  1. Many people (like myself) subbed for a month to see the direction of the game. Due to the fact that we recieved a free month it makes no sense financially not to invest in the game for atleast one month by subbing. From a pure logic viewpoint you have already spent enough money to atleast warrant playing the game for two months. We will see the real numbers starting next month (end of feb. into march) when I predict that subscription numbers will begin to drop. All you see within the swtor community is people crying about nerfs and balancing - the dev team is answering by constantly nerfing and balancing - this should be a good thing, right? Wrong, due to the lack of endgame content the development is obviously being staggered due to all of the exploits and balancing issues that are currently in-game. It will be months before they iron this stuff out - and frankly I can play some FTP games until they do.
  2. Between the population dropping - people simply not entering the pvp queue because they hate the entire system - and the lack of combined server queues I wait 10-30 minutes for a warzone in the AM before work. When I get home frankly I am too tired to wait even the 5-10 minutes between queues before feeling like I am falling asleep at the wheel. While the dev team is adding content it would be nice if I could get some faster queues by combining server queues into a battlegroup. Atleast then I would continue to pay a monthly sub without it feeling like I am throwing money away. As it stands I have cancelled and will not be back until some major changes / new content is added. I really do not want to go back to HoN or WoW - please for the love of all that is holy combine server queues into a larger battlegroup!
  3. I cancelled my sub due to long queue times for warzones and the nerfbat swinging wildly. Before you flame me - it's not because I don't enjoy this game - I do. However until they combine server queues and shift their focus to new content instead of constant nerfs or spending all of their energy addressing exploits that made it to the live game. I simply can not see any rational reason to fund this game's development. Let's be honest we are paying to beta test at this point.
  4. So this must be the reason that EA stocks took a nose dive? Due to the game being a large success...
  5. I would imagine swtor is losing subs at a staggering rate due to their recipe for disaster in game development at this point. That is probably what is the driving force behind their guild leader development summit. The same people they are inviting are more then likely the same people they listened to in beta. The ones who cried and cried for them not to change queues and left existing exploits in the game so they could exploit them when it went live. I check the dev tracker and patch notes - all I see is nerf after nerf after nerf. Where is the new content? I think these guys better shift their focus because this is getting out of hand.
  6. If you want to know what happens to customers who get a generic computer generated response to their problems - why don't you take a look at a company called comcast. They were one of the first companies to implement an automated computer customer-service line. They were also one of the first to shut it down and go back to actual responses after losing a substantial customer base.
  7. My server has gone from a being a full server to becoming a light population in a month's time. I am complaining about the battleground queues being server specific - the queue times are ridiculous. The battle ground normalizing everyone's stats is also broken - If I am level 20 in a battleground I should feel like I am 20. I don't want to hit for 2k with my ability that hits for 500 outside of bg's. Combine server queues - setup additional level brackets and take out normalization. I think you would be pleasantly surprised at how fun lowbie pvp could become if it was actually item dependant.
  8. These queue times are ridiculous and I don't get much time in now that I am back to work after the holidays. As it stands there is a thirty minute queue time on my server - only to end up on a team of afk botters. Something needs to be done about this - I cancelled my sub this morning until swtor adds something worth paying 16 bucks a month for. With all the FTP games out there I think I will have to wait a month or two before even reconsidering reactivation unless these guys do some major changes.
  9. I wake up at 7 and have to work at 9:30 giving me two and a half hours before work to get some pvp in. When I have to wait 20 minutes of those two and a half hours to even get a queue - and then people are afk botting - yes thats a reason to quit.
  10. Or lose me forever. Your servers are already light population apparently your plan to stick to server only queues has a major flaw. Not to mention there are now afk botters which we cant even vote kick if we wanted to - and apparently bioware takes a month to ban them after mass reports. If I can not queue for bg's in this game while you add content then I will not be paying 16 bucks a month to sit on my thumbs.. I can assure you that.
  11. This morning before work I queued up for some pvp. I wait 20 minutes for the first queue to pop since its light population already on all servers. Then I have afk botters in my game and we lose horribly since we are now six manning the bg. I am about to cancel my sub.
  12. Well I didn't exploit it - I am simply repeating what I was told on ventrillo. When a guild buddy said - and I quote "Holy **** I just got 400 valor from killing that republic" That was early in the AM yesterday before my guild formed an op and preceded to camp ilum all day - as many others did as well.
  13. Are you kidding me? My guild has a ventrillo and yes they were doing it. Yes it was broken - and yes it was exploited. Why do you think bioware shut the servers down for an emergency patch? Oh wait.. another exploiter who doesn't want a rollback - Ok whatever. 400 valor a kill is what people were getting from freshly ressed players. Guildies who were 50 and valor 26 were unlocking champion titles in hours of gameplay. Why is this not broken?
  14. They literally went from valor 40-60 and even 60-90 in one day. There are multiple warlords now because of said exploit. The freshly ressed were worth 400 valor a kill IN A FULL OP - and freshly ressed! I know it's gamebreaking and should be rolled back. And of course you will not see any proof - people are turning off their titles now or reverting back to their champion title for fear of actually getting in trouble because of said exploiting. Make no mistake though - just like the last exploit where people leveled to 50 in a few days - they will turn on their titles sometime next week when all this blows over. Then you will see a million and one warlords on your server.
  15. Obvious exploiter is obvious. Freshly ressed republicans were worth 400 valor a pop. I am talking about camping a medstation killing you as you spawn for 400 valor. That is what people are talking about.
