No, they are not. Absolutely not. Although augments can also be used to "fix holes" like reaching the accuracy cap, they are not mainly for that.

There's no reason for anyone to ever use anything other than mk-8 kits. Even if you temporarily put in cheap low level augments, you should still use mk-8 kits to create the slot for the augment, as you will sooner or later want to upgrade to mk-8 anyway.

There's no such thing as 100% anything. Even if the boss used only attacks that can be both shielded and defended, you still would not have 100% anything as shielding and defense do not add up like that.

To OP: Which part of the character window are you looking? If you hold mouse over the word "critical" in upper left part of the character window, that just shows how much crit is gained from critical rating stat on the gear. Does not show what you gain from buffs. If you look at the lower part of character window (and select the correct attack type from the dropdown menu) and hold mouse over the "critical" there, it shows your total critical chance percentage including everything that adds crit to you, not just critical rating stat.

Wrong, wrong and wrong! The buff does not affect critical rating stat in any way. It adds +5% to critical chance. READ THE TOOLTIP!!! As in, if you have 20% crit chance unbuffed, you'd have 25% buffed. It does not require you to even have any critical rating stat on your gear. And furthermore your whole comment is self-contradictory. It would be completely impossible to increase critical rating without changing critical chance, as critical rating adds to your critical chance. If you don't know the answer then don't answer. Don't just make stuff up that has no basis in reality.

What's so hard to understand? If you need grade 1 mats do grade 1 missions. If you need grade 2 mats do grade 2 missions. Grayed out just means that low level mission no longer levels up your crew skill. If you want to level up do the highest level mission available. If you want specific grade mats do that level missions. Purple mats come from getting critical succes on Rich, bountiful or abundant yield missions. Chance for critical succes is anywhere between 5%-20% depending how high influence you have for the companion being used.

This is because people mistake the word "mod" for the word "modification" and use those 2 terms as if they were interchangeable. Those 2 terms do not mean the same thing. "Mod" is not an abbreviation for the word "Modification. Those are different terms with different meaning. "Modification" is a general term that includes all the different components including armoring/barrel/hilt, mod, enhancement, augment, color crystal and so on. "Mod" is a name for just one type of modification called the mod. Bioware tends to have bad choices about what they name different things in the game.

The way is to create another level 1 Sith Warrior, and play until you have completed almost the whole class storyline at least to the point where the last companion conversations unlock.

SnV 16sm there 2nd and 3rd boss both drop implants even though the 2nd should be something else. Also 1st boss drop only 1 bracer even on 16m where it should be 2.

On a 5k (2880 x 1800) monitor, setting the games to use 1440 x 900 usually is the best. With the exact 2 pixels to 1 conversion, you don't loose that much for interpolation.

Like search for items named Covert Energy Armor or similar and wearing them or putting them on outfit designer will make your character look like as if it was naked, (apart from the underwear it has when wearing no gear at all)

There are items that are basically invisible and make your character look like it is wearing nothing even when it is
