possible future buyers deserve to be made aware of how good we think it is.

Dear SWTOR fans, SWTOR needs you. Let me explain how. Firstly, like many of you, I am a previous WoW fanboy turned SWTOR fan. I absolutely love this game, for genuine reasons. Those being the dynamic combat, great planets, Star Wars lore, and dynamic storytelling as well as the PvP (ironically I actually believe it is better in this game than in WoW -- why are people criticising it? it just came out!) World of Warcraft fanboys as well as other competing MMO's are spamming metacritic with low rating reviews. While many of these low reviews are genuine, I assure you the majority are not. I have seen forum threads requesting 0 ratings with modifiable copy+paste reviews to meet character count. http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/star-wars-the-old-republic Rate it up. Do your game a service. It makes me sad to see such hard work scoring so low because of spammers. If you dislike the game, rate it how you feel. But if you love the game, please vote it as highly as you feel about it.

I'd just like to preface this post with the fact that it is not a QQ thread, and that I am thoroughly enjoying this game and think that planets such as Alderaan, Tython and Hoth look beautiful. Has there been any word on higher-resolution textures, anti-aliasing in the graphics menu or any word for that matter on extended graphical options coming for launch or a later date? Thanks
