  1. No... You can multi-box swtor with only one PC. I'm a little out of the loop, but I bet it's actually easier to set up that way. In truth, people don't tend to multibox because it's easy. They tend to do it because it's hard. I takes a lot of fiddling to set everything up so that your toons work together. It's a nice little technical challenge to get it all right so that you can run instances and whatnot. The Devs in previous games have typically found the boxers to be Mostly Harmless, and have given them their blessing. No need to get all negative about it. It's just another way to enjoy the game.
  2. They're easy to miss. My local Target, Wal-mart and Besy Buy sell them. (northern georgia) http://www.ea.com/1/game-cards
  3. No idea about the expansion, but I know for a fact that you can purchase Cartel Coins with the EA Game Cards. Not the SWTOR branded game time card, but the generic EA game cards. Those cards work in pretty much any EA game. SIMS, Lord of Ultima game cash, SWTOR CC, you name it.
  4. /signed And I don't really see much of an abuse angle. Already with just two level 50s, my companion is a beast in the early levels. But I expect it to level out when I get higher levels. I'd view legacy datacrons more on par with the WoW heirloom gear. Just makes life so much easier for alt-oholics. (unless you mean abuse in early PvP.... But then, that'd be just like the bankrolled twinks in WoW, which people live with just fine)
  5. My gf applied to OTG, but got hung up when she was asked to get on Mumble. Is voice-chat a requirement for joining? It's not something we typically do because it makes it harder for me to interact with her while we game. After 11 years, it's just one of the many ground rules we've had to work out for game time. No Raiding - No Vent - No Skipping Showers.
  6. Who is LBIC/LBCP? I tend not to pay attention to all of the text flying around people's heads in SWTOR, so forgive me for being dense.
  7. The only reason I asked for the largest was in hopes that I'd find the guilds who actually have a decent number of people online at the same time. One of my alts is in a casual guild right now. The people are super friendly and I think they raid form time to time. But whenever I log on, there is no one on. Kinda of makes me sad. Having 15+ people on during EST prime time is plenty as far as things go for a fun, casual atmosphere. If the guild also has a cross faction sister guild, that's even better. We have alts of both factions.
  8. Which guilds are the largest casual guilds on this server and do they span both factions? In our other MMOs, the gf and I usually gravitate to these types of guilds. We're really not into running anything more complicated than a flashpoint or world boss here and there. Mostly, we're huge altoholics who just like friendly people to chat with when we play. We like to log in and have a decent group of regulars online to chatter with while we level/craft. Any guilds like that here?
  9. I don't RP, but I love RP servers. In AoC, the RP server (wiccana) was the only one where the player population wasn't completely toxic. In LotRO, I rolled on Landroval, and had such a good time there. From just listening to the hobbit RP in the Shire, to catching a music concert on Bree. It was always so relaxing and chill. The gf and I probably won't get into early access until this weekend. So I've been spending this time trying to size up the player community and decide on a server. We've been discussing rolling on an RP server, just so we get to play with a more mature crowd. As long as we don't disrupt your RP fun, would we still be welcome in this community if we aren't into RP ourselves? What are the chances that there would be a non-rp guild to join so we could make friends with like-minded players?
