  1. Wait people actually roll need for their COMPANIONS?! The things you can only use solo, only have one of out at a time, and deal maybe 1/3-1/2 of the damage/healing of a player character? Oh lawd
  2. Why on EARTH are you bragging about 20 or 30k a day dude. That is one 7 minute daily space mission worth of credits. Did you forget a zero? Or is your main level 15?
  3. I really enjoy this idea, it would be a blast and I assume it would be very easy to implement! The difficulty of the missions would have to be somewhere around a [Heroic 2+] mission. Your healer companion only heals for a max 400-500 hps at 50, but players can heal for up to 2000 hps and prioritize targets. So [Heroic 2+] is probably the most difficult you can make it without it requiring waaay more healing. Rewards should be about the same as the current daily heroics, each boss could drop a daily badge and the final boss could drop a level 50 purple mod or something. Maybe you could switch on a hard mode and get level 51 mods And to the people that say solo content is pointless in an mmo: Do you really spend every second of your online time with a group? During space missions? Dailies? Of course not. 3 companion quests would just add a little more fun and variety to the game, and give you a reason to log on when your friends aren't!

  5. So you would be pleased if they upped the difficulty of everything, and made it so that raids only dropped 1 piece of loot per boss? Somehow that adds more content? It would keep you playing longer as a deliberate time sink...but in terms of actually content nothing would change! Most players these days STOP playing because of time sinks.
  6. Holy crap, you can really do over 4k dps? Going all out, my vanguard in columi gear does 1200 dps (tested on some elites on Ilum). What class/spec are you? I need to roll that!
  7. Everyone keeps mentioning how awesome guard and taunt are in pvp, which is true, but they completely forget that dps specs can do those as well. And to top it off, guard damage isn't affected by our mitigation. I'd say the best bet if you wish to "tank" in pvp is to follow something similar to the "Iron Fist" build taugrim has. Wear dps gear, turn on tank stance, obtain all the mitigation/utility talents in the tank tree, and put the rest of your points into a dps tree. You can guard, dish out very good dps, and reduce the damage you take by a fair amount.
  8. I never understood the "its optional" argument for adding things into the game. Why not let players have the option to be automatically 50? Why not let players have the option to switch between Trooper and Sage? Why not let players have the option to solo all the content and gain level 145 epics? Why not turn fleet pass and quick travel into 5 second cooldown abilities? Its all optional and "doesn't affect you" in the slightest if someone chooses to do these, so by your argument, these should all be allowed. Honestly I'm sort of 50/50 right now on the issue, but adding options is not always a good thing, since it can cheapen the gaming experience for many. I'm not saying there isn't a good argument for allowing players to change ACs, but it certainly does alter the way the game will be played and is not something to toss in just because a player can choose to ignore it.
  9. On one hand I don't want to go through my class's story line again But on the other hand, advanced classes are really damn different.
  10. Yeah that would make me the happiest as well, however the time they would spend designing these new solo places would be immense. So I figured the best I could hope for is simply them taking current content and make is soloable.
  11. I would be COMPLETELY on board, and it would keep me playing for many more months. The idea of getting to use all my companions and getting to mix and match my team just sounds brilliant. And think of the time sink that will occur by having players gear up their companions for the content! Time sink = more money for bioware. Obviously the gear that drops should be nowhere near a HM in level, and I would say it should only drop level 50 epic mods or something. They should either add an option to flashpoints called "easy mode", or they should create new flashpoints specifically for you and 3 of your companions, whichever seems to make more sense. Either way, I'm ready and waiting!
  12. Things to ease the leveling process, perhaps increased xp gains or faster rested xp. Perhaps more/better quick travel options. Shared credits/commendations between characters. And the ability to transfer bind on pickup loot.
  13. Agreed. At least they allow us to get xp for it now... But I before I go attempting to level it up, I'd at least like to know generally what the rewards are (social abilities? NEW abilities? More stats? Races?)
