  1. They have been leveling together for years (on other games before this one of course) and playing at about the same times so they really didn't run with anyone outside of the guild so to them the transfer didn't really affect their gameplay. BTW does anyone have a link to the information where bioware said they are going to force the move on the remaining servers at the end of the summer? I wouldn't mind looking over it and presenting it to my guild.
  2. I understand Biowares main plan is to herd everyone to a select few servers, and thus far they have done an outstanding job of that. Here is my issue though. My guild a great bunch of guys whom I have been gaming with for 6 years now do not want to move from the server that they have been on since pre-launch. Ok that is how they voted I would rather move but they plan to stay till they are forced to move, so I will stick with the people that I enjoy playing my game with. Now seeing as how that as well as all of the low population servers are locked from having characters made on them I can't very well refer a friend to play the game with me now can I? Sure I can refer someone but I am not sure about everyone else out their but if you refer a personal buddy of yours don't the two of you want to play the game together? I really do not think this was thought out very well because my buddy is not going to play the game if he can't game with me and then again why in the world would I send him a referal? I doubt my post here is going to lift the lockout but maybe it might get someone to start to realize that some possible revenue is being lost because of some short sighted foresight. Let here a solution here other then I need to move and ditch my guild, let's be constructive.
  3. I am not seeing it since the patch I have been criting on an average of 1 augment every 3 to 5 tries which is better then I have been doing.
  4. Bioware writes some of the best stories in games. Sure they can't win them all and they will never make everyone happy because someone always has to complain over the dumbest things imaginable. Try asking a question about something in the future with a calm thoughtful approch instead of directed distain and you will likely get a fair response.
  5. click on the flash animation on the front page about 1,2 legacy I am pretty sure it says in there that the free 30 days are for people who have level 50s. If not it is there somewhere.
  6. Oh I can imagine since I work for a lending institution. Guess it is a good thing this is a game and not a lending institution. Two entirely different things. Also nothing says anything about rolling back anything on the website they are fixing the assests.
  7. Are you saying you own a software company? What is it because if you act this way you dont seem to understand how databases work. What is the name of it so I will make sure not to buy it.
  8. never say never, COH, AOC, STO, DCOL. just to name a few.
  9. I can't belive people think that their money and guild stuff is lost ect. If they didn't even bring the servers on line for 45 minutes no one would even have a clue they goffed something up. Once they are back up and running the things taken away will be back and all this nerd rage will have been for nothing.
  10. Never played WOW so I never understand all these comparisons that a lot of players seem to throw out about this game and that game. I do know however this game has been very smooth and well built compared to some of the titles I have played. Anyone who belives this was a bad game at launch or even now didn't play STO at launch or any time after. Yeah it got better but at launch it was almost unplayable. No matter what there is no way to ever make everyone happy in an MMO. It is just not possible no matter how hard a company tries. Constructive criticism can go a long way, but outright complaining and bashing usually falls on deaf ears.
