  1. There are countless reasons for choosing one side over the other. But one of the biggest reasons (according to posts here on forum) is character and ship design or looks. And that is also normal ... up to a point. I simply can't understand how a design of your dress is more important then choices you make? I know this is a game but it would be interesting if some psychologist took this trend and made some analysis considering human behavior. "I wanna look cool (even if I will not register my looks after I had spent some time playing) and that's the most important aspect for me!" "But ... doesn't it bother you that you have to kill or torture so many? Doesn't being evil bother you" "No ... looks matter more. It's how others judge me." Like I said. It's only a game. But our personality is real and ever-present. And it shows in places like games. Where people are hidden by their avatar. I am also biased or faulty. I have my own personality, but it's the same in real life or in games. And no ... I am not better because of it. Just expressing my thoughts.
  2. Hi I love my watchman build as I get enough fun from it even though I have yet to try something else. I would like to clarify my understanding of Dot. My main abilities are "cauterize" and "overload saber". Both do Dot but their application with "zen" is different. If I use "zen" and then "overload saber", I loose 3 stacks of "zen". One per every physical attack (every1.5 sec) i did after I had used "overload saber". If I use "cauterize" with "zen" I noticed that those 5 stacks of "zen" are depleting automatically and not as in "overload saber" example. I understand that as "cauterize" is Dot attack itself where "overload saber" is a buff for the next 3 attacks. Am I right so far? If I am right then the best rotation in my opinion is: zen, overload saber (then do 3 attacks and thus deplete 3 stacks of zen), cauterize (for the other 2 stacks of zen). Do you agree with my thinking or am I missing something?
  3. Hi I've tried several warzones and I understand valor an XP gain. It's medals you get for completing certain roles I don't understand. Could someone explain what do I have to do in certain warzone in order to get more medals. I already established that just killing is not going to get me more valor points. So what do I have to be more focused on in the future? Or are there two different types of warzone battle. In first one you try to kill as many players as you can and will get the same amount of valor as if you only defended a single turret all the time (Alderaan)? thank you
  4. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Really. An outstanding guide for newbies. As more or less fresh MMO player I was aware of certain mechanics in group but I didn't know how exactly they worked. This guide explains a lot. I will definitely read it few more times. How does the marking (kill order) work? What do those marks mean? Do they have predetermined meaning like flame always means one thing and lightning bolt another? Or are they randomly chosen and are only symbols to mark the targets? Is it always good to do supports first? Like healers and low level XP NPCs? Are there other such good guides? I would really need them.
