  1. You are correct...LOL guess it had been longer than I had thought. Thank you
  2. Not really a new player here but I have been on a long (about 6+ month or so) break from the game. I had played Knight of the fallen empire up to the end (Chapter 7? I think). I was on the planet doing the missions for the smuggler, the hut (scientist I think?), Jedi, and troopers. I logged back in because I thought that there was a new chapter available. I saw that the "play" button was light up on the upper right and I thought that would put me back to where I had been in the story. But it seems to be starting me back at chapter 1? Do I have to play all through the earlier chapters to get back to where I had ben (and has all my rep I had gotten disappeared?) My character is still level 65 and I seem to have the gear I had acquired. Not sure what is up. Am I missing something? Thanks for any help.
  3. I think that title says it all. I was an early subscriber to SWTOR. Did Beta, leveled 3 toons to 50, got bored with the lack of endgame after doing the raids for a bit, guild broke up, went back to WOW to play with the pandas...the usual story. But I have only just re-subed and was eager to try the Galactic Starfighter. I was very disappointed to see that it was only PVP. I know that some people like it but, I personally HATE PVP in any form. But I tried it anyway. I have to say that it was better than I had expected which, in some ways, was even more disappointing. I would think that this could easily translate to PVE. Is there any plan to do something like that that. The current PVE starfighter portion of SWTOR was always a disappointment to me. The Galactic Starfighter game seems to have a lot of potential for PVE content. Have the developers given any hints about this ever going PVE? As I said I have been away for a while.
  4. Hi I was a long time alienware fan. I get a new PC every 2 years and the past 4 have been top of the line bleeding edge alienware desk tops. Last summer I decided to go the laptop path and got an Mx17....again absolute top of the line that I could. It was a total POS. What I ended up with was a random blue screen of death generator. Sometimes I could play (this was back when I was playing WOW) a few hours and sometimes a few minutes before it locked up. I spent hours on the phone with tech support. We reinstalled everything that could be, they sent someone out to repalce the video cards and memory chips. They finaly sent me a whole new machine and the same damn issue keep hapening. Clearly it was not a bug, I think it was a design flaw in how the machine was made. I am speculating here but it may have happened when the machien cut between the baseline graffics chip (the chip that runs the graffics an a computer with NO dedicated graffics card) and the dedicated card. The system was desigend to only use the graffics accerator card when it is needed and that cutover from one graffics controler to the other seemed to be the issue. Finaly after a total 3 months a 2 computers I sent the damn thing back, got a refund. That was not easy to get BTW, they did not want to refund my $ I had to thereatan to get a lawer involved (I pointed out that anyone willing to spend over 4K on a computer to play stupid video games could propbabaly afford a lawer) and I sent them a copy of the lemon laws of the state where I live (they cover PCs as well as cars where I live). So I got my money back, called Falcon Northwest and got a desk top from them and love it. I may try a gamining lapetop again but it will NOT be an alienware...too bad, like I said I was a long term customer but not any more I am afraid. Dale
  5. Not a character name, but I did see a guy with the guild name "This is not the guild you are looking for"
