  1. Nothing can save swtor. It's whole game design flawed. It tried to copy WoW, but did a seriously bad job at it. Star Wars + WoW game design mechanics does NOT work.
  2. In other words, you're being punished by Bioware. Welcome to the club of rerollers who know how you feel. At least you got to have your characters combined on one server. My 25 is stuck on Fatman, and i feel like i wasted all my time there. Bioware basically said *^%# &*# to me.
  3. Yes. It was definitely necessary. This is what an MMO should feel like, instead of a co-op game.
  4. That's really sad, because Malak used to be the most populated in beta too.
  5. 6 months is patience long enough.. Seriously.
  6. I thought they said they were raising caps in that one interview about "super servers"?
  7. Are these reliable stats for overall population numbers? http://www.torstatus.net/shards/us/stats
  8. Don't worry Kashley. Those of us who did reroll because of dead servers understand the frustration. Just ignore the haters.
  9. The most inetlligent words in this thread.
  10. No. As long as you don't exit the server.
  11. That would admit failure then. And we all know Swtor isn't a failure.
  12. It's already been broken! Queue problems were present when it was on PTS. It didn't even show our role icons correctly. WOW, these devs really are out of touch. rofl.
  13. Rofl. You're being paranoid. I'm not affiliated at all with that site. I don't even visit it unless someone links it to me.
  14. It wouldn't be Empty if there was at least 1 person on it though.
  15. Stop kidding yourself. It wasn't healthy at all. It was dead.
  16. Only because he runs Darth Hater.. if it wasn't because of that, he would be very critical of swtor, but the fact is, he can't, because he gets money off that website, and gets exclusive interviews.
  17. Finally, someone who gets it.
  18. http://www.gamebreaker.tv/video-game-shows/star-wars-the-old-republic-video/the-republic-swtor-show/swtor-server-merges/ Server merges are coming; there is no denying that. Sure, BioWare is not going to call the free transfers being offered for Star Wars: The Old Republic the start of server merges, but realistically that’s what they are. Our whole panel agrees; however, it also agrees that server merges are a good thing. The server populations are spread way too thin. In fact, it was spread too thin the week after launch, and that’s when the game had hit its current peak. The most frustrating issue is not that BioWare is doing servers merges, but how it is handling them. Justin Lowe sees no other good way to move the situation forward, but Larry Everett, on the other hand, is extremely disappointed. He said, “Out of all the ways you could possibly handle server transfers [...] the way BioWare is handling them is the worst.” To find out more about Larry’s frustration, the exciting updates coming to SWTOR in update 1.3, and Gary Gannon‘s impersonation of Ed Park tune into the show today. We have three media personalities — Gary Gannon from GAMEBREAKER, Justin Lowe from Darth Hater, and Larry Everett from Massively — to tell us what’s what in the world of Star Wars: The Old Republic on our forum called The Republic! I agree with them so much. Listen to it, because they bring up critical issues that most people are denying.
  19. Yes. Instead of 18 hr. cooldown fleet pass, they have a 17.5 hr. coolodown!
  20. It's kind of sad when the customers have to organize Bioware's own list. Why are they even getting paid?
  21. This one is all fragmented, with 3 different posts, and unorganized: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=4619277#post4619277 Consolidate into a more organized list like in this link: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=479470 And add the list to the FRONT page. Not everyone visits these forums.
  22. Because they want you to pay more money when paid transfers come. Their bottom line is $$$, not your concerns.
  23. I use them in a couple of my names. I don't have a problem with people though, since there was no one to group with anyway. lol.
  24. Use your brains people. He's trying to say that he rerolled on Jedi Covenant, because his orginal server was dead. Now that transfers are here, his original server didn't get to choose Jedi Covenant, where he rerolled to. This is what i wanted too, but there is no way i'm going to pay for a transfer, when it should be free because of Bioware's fault..
