  1. I think its just a matter of bad luck, in the last 3 days, I've gotten about 20.
  2. I hadn't really thought of it this way, but 1 million times this^^^. While I enjoyed Makeb on my Powertech, and my Sorcerer. I am really dreading doing it on my Marauder, thankfully I'm almost done. But why aren't I hunting someone down in the name of the Emperor? I wouldn't mind if the current story was the primary quest line for Makeb, but they could've wrote a few quests for each class. Bounty Hunter picks up some extra credits via bounties Inquisitor finds some new artifact Warrior hunts down some double crossing sith IA has to steal information on Isotope-5 like products on other planets from the Hutts. BTW Bioware, if you want help writing these, feel free to give me a jingle XD.
  3. I don't think it would be a bad idea, would we get a notification of when the companion returned as well? That way we could send them right back out? This would be nice for Bio, that way I could gather and gather and gather. Than Craft and craft and craft. However, I think the price of the mission quests would have to go down or people would call it a credit sink. Because you aren't doing anything else to make credits while your doing remote crew skills. People will easily have their companions going 18 hours a day. 5 Companions x 45 Minutes (average) per mission x 2500 credits (average) = 225000 credits spent gathering in 18 hours. While this could truly prove lucrative for your gatherer/crafters, it could be expensive for your gatherers. Especially if crits stay as low as they are on Thermal Regulators and similar products.
  4. There is a point in the Bounty Hunter story where you get to have Torian and your default companion, and even once where you have your whole crew involved in a battle.
  5. I did it solo on my 53 Powertech Tank with Mako. I died a couple times before I realized that you had to side step that laser. I grouped for it on my 55 Sorcerer DPS. I may try to solo it on my Marauder here soon. On my PT it was quite simple. I was able to do it while distracted by my daughter. I wasn't taking a lot of damage, and once you blow both of the cells. It gets easy. Save your heroic moment for this point, and pop all of your legacy abilities.
  6. Start a custom channel, share it with other guilds, as well as all the members of yours. Than that will allow you to communicate freely between guilds and hold big 1000 person conversations XD.
  7. 1) Create a custom channel and share it with your friends. Problem solved. 2) Your hood goes down with certain masks/helmets. Goes up with others. 3) I have no problem using my mouse to control my Camera 4) If you push the ~ key on your keyboard, it will load the Companions action bar. Each companion skill controlled by ctrl+# (i.e. crtl+1 is attack, crtl+2 is passive, and so on) 5) Never had this problem, I've tried it. Are you sure its locked? 6) Right click on your picture, Go to Group, Leave group... or I believe /leave works 7) I like the GTN how it is, but I wouldn't mind the ability to list on the go. 8) Duel in either Nar Shaddaa or Coruscant, and use a knock back ability. That will knock them off the edge, thus being fatal.
  8. ^^This right here is why.............I killed Thana on my Sorcerer.
  9. You misunderstand. What I mean is that if that is your role of choice and your not going to respec, Don't queue for the other role. There are talents in each build that make you more efficient in your role, which makes it easier on everybody. Better heals, increased damage, better defense/endurance.
  10. ^^^^^^This a million times. I had this same issue the other day in Athiss. I was healing, and I was being nailed by adds on a boss fight. The DPS wasn't doing anything about it. The Tank said something after the wipe, and I explained that I can't heal them if I'm healing myself to stay alive to heal them.
  11. No where do I say that I am the best player in the game. I simply stated a few brief issues that I have had lately.
  12. I either play as my tank, or queue with a tank from my guild. So I guess I don't normally set myself up for the disappointment of bad tanks. I've had some pretty good PUG tanks though as well. I thought of the CC thing while I was writing, but than some how it just slipped my mind.
  13. I normally don't complain here or in game, but I have grown increasingly irritated by people not playing their roles right or not following boss mechanics. I have a 55 Powertech Tank, and a 55 Sorcerer Healer(Was DPS for a while), so I have filled all roles @ 55. I decided to go back to healing because I was having to heal any ways. QUEUE AS YOUR SPEC This one is pretty self-explanitory. Don't queue as a DPS Juggernaut if you are geared and specced as a tank. Doing so slows down the DPS and can cause enrage timers. Also, Don't queue as heals if you are planning on DPSing. Queue as what you are, or respec before the run. HEALERS That is your primary job, Heal. Do that before all else, you are not DPS. Please don't let me die because you are to busy DPSing. You waste resources(Force, Heat, Energy) if you are doing a lot of DPS. When you waste resources, you decrease the amount of healing you can do. DPS My biggest issue with DPS is that they think they are tanks. I can not stand it when a Sniper pulls before the tank, or a Marauder jumps into battle before the Tank is ready. If you don't allow the tank to grab aggro, than the healer has to work harder healing you and the tank. It's easier on the healer to concentrate on one person, and throw heals to others when needed. Also, if you think your going to DPS-tank the whole FP while I'm healing, I promise you will die.I would rather use my resources to heal someone that knows their role. Additionally, If the Healer is having to DPS, that means there is something wrong with your rotation, or build. Healer shouldn't have to focus on your job. I was in TFB SM over the weekend, and we were on phase 1 of the final boss, and I along with the healers were DPSing the adds, while the rest of the DPS stayed on tentacles. If they are busy with adds, they aren't healing. If they aren't healing, you aren't staying alive. TANKS Aggro and Taunts. I haven't had many bad tanks, but these are the issues I do see. Again, if the healer has the aggro, they are healing themselves, in order to stay alive to heal you. Taunt off of them. DPS can handle some standard/weak enemies, and maybe some strongs depending on their gear. But if you can hold as many Strongs/Elites/Champions, you will be better off. LOOTING Simply put, don't be a ninja looter. Need if you need, Greed if you don't. While it's no one elses job to decide if you NEED gear for your companion, don't need against someone needing for themselves for it. Generally if I want something for a companion, I ask if its ok to look for companion just because it makes everything easier. No one wants to play with a ninja looter. DON'T BE CRAPPY TO PEOPLE I was in a 55 FP the other day and the DPS was being crappy. Pulling and screaming "Spacebar....Spacebar Please.... SPACEBAR PLZ!.... OMG SPACEBAR DAMMIT..... ITS NOT THAT GREAT OF A CUT SCENE". I had an issue with this person earlier that day when they were forming a Hardmode EV Ops group. Tank was doing some things and it was "Hurry, Are you on your way yet?..... You can do that later..... OHMUHGERD HURRY THE **** UP". When they started in the FP, I voted to Kick. No one wants to play with someone if they are going to be crappy. After they got kicked, they messaged me with "Why do you hate me so much?" and I told them I didn't like their attitude. They continued for a few minutes, and I blocked them. Two minutes after I blocked them, they bothered me on another character, and I did it again, and they bothered me on a 3rd character. No one wants to play with you if your a PSYCHO! We didn't date, I didn't get you pregnant. Don't act like the obsessive girlfriend. /rant
  14. I'd freak out to if I'm tanking a droid boss, and my healer turns on me and starts healing the boss instead. I would probably turn around and Rocket Punch you. /sarcasm I, myself, have had pretty good luck with who I play with. I have had some people that get really crappy. Like "Spacebar....Spacebar..... SPACEBAR PLZ......................OMG SPACEBAR DAMMIT" However I fancy myself one of the 10% that are helpful. I have lent Guildmates credits, or even bought them stuff from the GTN that their F2P credit limit didn't allow them to buy. I have explained Ops to people without getting rude, and I have helped people with quests if they needed it. However, If someone isn't doing their job in the group, and we wipe more than we should I'm going to 1)***** at them and give them a chance to fix it. 2) Leave the group, que for another. 3) Vote to kick that person from the group.
  15. The Shadows of the Empire is an Imperial PVE guild. We are currently dealing with losing people due to cancelling their subscriptions or lack of time to play. We are trying to rebuild our ranks so that we can go back to running Ops. We are working at being a Weekend Night Ops guild, as most of us have day jobs during the week and can't stay up late during those times. We have a website, but it's not being used a lot. If you sign up there, I will find you in-game. Otherwise you can feel free to message me in game as well. http://sote-swtor.guildlaunch.com/ Nivix (Primary) / Zaytah
