  1. I tried a couple guilds, and it was fun but it just can't compare to being able to play with a friend that you hang out with all the time anyways
  2. Well guys I just finished leveling my first character to 50. i got my marauder to 50 and completed his class quests a couple days ago and It was so much fun. I loved the ending and i really enjoyed leveling him, despite the fact that in any other mmo i hate leveling. But the reason I made this thread is unfortunately to say goodbye. I know most of you probably don't care, but i just felt like I have to say something so that people know that not everybody leaves because they dislike the game. I personally think this is the best game I have ever played. But i don't have any friends irl that play the game, and my computer isn't really that great. so between not-so-great fps and sometimes being bored because i don't know anybody else that plays, I just think I have to cancel my subscription. It was a great run, and if i find a close friend that plays and get a new computer, I will come back in an instant. Thank you all for making this community so much better than in so many other games I have played. I already know I am going to miss this community's maturity as soon as i start playing whatever game i decide to pick up next.
  3. I'm level 44 and the same thing happened to me. But i turned it in after finishing and i got about 7000 experience, which I'm assuming a level 19 wouldn't get? Idk but I did find the situation a bit peculiar.
  4. In my opinion, this is the best game I have ever played. Is it perfect? Not even close. Is it still insanely fun? Definitely. This game had almost everything i was looking for in an mmo: great animations for abilities, less of a grind just to start doing what you want to do at endgame, and an amazing story that makes questing enjoyable and makes me want to log on every day.
  5. In the 0/13/28 spec, I was wondering how you guys felt about the oppressing force talent in pvp. People seem to spec it most of the time, but 10 seconds doesn't seem like a lot to me, and using those two talents on reserves or parasitism seems like it would be more useful. What do you guys think?
  6. I was just wondering what everyone's favorite warzone is. I will try to keep a tally I personally like huttball the most. It is the only warzone where the objective is actually fun. I always play the warzone objectives, and don't just run around killing people, but the alderaan and voidstar objectives just aren't that fun to me. I think it's really fun to strategize where best to place your character so you can carry, or get passed the ball. I think it is fun to pass the ball to someone when a player/hazard gets in the way. I just find huttball the most fun overall. Now I'm not saying i don't like alderaan and voidstar, I still have fun in those warzones, I just much prefer huttball because i actually enjoy myself completing the objective. So what about you guys?
  7. I have been trying to get this game to work for a month now. About 4 days ago i installed a new graphics card, and now i can indeed finally play. My first thoughts were "wow, this game's voice acting really helps to make questing less boring!" I played through levels 3-11 in one sitting and it was great fun. Then at level 10 i decided to go annihilation marauder. I tried a couple warzones. That did not go very well. I know a lot of people complain about marauders being too weak, and at first i definitely agreed. But then I hit 15 and got juyo form and put one talent into 1% healing on dots. I got into a huttball match and did the usual. What i noticed is that I was improving very quickly. I was able to stay on people and manage my cooldowns much better as i kept practicing. Instead of getting wrecked like i normally do, I actually did fairly well. Instead of doing 75k damage and getting 1 killing blow, I did 140k damage, got 7 killing blows, and got my first 2.5k hit medal. I found that when i found myself 1v1 with a player with a similar health level, i won most of the time. Even in groups I was able to get my dot up and every now and then got 30 stacks of fury and unleash berserk on the opposition. I found that it really was a good time. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and I am going to be doing pvp a lot more as i level even if it is a little bit slower. So my message is that if you think marauder is weak, just keep practicing and you WILL get better and have more fun. Just an FYI, yes i know warzones aren't all about damage, i scored the ball once that huttball game too. Yes i know that 140k damage is nothing and it sucks royally compared to any decent player. I don't claim to be good, I am just saying I am getting better quickly and am having a much more fun time. So don't give up hope marauders!
  8. I personally think this could be a good buff, but the other talent trees would have to get something too because i have found that annihilation seems to be the best (or at least extremely competitive with) the two other trees. So yea maybe marauders could get a little bit of a buff like that, but not just annihilation
  9. Even if one side had a significantly higher amount of kids than the other (which neither does), your statement is completely false. There ARE more 30 year olds playing this game than 14 year olds. It has been proved time and time again.
  10. Yea baby represent. But on topic, I think that now that the game is launched they should split it up into brackets, but keep the buffing. I think this would work pretty well: 10-29 (everyone buffed to have 29 power/health) 30-49 (everyone buffed to have 49 power/health) and then 50 by itself.
  11. My desktop was a solid $600 and according to systemrequirmentslab my CPU and video card both are not good enough to play the game. That computer isn't that old either, probably 4ish years. If I am extremely lucky I will be able to run the game on low with decent FPS when i buy a new video card.
