The only planet I truly despise is Taris, on the Imperial side. It's dark, dreary, and if you agro one rakghoul, you're going to be attacked by half a dozen others. The Republic side is moderately better, because at least it's daytime.

Personally, I find it rather amusing to hear Theran saying "If Master Zho could see me now", while we're slaughtering Jedi.

One thing to keep in mind, if you do decide to do the Warzones to get either of the 2 PvP companions, make sure to pick up the daily and weekly quests. Between rewards for running the warzones, the daily and weekly quest rewards, and the rewards for the companions quest, you will end up with enough Warzone Commendations to get a full set of the basic PvP gear. So if you find you don't mind PvP as much as you thought, you are geared to enjoy more of it.

So is what they are saying anywhere close to what the subtitles show them saying, or just random words?

Are you sure your level isn't showing as something like 50 >> 42 by your portrait? The 50 is in a larger font so you might be missing the 42.

Hoth would be about level 42, so that sounds like what is happening.

Are you maybe on a lower level planet where both you and your companion have been down-synced? You can tell by looking at your level, it should show 50>>42 if that is the case.

There is also a post on the Dev Tracker that they are having some connection issues that may impact in game Cartel Market purchases today.

This is my strategy. As a sniper, I sit in cover, call inc when needed, and throw AOE's around the node to prevent the opposing team's tapping it, and then I die and have to run back.

I am not a fan of PvP, largely due to the fact that I'm terrible at it. I did manage to get the 20 matches needed, though last night was really good and I got credit for 11 from only 6 played. One thing to keep in mind, if you are picking up the daily and weekly quests, along with the companion quest, you will get enough Warzone Commendations to get some PvP gear. By the time I finished last night, I had a complete set of Basic PvP gear. Now I just have to decide if I will ever make use of it again.

Sorry for the misinformation on my part. I have been turning on the "Show Exploration Missions" on all of my characters, so didn't realize that you couldn't pick them up if it wasn't turned on. Good information to have.

I haven't been to Korriban myself since the expansion, but from what I've seen on Tython, the way you pick up Heroics have changed. I would recommend looking for a terminal either at the Sith Academy or around the flight paths to find the Heroics. They will give you a button that will take you directly to the area where they are completed, and you don't have to turn them in anywhere, they auto complete.

I have done that quest both ways, and either way it should be turned back in to the same NPC who gave the quest back in town. I'm sorry but I don't remember the name of the town off hand, but it is the one right there by the island where the quest is done.

A couple of months ago, I joined a guild (actually 2 guilds, one on each side), that was a part of a larger gaming community. I didn't realize it at the time I joined, but there were only a couple of members of the community that actually played SWTOR. Now those few have apparently given up on the game, and I logged into a couple of my characters, one on the Imperial Side and another on the Republic side to see that I had been made guildmaster. I am a Jedi Consular away from getting the new Legendary (?) achievement, and do have several characters that were never able to get into the guilds, for the simple reason that there was never anyone around to invite them. So is there anyway for me to invite my other characters into these guilds? I'm leary of attempting to join another new guild since this attempt went so spectacularly wrong.

I believe it is just access to the content and the ability to level to 60. Though if any of the many mails I receive when creating a new character is from having purchased SoR (Shadow of Revan), I'm at work and can't check.

If you purchase the Shadow of Revan expansion now you can level your characters to 60 now. If you choose to wait you will get the Shadow of Revan expansion for free when KotFE launches on either the 20th if you qualify for early access or the 27th if you do not qualify for early access.

Thank you DarthDymond for the history lesson. I found it informative and very interesting. Whether it is Canon or Legend, it is part of the overall Star Wars universe, and it may be pointless but it is still interesting.

One thing to keep in mind when you are given a choice of which planet to visit next, such as Balmorra or Nar Shaddaa (or Taris or Nar Shaddaa, on the Republic side), take a look at your quest log, one will be green and the other yellow. Green text indicates you are a at least a couple of levels above the quest, while yellow text indicates that you are right at the level of the quest.

One thing to keep in mind on the strongholds, if you accept the quest from the hologram either on the fleet or your capital planet, it will complete when you walk around your stronghold for a few seconds. After that you will receive 3 or 4 mails over the next few hours that will include a cargo hold, stronghold storage, mailbox, GTN kiosk, etc., a vendor, and some other things, so you can set up your starting area with all of the basics, for free. Make sure you walk around in the strong hold at least several steps until the quest completes.

My Chiss IA Sniper is technically a polygamist, having married 1 companion as well as someone on a planet (not to be named due to spoilers), as well as having a serious connection with at least 2 other characters she has come across during her travels. Granted only 1 of these is a companion, so I'm sure the others will not continue to have any impact going forward. I have learned to not take my Sniper's hubby along while questing. Kaliyo is the soul of discretion, and carries no tales.
