  1. I'll never get how BW is balancing this game. 1vs1? 8vs8? Or now 4vs4 for arenas? I just came back to SWTOR from a break... but monkeys are still here. I remember back at the launch there was whining about merc/commando gravity/tracer spam, it was a bit OP yes... but it could be easly interruptet, but BW nerfed that class and broke it in 3-4 months after the lanuch, with mara/sent they dont see the problem. They said something about fixing it? They said Ilum PvP will come back in near future as well in early 2012. I guess BW need a casual/noob friendly class in SWTOR which is OP in hands of good players.
  2. Is there are any groups on ToFN that make open world pvp ? I dont mean ganking 1 vs 20 etc. I mean set with Imperial/Republic event and then fight like 20vs20+ In all games i played, the best open world pvp was made by players not by game mechanics...
  3. The game balance is broken now – that’s fact. I think I’m not a newb. Before 1.2 I was playing hybrid commando heal/dps – and yes, that build was OP… but it was OP vs. noob and total idiots. If I was fighting back then warriors/powertechs and some other classes it was fair fights were the most important thing was player skill and knowledge – it was really fun, even if I was losing. After 1.2 there is no fun, no skill, if someone have better class he will win. If I see that Sith Warror is hitting me (I’m full BM) for 4500 dmg while I have shield on, that is not right. When I see Powertech killing me in 3-4 sec. spamming two skills and I can’t over heal his dmg – that’s not right. After playing ~week on warzone I came to one conclusion after 1.2 – if u want to win a warzone u need to have more Sith Warriors/Jedi Knights. If I will have enough patience I will reroll on shadow now.
  4. Maybe some dev just couldnt kill Combat Medic trooper in pvp thats why they are nerfing this spec. Combat Medic is meat for Maruder/Sentinel huge dps - and in 1.2 Maruder/Sentinel are boosted LOL! I thought Ill get back to SWTOR for 1.2.. but now... this look bad, very bad
  5. If somone want more survivability go and respec for a hybrid healer/dps build with Grav Round - it rocks, its more fun and its overpower ;p - thats why maybe BW is nerfing Commando/BH. In hybrid build u can win some 1vs2 (when Imperials have similiar gear) and u pwn every class in 1vs1.

  7. IMO 1. First Responder is not worth wasting 2 points into it.. u will gain more putting those 2 points into Preventative Medicine 2. Gravity Surge is not worth 1 point if u are going for hybrid without Demolition Round.. it dont make u a difference if u will applie Vortex 2x times faster on this build or 2x times slower. 3. You need to test how will be ur pushback on grav round/chared bolts in pvp... if it will be frustrating you should consider putting some points into Stedied Aim I'm thinking about very similiary build with 2 pieces bonus from PvP Combat Medic set (+3x to Reactive Shield duration) and 2 pieces bonus from PvE Supercommand set (+3x to Reactive Shield duration) and that will give us Reactive Shield with 18s duration :>

  9. Huh.. like always.. ppl dont have a clue about new mechanic kill gain on Ilum and one more(or 2nd or 3rd?) time saying that something is bugged. I feel that there is cap kill based on time not on amount ur dead. First 80-100 kills shouldnt be a problem. After 80-100 kills there is mass spam "No valor gained", even if u will go and kill urself it will count about 2-3 kills and again "no valor gained". I went afk for about 15min and after the break, game counted me about 30-40 kills... So I assume its time based kill count... and I feel it the best way to eliminate kill trade on illum.
  10. BW to do list: 1. Make possibile cloning player characters to public test server 2. Make something to enter public test server from the orginal client = Much bigger feedback about public test server/changes etc. Look at EVE Online, AoC test servers - there is huge fedback about patche/updates/new content.
  11. Agree. Grav Round can cost 1 ammo (if grav round will crit) and the overall dmg is bigger then the Incenary Round. Inc Round is instant - thats the only advantage... but it should cost 2 ammo anyway. If Assault Specialist should be competative to Gunnery tree the Assault Plastique should be buffed too.
  12. If its harder to transfer items betwon Imperial <-> Republic its better for in-game economic (imp/rep). So dont change it :>
  13. Yes - Assault Plastique is instant, Demoliton Round is instant and Bacta Infusion is instat YES.. But Assault Plast is worse then Demoliton Round and imo it need a buff = need to have AoE dmg. Gunner and Assault Specialist should be competitive for any commando DPS player. atm its not... im not saying that Assault Specialist is crap, but u cant do as much dmg as u can do at Gunnery spec
  14. Hi, Please dont say anything about skill and SWTOR. Please go to EA friends in Norway - FunCom and see what mean game where personal skill is better then any stims/adrenals or gear. If u want skillful game please reblance all class that have in-combat stealth and in-combat some kind of speed. Disiable this in combat and then we can talk about personal skill + swtor. At this state PvP in SWTOR forgive huge mistakes and even not knowing own class because of in-combat stealth and speeds.
