  1. SoA dosnt work like that. Nightmare SoA only drops t2 weapons. Karagga is ment to drop the weapons, but yeah it bugs, and it seems to be often judging by the poster above me.
  2. Weekly hardmode raid gives 20 columni now. Im gueesing normal is alot of the same, though i wont know until sunday. I still havnt checked if it changed for daily, but i hope it has, I need alot of smugler gloves
  3. Yes and Yes. In all honesty most hardmodes are simple, you can do them more or less as a fresh 50 if you and your team know the mechanisms. you would also do fine in normal mode raids
  4. Can't belive you wrote of Force choke.. a bonus to improve force choke duration would be awesome. Also why couldnt we get a damage % buff after charge like juggs/guardians? just why.. Retaliation bonus would be blerh
  5. mm, my sentinels guild were also quite discouraged also, hopefully it was a one time thing, but like I said I doubt it.
  6. We usually use round robin to avoid bugs etc + get alien cubes. and we have done him several times before, and never seen this bug before todays patch wouldnt be suprised if the bug is somehow related to the t2 chests they so kindly added -_-
  7. I wish I was trolling Did him only a few hours after patch, and all we got was speeder and 2x t2 chests and a 25 armoring. And no I did not take a screenshot off it You can always hope its a one time occurance.. but I highly doubt it. I realise my title is some what misleading, and should've been "Karagga now bugs out and does not drop the t3 mainhands". Either way gg bioware on breaking yet another boss. possibly running a second raid on my other char later tonight this being 16 man, will see then if its a random occurance. And if it does happen again I promise ill take ss Edit: Stem.. Really you did him before patch and got the mainhand... though my title was less then perfect, I think i still made it clear that it was TODAYS patch that broke it.
  8. All he drops now is speeder + 2 t2 chests.. GG bioware, you can't seem to release a single *********** patch without further demolishing your own endgame.. I've seen indie games with less worthless developers.
  9. Of course, if someone is able to out dps a diffrent spec with a diffrent stat setup then you then clearly the players in that spec are doing something wrong. Come on silly logic is silly the only case where the dot spec truely has higher damage potential is on rep side, and that is ONLY because blade rush (reps massacre) is still suffering greatly from ability delay. And because the ataru more frequently bugs out there, infact it almost always bugs out there. I play both a Carnage Marauder and a Combat Sentinel, both raiding.. Each of them are in the top guild of the faction on the server. But hey, mabye my entire server is just full of noobs In all honesty, this has nothing to do with me playing my class better then they do theyr, clearly I know my class well as I''ve been playing it since launch, but in all honesty you are underestimating the potential of a balanced carnage spec. Though I doubt anything I say is gonna convince you

Power is plenty high on the list already, the % I set for the other stats is in no way so high that I am in any way starved for power. and this way I get more of a effect when I use power adrenal/relic, then someone who just stacks power. My massacre does a steady 1-2.5k + 500-800 ataru proc. I easily get up toward 8k total from ravage and 4-5k from scream. With adrenal + relic + berzerk + gore I can spam 4-5k crits, which would not be nearly as effective without the stability in my crit chance. I raid with 2 Anni marauders, both which I quite clearly out dps, as shown by the fact that I am the first to pull agroo of tank, despite always being the guarded one, I also usually finish my council member a considerable amount faster then them. (Not that they would ever admit it, afterall who wants to be beaten by the "gimped" carnage marauder ) Also we use a hybrid Immortal/Vengance tank, which means the amount of single target agroo he pulls is considerable. We have raided NM for quite a while, and enrage timers have never been a issue for us, so clearly the other marauders don't simply suck. By all means, put your faith in stackin one stat, but from my point of view that just looks like you are limiting yourself to getting some insane force screams, while you leave the rest of your arsenal at mediocre. And my all means, that implant is not a bad one, and I can defo see why someone consider it BiS, I just don't agree inregards to my own playstyle spec
  11. Crit chance = gold, atleast the way I play my carnage marauder. (up to a certain point obviously). Much easier to get extra power/surge in other slots since you can just farm smuggler hats/gloves for enchantments. Which also lets you get rid of some of that end. those 20 accuracy just feel wasted to me afterall the general consensus now seems to be that all you need is 98%/108% accuracy, and I've seen nothing to suggest otherwise, meaning as a carnage marauder you only need 2% outside of spec. my preffered balance for Carnage is: Str > 30% crit (unbuffed), 85-90% surge, 98%/108% Accuracy, and the rest in power. With this much crit I pretty much always crit on my last ravage hit, which one of the biggest hits we got, and my massacre crits enough that it can be considered part of my base damage. by balancing out I waste less to dimishing, and get great dps without my adrenals, and absurd dps with them.

  14. Yes marauder gear is crap,y lookwise and statwise, and no its not same for knight, I play both sides and knight sets are both much better. Infact the knights pve armor is actually GREAT. And battlemaster knight armor also looks good without helm.

Carnage is the most difficult spec yes, but saying that it is underpowered like some people say, is completly incorrect, It is a extremly viable spec when you learn the basics of it, and stat correctly. There are of course a few issues, but the worst of them being on the rep side, with theyr version of massacre which still suffer GREATLY from ability delay, and sometimes dosnt activate at all. Which basicly leaves carnage/combat gimped on rep side. Other issues being that offhand dosnt get any bonus from stats, it should obviously not get the full % but 33% bonus from stats on offhand seems fair. Also ataru proc not hitting obviously needs to be fixed aswell. Forcescream/blade storm slow ending needs to be fixed so it dosnt slow down our gcds. Minor stuff mainly.
  17. I played a Combat sentinel and a Carnage marauder, it is great. If played correctly it actually has more dmg potential then anni does, I say that as someone who competes on both chars against players who do nightmare 8-16 man weekly. Are there a few issues? sure, mainly the issue is on rep side though, Blade Rush (reps massacre) suffers greatly from ability delay still, and sometimes dosnt activate at all, which cause the rep massacre version to do CONSIDERABLY less damage. Charge is fine. Ravage is great if used correctly. And no its not only useful for one tree, those 2 first hits always easily hits, and they are free and do considerably damage. Yes Ataru is bugged. Force camo has benefit for everyone, its a escape and/or a interrupt, its one of our greatest abilities, no mather the tree. Absolutely untrue, Berserk is NASTY in ataru form, being able to spam massacre at ungodly speeds for 1 rage per use is HIGHLY effective. Berserk not worth it in rage? are you serious? free vicious slash that hits 2 targets at once, its absolutely amazing. Yes our ranges on saber throws are very short, and marauder should have a saber throw focused on actual damage. One thing you didnt bring up is our set bonuses which is perhaps the biggest insult of them all.
  18. As someone who plays both Imp and Rep on the same server, I could not possibly blame rep players if they do it or are tempted to do it.. God knows ive been tempted to do it with my rep char, simpy because ilum as it is, is EXTREMLY unfair to rep. And even more so to melee reps. Dex, any chance you could link that screenshot ?
  19. Exactly I also have both a 50 marauder and a 50 sentinel, both combat/carnage. Blade rush has severe issues with the animation, it causes massive ability delay (even after "fix") and sometimes it dosnt go of at all, it also does not look as good as massacre does, and does not feel fluid when mixed with other abilities like massacre does. The ability delay on blade rush costs us a sickening amount of dps we should have had.
  20. Nope you are not the only one, I have played as carnage since release, and if played correctly it is a great spec.
  21. Remove Autoface, and give melee the advantage they should have in melee range.
  22. respeccing to carnage, dosnt make you good at it. but Yes, damage is meaningless in all the honesty, the lack of objective rewards is a outrage.
  23. Yeah about 1/10 of the resolve bar.. it needs to be more, considerably more, same goes for roots.
