  1. it's really up to you. Yes you get perks if you subscribe, but most of those perks can be bought off the GTN i've noticed. People have been putting unlocks for a lot of things there for people who don't want to subscribe. I'm personally thinking of unsubbing and doing that. With more bugs, lag, and character balance issues it's not worth the $15 anymore to me. You have to do what you think is best for yourself so. Weigh the pros and cons.
  2. Well that's an easy answer.....shut the game down forever.
  3. 100% agree with everything you said. If you want to punish the people that are for leaving a warzone because of a bunch of idiots then punish the idiots as well for being brain dead.
  4. Ouch, that's sucks.....good luck, hope it turns out for you.
  5. And here I thought leaving and giving them a few months to sort out all the bugs and crap would be enough time. Guess I was wrong.
  6. 39 days left on my subscription. Already uninstalled and playing TERA. Reasons for leaving: 1. Way too linear. After leveling 4 characters to 50 it's boring and dull seeing the exact same planets over and over in the same order. 2. PVP: BW deciding to take out ranked WZ's from 1.2 less then 24 hours then the patch was coming live. Seriously, they couldn't figure out it was broken before then? The horrid expertise change (should be for damage reduction only, not almost double the dmg done compared to healing) 3. Dead server...and plz don't suggest to level on another server. been there, done that, 3 times already and eventually they all end up dead. 4. 1.3 has nothing appealing to me. really? lfg tool for server only. uh huh, that will go over well with the dead servers. Should've put in server transfer first imo.
  7. I would have to go with 1: merge servers or offer character transfers I come from a standard server so it's not really an issue for me, but to the many others stuck on a constant light server I can feel your pain. Yes new content will bring some new players to the game, but where do you think they'll go to play? NOT the light servers, they'll probably pick the more heavily populated servers, leaving the light servers still in the same situation. Yes new content will bring back some of the old players, but what happens when they finish that new content? They'll leave again to wait for the next content to come out leaving the same effect as before. It's a never ending cycle that needs to be stopped. With server merges or transfers, even if people leave till new content comes out at least the ones staying with the game will still have people to play with.
  8. Funny, I've seen a lot of negative criticism and good criticism titles, but I always wonder why the moderator's take the negative ones so hurtfully and close their threads. But any good threads stay? If I were a dev I think I would want the negative criticism as well just to see on how they can make things better. Instead they shudder in a corner crying saying, "OMG please someone take that nasty criticism away before it hurts me".
  9. Nah, only 10 days left on my sub and GW2 is preordered. Really tried to like the game, unsubbed then subbed again, but after trying and trying this isn't for me. Nothing really appealing to me in 1.2. None of the main problems with pvp are really getting fixed and with 3 50's now I find pve extremely boring. Good luck to the rest of you that bare with it. Have fun and take care.
  10. You say you use a variety of skills? If that is the case then use some of those other skills to interrupt a heal. There are other ways to interrupt us besides just using that 1 interrupt you know. Knock back, push, forcechoke are just a couple. You sir, are the one that's really, really bad.
  11. Sub ends in a few days so my answer is no. 1. I'm huge in pvp and mmos but imo this game is lacking in both. 2. You can level all the characters you want but besides the class story the rest is all the same, dull and boring. 3. The raids are far too easy. Lacks any challenge at all.
  12. No. While I do enjoy pve very seldom, I'm huge in pvp. To me SWTOR has no appeal in the pvp aspect for me. I'm tired of playing Huttball all the time against my own guild because the opposing faction won't que. And to me, open world pvp is a joke. There are way too many bugs that need to be ironed out and fixed. balancing issues, pvp issues, etc.
  13. 1. I ordered in a STORE as well. 2. Research is a wonderful thing.
  14. I hear ya on that one. My husband will get a tiny nibble of it then off to Afghanistan he goes Hope it works out for him and he can get some time on it. Prayers are with you both and that he comes home safe.
  15. In no way did BW mislead anyone. I just posted where they stated the sooner you put in your code the sooner you get in. So please tell me how it is misleading to customers when the information is there.
  16. You said you ordered yours from origin correct? Well when you go to the order page there is a little ? beside Early Game Access that states: Early Game Access Early Game Access will begin on December 13th, 2011, seven days prior to the official launch. Starting December 13, 2011, invitations will be sent throughout the Early Game Access period offering rolling access to the game in the order in which you redeemed your Pre-Order Code, so be sure to check your email inbox tied to your Star Wars: The Old Republic™ account! To see if you are eligible to log in to the game for Early Game Access, log in to swtor.com and visit My Account > > Pre-Order. Take note to the "rolling access to the game in the order in which you redeemed your Pre-Order Code" Don't get pissy at BW because you didn't research and actually read the info.
  17. October 26....would of been sooner if BB didn't screw up and they sent me my code when I actually pre-ordered in August. Oh well, at least my house is spotless. Needed something to do while I wait. HAHA
