  1. Hiya Shadowlands Forgotten Reaper is looking for a couple of like minded raiders that want to see the game despite the fact that they have busy lives. We have been around since pre-launch and have been working on content consistently with a mindset that Real Life is greater than game. We are currently 1/5 in HM Asation. We have a solid 8 man team and carry a roster of 12 or so that all see raid time. We are looking to add on 1 more dps and 1 more healer that will allow all of us the freedom to have a life outside of game. We raid 3 x week (Sun, Mon, Tues 8pm EST) . No pre-reqs on attendance as we work everyone in that wants to raid via a schedule that is maintained on our guild website. Expectations of our raiders are that you are 25+ years of age, and that you are responsible to be the best that you can be when it comes to gear (augments and stats) and spell rotation without being chained to your computer. No worries on gear to join. We will gear you so just know your stuff or be ready to learn it. If interested, please check us out at http://forgottenreaper.guildlaunch.com/ See you in game!
  2. So....skipping through is good if that is how you want to play. Not skipping allows you more control over your character and companions. You build rep with your companions (if they are out) by selecting things that will give them a positive affection result to you. You also can determine whether or not you are moving more towards dark or light based upon your answers. If you don't care about that you are good to go. Play the game as you see fit. Have fun with it. I for one love the scenes and only skip through the repeatable dailies that I already know how I would respond. Edit: Oh..also, some responses will open up different endings (follow-up quests) based upon light or dark choices, if you didn't know.
  3. No..they need an active subscription or so I thought.
  4. What other newly released MMO's are out there that have held your attention, that are without bugs? And so what they were reported in Beta, everything is prioritized and implemented as soon as it can be. Coming from an IT background, some bugs are bigger than others and will take more time to fix. Some bugs are wrapped into other bugs and have to be rolled out together. In either case, you cannot expect everything to be fixed on day 2. Either report your issue and know that it will be fixed asap, or leave for one of those 'other games' that you eluded to.
  5. You have no idea what you are talking about casual vs hard....pvp vs pve. Another useless wall of text.
  6. Wow.....so a server queue is a lithmus for determining server population? Give me a break, people whine about queues and Bio ups the capacity to make them happy, and then they whine about not having a queue.
  7. Agreed. Or at least some of the pieces should be from raids with the other pieces made from the crafting.
  8. . Misread the question. ignore this response
  9. Can't say it better. I happen to believe that a companion's gear comes second to a live member, and would be upset if someone rolled need over my gear for thier companion. But playing with people of like minds is always the best option.
  10. Whatever you are hitting, your pet will hit if you hit thier attack button, or rather, whatever you have targeted. If you get attacked your pet will automatically attack the first thing that hit you. If you want to change what they are attacking, target the mob and hit thier attack button.
  11. I noticed on the Sith side, that the map would not completely fill in until a particular area was discovered. This area had nothing to do with some of the known areas that were already discoverd but not on the map yet. Once I found this other area (which was a heroic area that had a quest just for entering the zone - not a quest that sent me to the zone)...the entire map filled in, event the areas that I know had been to. Double check to see if there are any other grey areas besides the spacedock that are greyed..go there and see if that discovery doesn't open the dock. It may be a bug..but given what I experienced..I dont know
  12. I have noticed this happening. Once I get to the ship, if I go and interact with something else on the ship like run a ship mission, she is ready to talk when I get back. It may take a minute or two. It seems to be a bug though.
  13. They will not grow with you, you will be able to mod them up to a certain extent, but eventually they should be replaced with an item with better stats. The only thing that grows as you level are your own personal base stats and those of your companions. Obtaining better gear is a never ending endeaver in an MMO.
  14. This is a good idea. Or at least an in game damage meter that will show only your meter...one that cannot be shared so the people that truly want to improve can, but it wont turn into a tool to aggravate the people that just want to play. No outside customization imo.

    Mod Question

You do not have to be at a mod station to add a mod. You can ctrl - right click the item to mod it (I think..Im not in game atm). The stations are there just to teach you about mods imo.
  16. QFT. Preach it to them! Agreed
  17. Agreed...or at least pop up a low populations suggestion to new people as they log in for the first time. The suggestion would be based upon thier physical address (east/west). That is how other games have done it.
  18. So basically......cause your computer sucks...you suck at pvp....or you just cant play altogether....make getting datacrons easy for you? WoW. Why not just ask BioWare to start out out with the additional stats without having to go and get them.....over and over? Give me a break.
  19. It makes them play better, because they can just queue up a series of things to one click. Retarded playing for lazy people imo.
  20. In addition, you make friends...you find the good people...and you develop relationships. Jerks will end up on ignorel lists and need to have better behavior to be sought out for groups. Building a network is part of a MMO imo, making it more fun overall. WoW destroyed it with the LFG Tool across servers, there is no accountability, no network, no need to get to know who you are playing with.
  21. Save them up for later. Sell them once there becomes a need.
  22. Okay....thanks for that. WoW was still on my computer...it is now gone. Liberating.
