i only have characters on one server and i am absolutely positive he is not on another server. Thank you everyone for all the suggestions and although my problem is not fixed i am not going to give up. Just want to say this one more time so i don't confuse anyone. I have never server transferred nor do i have any characters on another server. My scoundrel is not on my account at all in no shape or form(as in i cant log onto him)

yea all my other characters ended up on my server but the one i wanted to play ironically lol. i understand delys but seriously 2 weeks and nothing? at this rate my remaining sub time will run out before i get a response. i checked character transfer and it said it was down.

came back after several months(last played in feb.) and noticed my scoundrel was missing. i informed customer support about it and its been over 2 weeks and no reply. I pretty much have 2 weeks left of sub time and still missing my character and since i unsubbed i feel that by the time i get a response ill be unsubbed. Did customer service quit?

this comment shows the OP did zero research before starting this thread. if you are having major gameply issues than its most likely due to your computer. Secondly, if you actually ready the free to play and preferred status restrictions you would see as plain as day that subscribers get priority in login queue meaning your server is most likely full of subscribers.

hmm its charging less subscription than TOR and still has it game running on servers. with 15kish subscribers and still have to pay the dev there isn't much room for profit therefore yes you can tell how profitable a game is based off of subs since its the ONLY source of income they have. Don't believe why don't you go ask all those cable companies that lose a lot of subscribers if it didn't have a direct effect on their profit. I last thing i don't get. your analogy makes no sense to me. employers and customers are the same thing?

i subbed like normal and didn't have to spend a dime. hell i can get HK with the coins they give you for subscribing.

if you income is from subscription than it DOES indicate how profitable it is. is this a joke right now?

1. The incentive to tank or heal is faster queue times. 2. Yea they need to add dual spec or a way to save spec settings 3. Tanking will always be fun to some and not to others not much they can really do about that. 4. This i agree with you on. there should be a queue timer with estimated queue time. 5. This makes no sense they are both working fine. 6. Want more xp from flashpoints? use legacy 7. This is debatable while i want cross-server some people do not.

Exact same thing happened to me. left a month after launch than came back and subbed bcz of how much it improved but unsubbing for now till i get my character back lol

A double edge sword. more people but also more idiots however thats how it is with mmos that have a good population.

Well the main two reasons the engine was changed in FFXIV was because it required an high end computer so it greatly limited the amount of players and was too powerful for ps3. SWTOR engine does not have this problem. Another problem with FFXIV was the game itself which they fixed by firing the old producer and hiring a new one who greatly changed the game in a positive way. This game has changed tremendously in the past year for the better and the only problems left are really related to the engine. I remember when i started back in December and there was ability lag and problems with skills not going off, people said it wouldn't get fixed unless they used a new engine but low and behold it has been fixed and no longer an issue.

here the problem with that logic, it assumes that by adding dual spec it will somehow delay the progress of new content which is simply not true. Developers do not work in 1 single cell, they are split up into groups to work on specific things. Adding dual spec isn't something so difficult that it would greatly delay the addition of new content. In all honesty this is something that a lot of people want and was promised a long time ago.

games don't evolve from just settling for what they have now. especially an mmo which must always be improving.IF i que both heals and dps and get in as dps is it fair for my group to have to wait for me to completely move all my points into healing spec. Hell i don't even need dual spec if there was a way to save talent presets and bar presets. I honestly don't understand the strong opposition to this i mean it doesn't really hurt anybody. come on i thought this was suppose to be a good community i guess i was wrong...

Been winning all day i think i lost maybe 1 match today? sometimes you get bad players but only the good players make up for the bad. good example was doing the voidstar and there were two shadows who constantly tried to backcap and while the rest of my team ignored them i constantly ran between the two walls to stop them. Point is you can make the difference and qqing on the forums just proves that you are either an average player or bad one and definitely not a good one.

Depends on class because i hate to break it to you but not everyone wants to play the same way/class as you. i KNOW its a shock but you will get over it. Learn common sense please.

you are indeed correct sir and i have corrected the error i have made.

i am a subscriber and i do know of the options you did recommend however, they are not true dual specing. Dual speccing is more convenient and far less time consuming. Respecing generally forces you to not only manually redo your talents but also redo your toolbar. The point of dual spec is more or less having an extra configuration of talents/toolbar to switch to.

last time i played i heard they were adding dual spec in 1.2. now that i come back it still inst implanted. am i missing something?

They get two and have to buy more so YES they have to buy more toolbars learn to read.

bubble makes up for light armor stop hiding behind that poor excuse absorbing 3k dmg is good. so every 20 seconds u can absorb 3k dmg and if u pre bubble even sooner.
