NEVER EVER EVER use TSO on anything BUT Unload; SERIOUSLY! It will make your unload free and then while you are channeling it you are vent even more heat while still doing damage. Then depending on your cooldowns you will vent for another 1.5 seconds because you might be using tracer immediately afterwards.

I simply cannot see how you are over heating so much. There is no reason you should be overheating. This is one of the, if not THE easiest classes to play its a 3-4 button pushing class. You want no lower than 30% crit without IA crit buff. If you take this and add 15% (tier bonus) you are at 50%. I like to stay at around 32% though. Never stack alacrity, it's so utterly useless for our class and I see so many people using it. This gives you plenty of crit to pretty much vent 8 heat every 3 seconds with our talent. With this high amount of crit it makes Unload pretty useless. While I cannot say for certain without a parser to test, I do not think unload is worth casting unless you are overheating. I mean I'm constantly critting for 3400 on my Tracer and I crit far less of the time for 2400 a tick on Unload. This is why I need a damn parser. Thermal Sensor Override + Unload = AMAZING. After you're unload, hit a rapid shot if you are still a little over heated. Unload should only be used (at least I believe) when you are over heating AND when you have your talent proc to buff it's damage. Vent heat is on a 2minute timer for us Arsenal users; only use it for your burst damaging. I pop adrenal / relic and then I spam non-stop. I TRY TO OVERHEAT then when I get to about 70-80% heat I will vent 66 of my heat and then start normal DPS. Heatseeker is only 16 heat. A lot of people will spam it whenever it is up regardless of their heat and that is bad. It's okay to sometimes wait a GCD or two so you can use an unload or one rapid shot to let your heat cool down. Remember if this crits you also vent 8 heat. With arsenal spec + tier set piece (4) our rail shot is always free therefore it vents heat. You are doing something utterly wrong. I'm sorry; I hope this helps. I have also cleared HM KP/EV and I don't have ANY PROBLEMS with heat. In fact this class is so boring and easy I'm seriously considering rolling a sniper.

Because THIS BIOWARE is from Austin, Texas. This Bioware has NEVER made an MMO before so the majority of the time they just wing it without thinking. Instead of buffing everything like they should and make everything useful, they decide to make everything useless because they are dumb. How they didn't see Ilum turning into crap is beyond me. Taking out the resources on western side to drive AWAY players makes no sense. And lets not talk about the green glow bug from healing companions that took about 7 months to fix.

When that happened, WoW slowly ABSORBED those addons. I want customized addons for my UI. The current UI is horrible.

Did you hit Accept when the quest completion popped up? That FINISHES the instance. Next time leave it up and don't hit accept. I'm willing to bet that's what happened. It's a pretty stupid mechanic actually.

If your casting an ability then immediately after cast unload when it is not off cooldown yet, then this problem is trigger. 100% of the time.

So please tell me why I cannot cast tracer missiles back to back with just about 1.1-1.2 cast time. There is a delay because of the GCD. It's not skill lag or server lag either because the skills are still greyed out and the line is still going down meaning my GCD isn't up yet. And even if the gods took pity on you and somehow we are ALL WRONG and alacrity does affect GCD. It still would not be worth it. One..you over heat too much and also do far less dmg. 1.5seconds is a very fast cast for the amount of damage you can pump out when you do far more with crit and surge and power

You are very welcome. Forums are breeding grounds for idiots. All it takes is one person to spread false information and the cattle immediately fall in line. This is similar to Accuracy. Some people believe that having over 100% accuracy give you armor penetration..it does NOT. I have also tested this with 1 sec cast times which is stupid easy as a merc due to talents. I had to WAIT for my GCD each time. GCDs are NOT affected.

I recommend to about 33% crit and dump the rest below power. I'm stuck at 30% due to gear changes but it will be improving soon, still damn annoying to be that low. The main reason why it is useless for us more so than others is that only one ability will benefit from alacrity - Unload/Full Auto. When Tracer Missle / Grav Round is a 1.5 second cast and the GCD is 1.5 cast..well..it's kinda pointless. I do hope this helps.

You don't care for haste as arsenal...2/4 abilities are instants..one is channeled..the other 1 is 1.5sec cast with a 1.5sec GCD..wasted stat.

Or..BW can actually think ahead..and make a few changes. Is it honestly so damn hard to insert a sort option? If I'm a Heavy Armor class..and I have no desire to buy gear for my pets..why on earth should I have to scroll down and search for gear when a simple sort "Heavy Only" would make things so much more simpler? It's as if you guys just THREW all the damn gear in the vendor without any organization. I mean its not like while scrolling down the list all the heavy, medium, light armor are together. They are everywhere..sloppy if you ask me.
