  1. Yea of course not all germans versions have the issue, but it is quite interesting that most of the bug reporters just happened to be playing the german version. And again, redownloading the language files did fix it for me. So it's worth trying that anyways while we wait for an official solution to the problem.
  2. I switched the game back to english (took around 5 mins to dl), now it's working fine. No 0.00% error and can login to chars normally. Clearly problem is with the german files.
  3. Same thing here, tried repairing launcher, but that doesn't do anything. It downloaded and installed the patch just fine, but afterwards just stuck at 0.00% and can only login with a new char. Also several people with the same problem in Hutta chat, so we are definitely not the only ones. Edit* Hey, I'm also playing in german. I'll try to switch the language back and forth again too. Let's see if that helps!
  4. Bump! This issue still hasn't been fixed and hence you can't buy anything from the Ossus vendors.
  5. The decoration vendor D3-C0 that used to sell decorations for data crystals has been converted in 6.0 to selling his decorations for tech fragments. However, if one tries to buy the items the game responds with a red text "You don't meet the requirements to to purchase this item", no matter how many thousands of tech fragments one has. A similar bug has been reported to occur with the gear vendor Major Pucenisco, who has been converted to use credits. I assume the same bug is also behind the malfunction of D3-C0, i.e. the vendor still requires the player to trade in the old data crystals in addition to the tech fragments.
  6. I've been pvping on my combat medic from lv 10-15 today and I think it's a lot of fun even at that level. Healing is definifely not useless. I can keep someone alive through 2 people dpsing, but if a third gets in the mix I can't outheal. That's working as intended. I don't want healers to be able to turtle a game. 3 people should be able to burst through the healing. Also, there's many a time when I've ran together with a healer friend of mine and we've healed each other through the attack of 3-4 empire players so long that other people had time to run in and take them on. Healing is completely overtuned in wow atm and I hope they don't balance it to that level in tor. I like dps being able to kill my targets for once. Edit: I've been fighting mostly people lv 10-25 so I agree that their dps might get higher on higher levels so it can be different then. Last time I had a duel with an inquisitor though, he couldn't outdps my healing and it turtled until a third player joined in.
  7. It wasn't that. It was the fact that you're confusing the CE mount with magic-pony made out of the tears of noobs whose name I forget. At least that's the only mount you buy with real life cash and that scales by definition, that I can think of. Other than that I doubt there's other precedents of mounts that auto-scale with training you can buy with cash. And even that one was announced to scale when you could buy it. Bioware never said anything about mount scaling, so there is none. I don't understand why anyone would assume there to be scaling if they aren't somehow used to it somewhere else. I'm not and I got what I expected to get.
  8. Well I'm gonna enjoy my mount from 25-50 if you don't enjoy it, then I empathize with your situation.
  9. Nothing scales by definition. I assume you're a wow player since you're talking like one. Did you ever buy a lv 40 mount and then have it magically by default scale to a lv 60 mount? I don't think so. There's only scaling if someone specifically says there is. And the significant advantage you're looking for is that you don't have to pay for the cost of the mount and you can spend your cash on other stuff. I'd sad you didn't like what the DDE offered. I bought the CE and I have no regrets.
  10. If you like queuing, you should roll on a pvp server. Also, I think there's a greated likelyhood of the world staying populated on pvp servers because there's people looking for world pvp. That's a big factor for me at least. Also I like doing warzones and I don't want to wait in queue for ages because I'm the only one. The top three are Tomb of Freedom Nadd, Legions of Lettow and Bloodworthy. Tomb of Freedom Nadd has a significant spanish population, but it's also home to the pvp eu initiative and you'll find some great pvp guilds there if you can stand the spanish spam in general. Legions of Lettow is the self-proclaimed UK PVP-server of tor, but there's also a czhech population and some russians there. Occasionally there's someone asking for guilds of other players in russian but not all that much in my experience. Bloodworthy is host to a lot of nordic players, but I must say I didn't see anyone asking anything in general in swedish. I thought it had a pretty nice and helpful community too. So take your pick. All of them have queues of more than 1300 people. (I've leveled a trooper to lv 14 on all of them and those are my impressions, feel free to disagree.) Also, I'm talking about EU servers here I thought you meant EU since you said 'english please' but I realize now you didn't specify.
  11. You can get to the fleet at any level if you run to the main base where you take the shuttle to the fleet. I generally to this around level 6 to pick up my professions. If it hasn't been changed since beta, the GTM is on Coruscant so you need to take the shuttle there as well, but I don't see any reason why you couldn't do that.
  12. In beta I spent over 10 minutes just looking at the scenery in Nar Shaddaa and wishing we had spaceships like that in real life. That place is astounding. They've done such of a good job with the landscapes, and it's not just the cityscapes. I didn't have much anticipation for Taris, but when I got there I thought it was remarkable. It was so sad and still beautiful at the same time, and the music in that place was very well designed. It was like what some major city on earth would look like 100 years after nuclear war. That's what I love about Star Wars. Even though it's so remote, it can still make you think about the real world. That's what great games are made of.
  13. Tbh spanish server only because the spanish can't be trusted to speak in english in general. Even if asked nicely, they'll still keep spamming in TOFN. I haven't seen anything similar in Bloodworthy so I believe the nordic guys don't have to be put on their own server. And I'm a swedish speaking Finn btw. If I was a spaniard I'd be ashamed of how my countrymen are acting.
  14. If you like pvp, you should be able to just do warzones and pvp. If you don't like pvp you can always do quests and level that way. There is no 'actually questing'. There is story in pvp too you know. And I've been leveling my combat medic hrough warzones from 10 onwards and it doesn't feel like it's way too fast at all. If anything I sometimes think I should just go back to questing so I could actually get to the next level and the new abilities. If you win every game, then sure it's fast, but if you actually have a worthwhile enemy team, you're definitely not going to be winning all the time.
